Check-in experience: I arrived late and it's one of the hotel with automatic machines. There werent anyone manning the counter but I managed to get a staff to help. Check-in was delayed because of some issue (another staff came to support but was also unable to check me in with the machine). I would advise the hotel to have a separate system that allows staff to bypass the machine easily after multiple failed attempts.

Room size: I was travelling alone for work so the room size is fine for me (typical Tokyo hotel). The toilet was larger than some hotels in Tokyo and I appreciate that a lot. However, with an additional opened luggage, I can imagine the room to be pretty tight

Location: for me, someone who had barely any time to go anywhere, the location was perfect. 24h Donki was just around the corner (5-min tops), Family mart just across the street, and a stumbled upon a famous tempura shop across the street (Ginza Tenkuni) which served amazing tempura. The Ginza shopping street is really a walking distance away (for example, it took me about 10 min to reach the flagship uniqlo). I love the location - away from the bustling Ginza shopping area but close enough for a comfortable walk.

Breakfast: Breakfast was good with really friendly staffs. It is a small restaurant so may get busy.

From Exit 3b of Akasaka Station, take the escalator to street level. Walk straight for about 3 meters until you see the TBS Holdings. Proceed toward the building and bear right. After turning right, continue straight until you reach the elevator entrance (please refer to the Google Maps pin for the exact location). Take the elevator up, and the hotel will be straight ahead.

had a great stay at the b Asakusa. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location for exploring Asakusa. The reception staff were friendly and spoke good English, which made check-in and any questions very easy. I also appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee available throughout the day, as well as the evening pastries and sweet treats served between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm. A lovely touch that made the stay feel extra welcoming. I would happily stay here again.

The facilities are a bit old, but it's not a major issue. The cleanliness and attention to detail are commendable, and the service attitude is also very good. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. There's a coffee machine and a waffle maker in the lobby on the first floor.

The hygiene and facilities are excellent, and the bath water temperature is just right – soaking in it after a day of walking is incredibly relaxing. There are steps at the entrance, but they're not too high. The location is really convenient, not far from several subway stations, and you can even walk to Tokyo Dome and Korakuen. The nearby restaurants, noodle shops, and cafes are all fantastic. The room isn't small, though the bathroom is one of those integrated units typical of economy hotels, which was a bit tight for my larger build to turn around in, but it was very clean. I feel like I'd stay here again. The free ice cream was delicious! I couldn't figure out the machine myself, but a nice young man helped me. I tried to go after 8 PM as much as possible, because earlier than that, there would be a queue of students.

The hotel’s location and cleanliness are excellent. Considering that you will probably walk a lot during your trip to Tokyo, the hotel’s proximity to the metro station provides great convenience. The staff’s attitude and warm approach were also very commendable. When I went to the reception to solve a small problem I had in the room, a lady at the reception accompanied me to my room and helped me fix the issue. As a negative point, I can mention that the air conditioners are centrally controlled, so the temperature does not really change even if you adjust it. Also, there are only two washing machines and two dryers available for guests, which sometimes feels insufficient.

The hotel location was excellent, central and only a 3 minutes walk to the subway.  The cleanliness of the hotel was very high with fresh towels provided every day. The room was well equipped with a kettle and a small fridge. There was no wardrobe, just 4 hangers to hang clothes on a hook. There was no storage.  
I booked a 20m twin room with large single beds. However, the room was 13m at the most. I asked the receptionist about this but all the twin rooms were the same size.
The staff were always very polite and helpful. The receptionist advised me where to go to buy a SIM card which was a great help.
There was a washing machine available for the low price of 300 yen which was very useful. 
I also paid for the breakfast which I cannot recommend. It was tasty but very limited with no variety. There were only about 5 cooked dishes which were the same every day - scrambled eggs, chicken in a tomato sauce, sausage or bacon, boiled vegetables and potato salad. 
I would recommend the hotel.

The room, though small, was well-designed, clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. On the first floor, there's a coffee machine, water dispenser, and a laundry room. Toiletries and skincare products were also available for guests to freely take from a display in front of the elevator.

For breakfast, you get two freshly baked pieces of bread and a small bowl of soup. While simple, at just 500 yen, I personally found it to be excellent value for money, and the freshly baked bread was delicious.

The hotel is just a ten-minute walk from Shimbashi Station. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of restaurants, big and small. Ginza is also less than a 30-minute walk away. The transportation is very convenient.

