This guesthouse just opened during the Spring Festival and was newly renovated, so everything is brand new and there's no need to worry about hygiene. The rooms are simple and unpretentious, not like a typical hotel, but very cozy. All the amenities and furniture in the room are of good quality. I was lucky to book this place; you can tell they pay great attention to detail. The owners are incredibly hospitable. We were able to borrow their electric scooter to explore the neighborhood, and they even took us to a barbecue restaurant they recommended – the food was delicious and inexpensive! Everyone also helped us with our luggage upon check-in. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jianshui.

Our stay was unexpectedly great! We booked two rooms for four people and the owner upgraded both of them for us. He added us on WeChat beforehand to send us the address, and when we arrived, he was already waiting at the entrance to help us with parking. During check-in, he explained the local tourist routes around the town and the guesthouse, and recommended some fantastic local eateries. We tried them out and can confirm they were truly excellent recommendations! He even sent us the exact locations for each place and helped us rent electric scooters. The guesthouse is new, so the facilities and hygiene are top-notch. All in all, it was an amazing experience!

We had a truly enjoyable stay at this lovely homestay in Jianshui. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, giving us a comfortable place to relax after exploring the town. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture. Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui. Highly recommended—we would happily stay here again!

Super cozy yard very nice person quiet and large room, close to main street and very convenient to everywhere. Thanks for suggestions and helps from the elegant hostel lady, like went back home and saw your grandma and family. Jianshui is also worth to go back many times, time stopped there and addicted to various rice noodles.

We booked this hotel in Jianshui Ancient City through Ctrip. Upon arrival, the lovely owner, seeing that we were older, kindly arranged a large room on the first floor for us. She also recommended several good local restaurants, and bottled water was unlimited. When we accidentally lost our room key while sightseeing, the owner didn't make a fuss or ask for compensation. The owner was very generous and kind; I would recommend her to anyone visiting the ancient city.

I had a lovely one night stay here, but I wish I had more days. The location is within the ancient city but in a quiet street so you can easily access the sights without being in the crowd. The owner is the architect of the place, and you can see the thoughtfulness and taste everywhere. The decor is beautiful but not overly done, and details are delicate. I had the room with a slide and it was a creative addition. The towels are super soft and all the hardwares are high quality. At night the owner invited me to drink tea with him and another couple who was also traveling. We talked about our travel stories and beliefs - it was a wonderful time and left great memories in Jianshui!

The hotel's location is very conveniently located by the North Gate and in a smaller alley thereof, so it's not noisy at all. The decoration is beautiful, especially the inner court yard is very nice with lots of plants and flowers. The service is great! The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room itself is nice with good amenities and nicely decorated. The only downside is that the windows to the courtyard can only be fastened through a shutter, so light and noise may still get in. Since it's an inner courtyard though, it's manageable. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants and Confucius' temple is not far. Would definetly come again!

The boss family is kind and friendly. At first, the children on the first floor arranged the room did not like it. Later, we directly upgraded the room type and lived on the 3rd floor. There was a balcony with our own. The proprietress must be a person who loves life. She planted a lot of meat on the balcony. She returned to the room at night to look at the scenery outside. It was a quiet and comfortable beauty. The children lived here very comfortably. I liked it.

I discovered a hidden gem of a new hotel in Jianshui! It's newly opened and there's absolutely no renovation smell. The lobby and public areas are elegantly designed, the rooms are spacious and bright, and all the facilities are brand new, including a smart toilet and high-speed Wi-Fi. The cleanliness is impeccable; there's no dust in the corners, the bedding is spotless, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area, making it incredibly dry. There's ample free parking, making parking a breeze if you're driving. The rooms are excellently soundproofed, so it's quiet enough to sleep soundly through the night. The front desk staff are very friendly and quick with check-in and check-out. They even proactively shared Jianshui travel tips and upgraded me to a twin room with a projector. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jianshui, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

Amazing.Words aren't enough to describe how grateful I am to have come to Jianshui and stayed at this hostel. Super clean, comfortable bed and location. All amenities you require are provided. I slept so well every night and conveniently walked or took the public bus to further sights. Not only the facilities are excellent, but the vibe created by the owner and the fellow travellers was so memorable and unique. We had so much fun and happy moments just chatting in the court yard, sharing our experiences and life in general. Everyone was so friendly and generous to share and give tips on everything to see and do This is not just a hostel but a place I will remember and come back often.
