GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Merkur, and I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and ensured my check-in process was quick and seamless. The hotel lobby was inviting and beautifully decorated, setting the tone for the rest of my stay.
My room was absolutely fantastic – spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was spotless, and I loved the toiletries provided.
The hotel’s location was perfect, situated close to the interlaken west station and local shops, making it easy to explore the area. I also enjoyed the morning breakfast in the restaurant, and the food exceeded my expectations – delicious, fresh, and served with excellent service.
Overall, I had a truly memorable stay at hotel Merkur, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and high-quality hotel experience.
I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

TTheotoroAll hotel staff that I met were extremely friendly. Room was clean, windows opened to give fresh and cool air to the room which is necessary due to the lack of air conditioning. Fan is available to circulate the air. Bed is comfortable, and there’s a shoe horn in the room! Water pressure is average and TV is not smart, but who needs a TV when you’ve got such a great view from the balcony

IInFiNiTy BenZHotel Krebs is very conveniently located, just about a 3-minute walk from the train station, making it extremely easy to reach even with luggage. This was another lovely stay at Hotel Krebs, and it felt great to return once again.
The staff were as kind and welcoming as ever, with consistently warm hospitality that made the stay very comfortable and familiar.
Guests staying at the hotel receive a 10% discount at the hotel’s restaurant, which is also a well-known and popular restaurant among locals. The food quality and atmosphere make it well worth dining there.
In addition, the hotel offers discounts on various activities in Interlaken, which is a nice benefit for travelers planning to explore the area.

CChunleitamInterlaken is a popular transit hub in Switzerland, and this hostel is right next to Interlaken Ost station, making the transportation super convenient. It's also massive, the largest hostel I've ever stayed in.
I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm. The room space was decent, but there were no privacy curtains, which meant privacy was just okay. You have to make your own bed, and when checking out, you also need to strip the sheets and take them to the front desk. There weren't enough power outlets, and the one at my bunk was broken. The room has a sink, but no private bathroom; you have to go to the shared facilities on each floor for the toilet and shower. You need to pay a deposit for a hairdryer.
The ground floor of the hostel is a restaurant. There's no kitchen or utensils (they only provide disposable cutlery for a fee), just a pantry (on the 2nd floor) with tables, chairs, a kettle, and a microwave. The hostel offers breakfast, which is a real luxury in high-priced Switzerland! There's a large Coop supermarket opposite the hostel (and the station).
The staff weren't overly enthusiastic, and while it attracts travelers from all over the world, the overall atmosphere was just average. However, its excellent location makes it a worthwhile place to stay.

맂맂으The hotel is very close to Interlaken West Station, which made transportation very convenient. The facilities were excellent and very well maintained. The owner was also very kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The price was very reasonable for the quality and location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Switzerland next time. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Interlaken!

GGuest UserHotel is dated and with very basic amenities. Read some reviews that room slippers are not provided so I bought my own. Beds & pillows are comfy and blankets are warm enough to keep us warm.
Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast is awesome with quite a decent spread.
There's a bus-stop right in front of the hotel, where you can take to go to Interlaken Ost.
Shout-out to the reception, Ms Linh, who was super helpful in assisting us with our inquiries abt transportation & sightseeing spots.

The room service was great! It was always kept up to date and cleaned!
I would definitely recommend, it’s 10 mins walk away from the Interlaken OST, coop supermarket, 10 minutes walk from Interlaken central cut across to eatery places (like Chinese, Indian, western cuisine, and even macdonalds ) !
Hotel view was wonderful too!

Wwvnd3rl12Stayed at twin deluxe room which is newly renovated and on the higher floors. Chose this specific twin room because of its size.
Pros:
1. Hotel staff were friendly both at reception and breakfast
2. Rooms were fairly large and modern, views were incredibly (ask for mountain facing room)
3. They will give you an Interlaken guest card.
4. Location is about 7-10 mins walk from Interlaken West Station and surrounded by high-end shops.
5. There's free self-service coffee and tea making area at one of the floors and its helpful if you have a jug/bottle to fill cold/hot water
Cons:
1. Same breakfast everyday and it lacked variety
2. No kettle nor cups to make hot drinks (notice this is the case with hotels in Switzerland
3. TV channels were mostly in German language

GGuest UserFacilities: Absolutely loved the room, it was an unexpected delight. It was spacious, almost like a mini-suite, with a charming old European house vibe. The building itself is historic, filled with antique items. The decor was very comfortable, and the bed was great. The room had multiple balconies and windows with mountain views, and even old-fashioned keys, all contributing to a very reassuring atmosphere. There's also a public common area on the first floor where you can eat food brought from outside.
Breakfast was good, very Swiss.
Cleanliness: Very clean, especially the bathroom. Compared to other old houses I've stayed in, there weren't many insects here. It was cleaned daily.
Environment: It's very close to the East Station, but actually only a twenty-minute walk to the West Station, making it super convenient to get to the town's main attractions and shopping areas. It's also very quiet.
Service: The gentleman at the front desk during check-in was incredibly enthusiastic and meticulously explained everything. We also received an Interlaken City Card, which offers free public transport. Another lady was also very welcoming. One day later, a male staff member wasn't quite as understanding, but he still provided the necessary service, so it wasn't a big deal. It seemed like most of the hotel guests were Asian.

MMohamed ThavylThe apartment has beautiful mountain views from two sides, offering a lovely experience of Interlaken. The breakfast options are limited, but overall the quality is good.
The restaurant staff are very helpful, and the reception staff are extremely friendly and supportive. Special thanks to Christian and Hadeer — their warm welcome made us feel comfortable from the very beginning, and because of them we decided to book this hotel.
Their kindness and the smiles they gave us every time we met truly touched our hearts. Overall, we had a pleasant and memorable stay.
