Our last stop in Xinjiang was at the Intercity Hotel by Sayram Lake. We booked an Executive King Room and a Twin Room. The hotel kindly upgraded our King Room to a lake view, and we got to witness the most beautiful sunset over Sayram Lake right from our room! The hotel is very new overall, and the facilities are excellent. They even provide a hairdryer and an ironing machine. The water pressure and temperature for the shower were perfect. The breakfast selection was extensive, and there was no crowding or waiting in line. The front desk staff tried their best to put our two rooms on the same floor, but they were still a bit far apart, which was a minor inconvenience. On one or two occasions, the elevator in Block B wasn't working well, leading to a long wait, but other than that, everything else was flawless. Five-star rating from me – I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Sayram Lake.

A really nice B&B! **Amenities**: The room was fully equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating, a wet/dry separated bathroom, and a large balcony perfect for tea and relaxing. **Environment**: It's very close to the new Sayram Lake Tourist Center, just a traffic light away by car, takes only a few minutes. After verifying your ID (provided you've bought tickets in advance), you can enter. Turning right takes you counter-clockwise around the lake, and turning left takes you clockwise. **Service**: There's a dedicated butler providing one-on-one service. Whatever you need, just message them on WeChat and they respond very quickly.

We chose this hotel for our family trip with the kids, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. It's incredibly well-suited for families with children. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The hotel showed great thoughtfulness by providing children's toiletries. The staff were gentle, polite, and handled check-in efficiently, responding promptly to any issues. Special thanks to Lu Ye, Xin Yi, Ye Huan, and An He. The breakfast selection was extensive, catering to both adults and children. Its proximity to the east gate of Saihu made getting around easy, and the environment was quiet and elegant. After a tiring journey, staying here was truly relaxing and comfortable. We'll definitely prioritize this hotel for future trips with the kids and sincerely recommend it to other families traveling with children.

This hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the East Gate entrance of the scenic area. The facilities are excellent, and the bedding is very comfortable. The front desk staff, especially Alamati Beke, was incredibly helpful. He brought us afternoon tea welcoming snacks and even cut the melon we brought ourselves. We really appreciate his service. The stay also included a complimentary boat ride, and Sayram Lake is stunning. Staying so close allowed us to visit both in the early morning and late evening, which was fantastic. Overall, there's room for improvement with breakfast, but everything else was perfect.

What an amazing hotel! It's very close to the East Gate of the scenic area. When we were driving there, it felt a bit remote and we were a little worried, but then we were greeted with a vast view of Sayram Lake! When we checked in, the front desk attendant saw we were with elderly family and children, and not only upgraded our room for free but also gave us two complimentary breakfasts – so thoughtful! The hotel has dedicated staff to help guests with their luggage to their room. The room itself was large, clean, and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay! You can also order food to your room. At first, I thought the dishes were a bit pricey, but they turned out to be huge portions. Considering the quantity, the price is totally reasonable for a location right by the scenic area. All in all, I highly recommend this place!

On our last night at Sayram Lake, we checked into the newly opened Shuiyunshan Pullman Hotel this year. We initially chose it for convenience, but ended up being charmed by a series of small, thoughtful touches. During check-in, the front desk cheerfully mentioned the 'afternoon tea gift' was on the fifth floor of the adjacent building. Even more surprising, despite booking a standard twin room, we found children's toothbrushes and soft-soled slippers upon entering. The light-colored, fluffy carpet was spotless, a rare achievement for a new hotel, showcasing exceptional housekeeping. You absolutely must try the in-room dining; the food is better than most restaurants in Xinjiang. The young lady who delivered our meal was incredibly sweet – kudos to her! Breakfast was another delightful surprise. Xinjiang milk tea paired with baursak is a standard, and both coffee machines were equipped with ice buckets. New hotels often falter on details, but this one excelled with its attentiveness. More memorable than the scenery itself was this perfect warmth.

