It's about an 8-minute walk from the subway station. The room is quite large for the price in Japan; two suitcases could be laid flat and opened easily without feeling cramped. There's a free coffee machine, a bathtub, and complimentary ice cream for dinner, which was quite good. Free toiletries are also available, which you can pick up yourself at the elevator entrance.

Overall, the hotel is acceptable. I believe most guests choose it primarily for its excellent location in Ikebukuro. However, the cleanliness was only average; they don't provide a thorough cleaning for consecutive two-night stays, which is quite an issue. Additionally, the Narita Airport Limousine Bus service isn't very convenient, so keep that in mind. On the bright side, there are plenty of fantastic dining and entertainment options nearby. I highly recommend checking out the yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurants!

Located in the Ginza district, it's right next to Don Quijote, FamilyMart, 7-11, and Ginza Six, making shopping incredibly convenient. While it's a bit further from Ichibangai Street, it's still only a little over a 10-minute walk away. The hotel provides toiletries such as make-up remover, facial cleanser, toner, and lotion, all in convenient travel-sized packages. My kids absolutely loved them! If we visit Japan again during the winter break, we would definitely choose a 'the B' series hotel again.

The service at this hotel was the absolute worst I've ever encountered; it felt as if the staff believed guests owed them something. On the positive side, the cleanliness and overall environment were quite good, and the location was also decent. For its price range, it's still a passable option.

We booked two rooms, and they were spacious enough. It was quiet at night, which was great for sleeping. The location is excellent; we could walk to Akihabara, and the hotel is very close to the subway station. The breakfast was also quite good and substantial. Laundry facilities are available for a fee.

The double room is small but functional — it can fit two 28-inch suitcases and two small carry-ons while still leaving enough space to move around comfortably if you’re traveling solo. It may feel a bit tight for two people. The lobby is lovely and well-equipped with all the amenities you might need. Best of all, it’s only a 2-minute walk to the Asakusa View Hotel, where you can conveniently catch the airport limousine bus to both NRT and HND airports. Overall, a practical and well-located stay.

It's right next to Akasaka-Mitsuke station (access to 5 lines, including 2 most convenient Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line). The airport limousine bus stop is right on the other side of the station. We stay here nearly every single time we visit Tokyo. There's complimentary coffee and tea in the morning, donuts in the evening.

Excellent Stay with the Sweetest Staff
From the moment we arrived, the check-in was swift and welcoming—truly one of the friendliest hotel teams we’ve met. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though a bit on the smaller side—but that’s to be expected in Japan. The breakfast buffet offers a nice variety, with options that cater to both local and Western tastes. All in all, a great experience and we’d happily stay again.

The hotel is located up a slope right behind the TBS building, which can be a bit of a trek with luggage. Huge thanks to the fellow reviewers who shared the easier route – it was really easy to find! It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, probably about 10-15 minutes on foot.

I got a random room on the 3rd floor, facing the residential area, but you can actually see a cemetery from there... If that bothers you, you might want to talk to the hotel. The room itself is typical Tokyo style – quite small. The shower is a wet/dry separation. You can open a 24-inch suitcase next to the bed, but two suitcases would probably be a tight squeeze. I really liked that they offer local snacks in the evening, and there's complimentary tea and coffee downstairs, plus self-serve toiletries.

This is my second time to stay this hotel. Although the room is small but this is just nice for a couple. I am really love this hotel location as it is not a busy city of Tokyo and also not far from Tokyo. At the same time, the hotel street along come with many types of local authentic restaurants as well as the hotel downstairs do have Lawson. Highly highly recommended this hotel!!!

I have continued to stay at this hotel continuously for 5 nights!  That is how comfy they made me feel. Excellent service. I have made another booking and requested for the same room so I don't have to move and they have arranged it.Book for breakfast this time. A simple breakfast doesn't expect too much but is good enough to eat and start the journey of the day! Daily cleaning for towel changing and replenishing some items. Sheet changing will only apply for 3 days stay and above.

Japanese hotel rooms are famously small, and with two people and two suitcases, we really had to rack our brains to fit them in. One ended up under the bed and the other in the aisle. However, despite being small, it had everything we needed and was very clean. We had to pay an additional tax upon check-in, even though I had already paid online. The second hotel I booked allowed me to pay upon check-out, which didn't involve this extra step. The hotel didn't provide bottled water, but there was a kettle. If you're not particular about the quality of toiletries, the hotel provides them, so there's no need to bring your own and add to your luggage weight.
The hotel's location is excellent, near Hakata Station, making transportation very convenient. The meeting point for the one-day tour to Mount Aso and Takachiho Gorge was also right in front of Hakata Station.
Breakfast was included and served at the restaurant by the entrance. The selection was small but exquisite. Every day, I enjoyed a bowl of rice with various dishes, coffee, small pastries, and yogurt. It's a shame there wasn't any fresh fruit. In the evening, they also had an outdoor BBQ.