For Chinese tourists, my review should be helpful. First, in terms of location, I think the hotel's biggest selling point is its excellent position. It's a two-minute walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, Exit 10. Nearby, there's a FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and various restaurants, yet it's not noisy. Akasaka-Mitsuke Station itself serves about three subway lines, which is incredibly convenient. 

Regarding service, everyone at the front desk spoke English well enough, though a few spoke a bit too quickly, making it hard to catch everything without asking for clarification. However, they handled basic tasks without issue. The housekeeping staff's English wasn't as good; they also didn't ask questions and simply nodded to everything I said, but understood almost nothing. There were also issues with their work. I had an opened mask pack with only one sheet used, which disappeared after housekeeping cleaned the room in the morning. When I inquired at the front desk, they found it the next day, along with an AirTag I had thrown away. They explained that the mask pack was mistakenly discarded as trash, but I distinctly remember placing it in the hotel's basket (which contained the hotel's bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, and what seemed to be body lotion). I'm not sure what the housekeeper was thinking, but what I do appreciate is their ability to trace discarded items and retrieve them. The cleanliness itself was fine. Japan promotes environmental protection, so hotels don't encourage daily linen changes, which is perfectly acceptable.

As for facilities and amenities, I only had one bag and a carry-on, so the room size was just right for me. However, for those with large luggage, it would be extremely cramped; once a suitcase is open, it pretty much fills the floor, making it inconvenient to move around. The bathroom was a bit small, but that's normal for Japan. Toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste are in the bathroom, while other items need to be picked up from the front desk. My main gripe is with the drinking water. I understand why there are no bottled water in the room due to environmental concerns, so you have to go to the water dispenser on the first floor. Disposable cups are available next to the dispenser. I wonder if, like many other environmentally-conscious developed regions, they could provide a large, hotel-use-only water pitcher? That would be much more convenient. Having to go downstairs every day to fill up and then bring a cup back is a bit of a hassle, but it's not a major problem.

In summary, if I return to Tokyo without any specific reason, I would most likely stay here again. However, for those with a lot of luggage or primarily exploring the northeast side of Tokyo, careful consideration is advised.

The hotel offers both non-smoking and smoking rooms. If you don't have a strong preference, you might want to check availability for both. My friends and I had a bit of a mix-up with our dates this time, and we unexpectedly found a smoking room available for one night. We were originally planning to book a non-smoking room for six days, but because of this, we ended up splitting our booking. It turned out to be much cheaper than booking the full six days straight, as there was no non-smoking room available for one of the days, but no smoking room for the others. Plus, the hotel staff kindly arranged for us to stay in the same room for all six days without having to switch! 🥰🥰🥰 So grateful!

This is a great hotel! The best I had in Japan yet! Rooms are spacious, facilities are great and extremely clean! Beds felt cozy and had the best sleep! Great onsen experience and free beverages at the lounge!

Location walking distance to Hakata Station. Staff are extremely friendly and check in and check out process is by self and very smooth. Great overall experience and would stay here again when im in Fukuoka. Arigato!

The hotel service is excellent, the hygiene is impeccable, and it's quite quiet. They put a lot of thought into decorating the elevator area for visitors. The ice cream puffs are delicious. The restaurant that partners with the hotel for breakfast also serves good dinners. If you're booking this hotel, it's worth checking the price a day or two before your trip for any changes.

This was my first time staying at this hotel chain, and I stayed for 7 nights. I have to give it a big thumbs up!

The location is great, very close to Susukino and Odori Station. Tanukikoji shopping street is just a right turn out of the hotel. We booked three day trips to nearby areas, and all of them departed from Odori.

The staff were all very polite and courteous.

Even though the breakfast didn't have a huge selection, it was delicious. Both my mother and daughter loved it.

And finally, the afternoon ice cream was fantastic, just as good as what you'd find at a specialty shop outside.

If I have the chance, I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

We stayed for 2 nights. The twin room space was comfortable for two. The bed and pillows comfortable and we slept well. Facilities in the bathroom looked dated and the toilet seat was not heated. The bathtub cleanliness can be improved as I found some  hair floating on the water when I filled the tub for a bath. This was before anyone use the shower so I was very sure the stray hairs were not ours😖. 

The free 30min lounge service with alcoholic drinks was a very nice touch to the stay. There is also free coffee and tea at reception area.
