This is not our first time staying at this hotel. Convenient location, check-in. Bonus in the form of a drink voucher. Bed linen changed every 3 nights, water replenished every day (not all hotels in Japan do this).

Fantastic hotel! It's a bit far from the subway, but having Don Quijote nearby is quite convenient. The sparkling water provided by the hotel is delicious, and they even offer free ice cream. There's also a public hot spring on B1. Overall, it's a great experience.

I stayed for 5 nights. It's small but has everything you need, with a very practical layout. It's quite clean and the facilities are relatively new, including disposable towels. Downstairs, there's a bar and free coffee and tea. It's very close to Ikebukuro Station, with two Don Quijote stores and a Matsumoto Kiyoshi nearby, and plenty of places to eat. After the malls close at 9 PM, you can still explore the area. The Don Quijote near Ikebukuro West Exit North has a wider variety of items. There's also an Ichiran ramen nearby where you won't have to queue. A 7-Eleven is right downstairs, and the Yakiniku Like restaurant nearby is good. Compared to Ikebukuro West Exit North, this area is less chaotic. Considering the price, location, food, and shopping, it's really convenient here.

Reasonable room size and price for one person with double bed in center Tokyo. Location wise it is walking distance from Ginza outskirts and less than 10 mins walk from subway, if you want to go to the shopping area in Ginza, better take one stop on the subway. I visited in mid Nov, the room only has the heater mode, but Tokyo temperature was around 18 degrees, so I asked the staff for help and they bring in a dyson cooler for my stay.

The hotel feels very new, and the transportation is incredibly convenient. The price is reasonable, and the rooms are quite spacious for Tokyo standards. The bathroom even has a separate shower and toilet, which is great. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and it's consistently excellent.

I originally booked another 'the b' hotel, but that one was too far away, up a hill from the subway station, with no convenience stores nearby, and it looked quite old. Walking back at night felt rather quiet and a bit eerie, and it seemed to be full of Indonesian guests. So, I switched back to this hotel.

 The environment here is still superb. It's incredibly convenient for the subway station, just a couple of turns and about 100-200 meters away. The street below is also very lively with plenty of food options. Akasaka Station is also conveniently located for getting to all the attractions.

Every night when you return, there are small desserts. During my previous stay, they had different ones, but these two times it's been donuts, haha. I look forward to seeing what else they'll have next time!

Although it's a little bit pricier, I highly recommend this hotel. It feels safe for solo travelers, and the transportation is exceptionally convenient.

It was a bit hard to find for first-timers and not very friendly if you have a lot of luggage. Once you get used to the area, you'll find this hotel quite good. Several subway exits are about a ten-minute walk away, and there's a community night garden performance. Breakfast is mostly Western style, and there are many foreign guests. In the evening, there are also small snacks, limited to 1-2 per person, on the honor system. Remember to maintain a good image when traveling. Coffee and tea are always available.

Excellent Stay with the Sweetest Staff
From the moment we arrived, the check-in was swift and welcoming—truly one of the friendliest hotel teams we’ve met. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though a bit on the smaller side—but that’s to be expected in Japan. The breakfast buffet offers a nice variety, with options that cater to both local and Western tastes. All in all, a great experience and we’d happily stay again.

Cleanliness: Good. Towels and disposable amenities are refreshed daily, and bed linen is changed every three days.

Location: It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Akihabara, and just a few minutes from other subway stations!

Service: Absolutely excellent. Don't worry if you don't speak Japanese; they can also assist with mailing and luggage storage.

Amenities: There's a bathtub!! After a long day of exploring, a hot bath is incredibly relaxing. The only minor drawback is the hairdryer isn't very powerful, but it's manageable.

The complimentary coffee and water was very helpful.

The location is good, but it's a shame that there are only stairs to the lobby.

I wish they'd at least install a ramp.

The location is incredibly convenient. Turning right about ten meters from the hotel entrance, you'll find a small alley with many great restaurants, including soup curry and yakiniku spots. Popular eateries are all within a 15-minute walk. It's also close to the airport shuttle, which is really handy because we didn't have to drag our luggage on the subway and then transfer to the airport JR when we left. Plus, I unexpectedly discovered that the hotel's apple tea is absolutely delicious!

Japanese hotel rooms are famously small, and with two people and two suitcases, we really had to rack our brains to fit them in. One ended up under the bed and the other in the aisle. However, despite being small, it had everything we needed and was very clean. We had to pay an additional tax upon check-in, even though I had already paid online. The second hotel I booked allowed me to pay upon check-out, which didn't involve this extra step. The hotel didn't provide bottled water, but there was a kettle. If you're not particular about the quality of toiletries, the hotel provides them, so there's no need to bring your own and add to your luggage weight.
The hotel's location is excellent, near Hakata Station, making transportation very convenient. The meeting point for the one-day tour to Mount Aso and Takachiho Gorge was also right in front of Hakata Station.
Breakfast was included and served at the restaurant by the entrance. The selection was small but exquisite. Every day, I enjoyed a bowl of rice with various dishes, coffee, small pastries, and yogurt. It's a shame there wasn't any fresh fruit. In the evening, they also had an outdoor BBQ.