First, the nomadic yurts are nestled halfway up the mountain. A few minutes' drive up the mountain on the left side of the scenic road allows you to watch the sunrise and sunset over the mountains, the moon rise and set over the lake, and the night view of Sayram Lake—it's absolutely stunning. Second, the owner is handsome and welcoming. Their boiled lamb is a must-try, and the lamb skewers are also highly recommended. They're delicious. Third, the temperature difference between morning and night is significant. The yurt has a small stove, which keeps it warm, so I wasn't cold at night. I even asked for a bucket of charcoal when I stayed there, but I didn't use it all. Fourth, there's no place to wash. I asked for a kettle to boil water, and in the morning, I squatted outside the yurt to brush my teeth. I couldn't find a basin, so I just wiped my face. My baby, who wears makeup, had to figure out how to remove it at night and put it on in the morning, haha. Fifth, the dry toilets... One thing to keep in mind is that the grasslands are unobstructed, and you won't be able to explore the vast expanse of the open air. You get it? There are two dogs who can understand what I say, a fighting cat, and countless cattle, sheep, and horses. I even woke up in the middle of the night to secretly watch the night view of Sailimu Lake. Sixth, I brought disposable bedding, but I didn't use it. Not because I didn't need it, but because I was exhausted after a crazy day of fun. The high altitude and strong winds made me gasp for air when I moved, so I was so busy that I forgot about it. Seventh, overall, I recommend this place for those who are driving themselves. The scenery and experience can make up for the other shortcomings. After all, eight out of ten people are not satisfied with their lives. From this perspective, it's already great.

We booked the guest rooms, which are actually a “盲盒” concept where you get whichever room is available upon check-in. Luckily, we were upgraded to wooden cabins with two rooms each. Since I booked 3 rooms, they arranged 2 wooden cabins for us. Each cabin came with two independent bedrooms with attached bathrooms, plus a shared living room. We absolutely loved it because we could gather and spend time together in the living room. We even had steamboat there one evening, which made the stay feel extra cozy, lovely, and convenient. There was also a huge open area in front of the cabins, but unfortunately the wind during our stay was too strong for us to sit outside. In the evening, sheep were grazing right outside our unit. On good weather days, you can even see Sayram Lake and the snow mountains directly from the cabin, which was really beautiful. The cabins are spread across a large area, so you do need to walk to your unit, but the pathways are properly paved and easy to walk on. Our cabin was about 200m from the car park. Special shoutout to the staff, Hemu and Dan Ni Er, who were extremely helpful. They used their small transport buggy to help move our luggage during check-in and check-out. Since we were travelling with elderly family members who had difficulty walking, they also kindly gave them rides to and from the cabin, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommended for those looking for a different and more memorable experience compared to a normal hotel stay.

I finally get it! There's a shade of blue in this world called Sayram Lake Blue 🌊 Staying in this yurt, you open the door to this breathtaking blue that's etched into your soul. Standing by the monument, watching the lake's waves, with snow-capped mountains in the distance – every single frame is so beautiful it leaves you speechless! The yurt is clean and has a unique Kazakh charm. The owner is super friendly and even pointed out the best photo spots. If you're coming to Sayram Lake, staying here is an instant romance booster!

The yurt is at the north gate of Sailimu Lake. The location can directly see the lake. The boss will drive to the north gate to pick it up. The yurt is very large, even if it rains, it is much safer than camping. Heating is a charcoal stove. When you just burn it, you can wear short sleeves. It is a bit cold after the middle of the night. You can let the boss prepare some charcoal and wake up at night. The boss and the proprietress are very good. They can eat at home and experience authentic styles. After eating the mutton skewers, they didn’t have time to take pictures. The fried mutton should be braised. The mutton is very delicious. The sheep skin that was just killed in the morning is still on the ground. It is highly recommended to stay in the experience, you can watch the night view and sunset, and it is also convenient to get up early to watch the sunrise and drive around the lake. There are voles, sheep, cattle, horses and other small animals on the grass.
