We had a wonderful stay at Asakusa Tobu Hotel Tokyo! The hotel is in a fantastic location, very convenient for exploring Tokyo, with Asakusa Station and many attractions just a short walk away.

The room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the convenience of having restaurants, shops and sightseeing spots nearby.

Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. We would definitely choose Asakusa Tobu Hotel again on our next trip to Tokyo. Highly recommended! 🇯🇵❤️

When cherry blossom season coincides with an exhibition, I have to say that flight and hotel prices are quite high, and many hotels are fully booked. After a lot of searching, I managed to snag a room (probably due to a cancellation). The location is a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, which isn't far, but there's a steep slope. If it's raining and you have luggage, it might be a bit challenging. However, it's very convenient for getting around, whether to the two major airports or JR lines. There are malls for dining, and a 7-Eleven nearby for daily needs. Right next door to the hotel is a Montbell store, so if you need anything, you can pop in and grab some everyday wear.

The hotel's location is excellent, just 480 meters from the subway station, with the famous Skytree visible from nearby. The hotel lobby is grand and opulent, giving off a luxurious vibe. Even though the hotel has over 20 floors, the four elevators run simultaneously, so there's never a wait. While the rooms are not huge and show some signs of age, the layout is practical and very functional. The service is exceptional; the front desk staff are warm and attentive, and they processed my check-in quickly even before the official check-in time. When I requested an extra blanket, it was delivered within minutes. Housekeeping cleans daily, and the staff are always cheerful and courteous. There are several convenience stores near the hotel, and numerous restaurants are less than a 5-minute walk away. You can also find high-end and mid-range shopping malls in the vicinity. Best of all, the subway offers multiple lines, making transportation incredibly convenient.

We had a great stay at the hotel a great location . Would go back again if in Tokyo.
As it’s the peak season so asking for an extra pillow was a challenge. We only got one after 3 days . But not a real issue. 
Mayb could get extra firm pillows for the guests they will appreciate that.

Service: This is my second stay here, and it's the most convenient place for layovers in Narita! 

The free airport shuttle runs frequently, almost every 20-30 minutes, and the drivers even help with luggage.

It's great value for three people, costing less than 400 yuan a night on weekdays. If you want to eat, you can take the shuttle to T1 or T2, which have many options.

There's also a shuttle to the Aeon Mall in the city, but it only runs four times a day from 11 AM to the afternoon. We didn't manage to catch it, so we didn't experience it.

Facilities: You can't tell it's an old hotel; it's very well-maintained. Toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and razors can be picked up on the first floor. Make sure to grab them at night, as you can't get them in the morning.

There's also a drugstore and a FamilyMart on the first floor. Prices are normal, and FamilyMart is well-stocked with popular puddings and various drinks, and it's open 24 hours. The drugstore is open from 1:30 PM to 10 PM.

Room is tiny, but the bathroom is of a nice size. If you have a suitcase, there would be no space to open it up. I was staying only for a night and luckily only had a backpack. The TV volume is loud even at the minimal. Love the controls on the pad next to the bed. Room is clean, with nice view of the city. Service at check-in was very friendly, but early check-in is not allowed. Sufficient amount of amenities provided, including pyjama. There is a small fridge and safe in the room. Breakfast is provided in a restaurant outside of the hotel (but same building) the spread is small but tasty enough. I would stay again for short work trips to this part of town. 
Also there is a combini and some restaurants in the same building as the hotel.
