Before checking in, I received a caring call from the hotel front desk and received a map. I followed the directions and arrived immediately. The location was easy to find. 🈶 There's dedicated parking and charging stations downstairs, and you can take the elevator to the front desk for check-in. The lobby also has plenty of scented teas and an ice machine, allowing you to make your own or just drink pre-made. After a day of fun, I really needed some water to stay hydrated! The room 🈶 had a huge floor-to-ceiling window, which was my favorite. I sat by the window, sipping afternoon tea and flipping through my favorite magazines. The bustling world outside, the tranquility of nature within, was truly amazing. The entire hotel staff was very polite and always greeted me. I bought a lot of local specialties during my stay, but they couldn't carry them, so they even delivered them to my room. The service was excellent👍. The amenities were all very complete, including TOTO bathroom fixtures, a Dyson hair dryer with both a curling and direct-drying accessory, a Sony TV, a Grand Mercure Xinda kettle, and a landline phone. Everything was high-quality. The owner truly puts his heart into the hotel. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the chili sauce was amazing. The waiter highly recommended it, and it's a must-try. There are also many other places to eat nearby, including long-established rice noodle shops, delicious Jianshui barbecue, and specialty shops.

This hotel, which just opened last year, features an all-wood interior design, giving it a classic, antique feel similar to an old mansion. It's three stories high with a limited number of rooms. Personally, I found the indoor lighting a bit dim; perhaps that's just because I prefer bright rooms. The hotel is located at the end of a municipal road, surrounded by local residential houses, so the visual surroundings are just okay. However, it does have an underground parking lot, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and comfortable, with luxurious and well-thought-out decor. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's definitely sufficient, offering local specialties like extra-large bowls of rice noodles, along with milk, coffee, fruit, and yogurt. The restaurant service was quite good.

A very satisfying experience, very cost-effective, I didn't expect it to be so good before I checked in! Unexpectedly, the hotels in the county are not inferior to the luxury hotels in Kunming. The front desk staff was very nice. I arrived early at 11 a.m. and was given a room. I took the train in the afternoon and was given a late check-out at 13:40. I booked a special large bed room. The room is very newly decorated and well-equipped. The electric windows and electric toilet are very useful. The hot shower was great. I had a big bowl of rice noodles for breakfast. In addition, the location of the hotel is very good, close to the ancient city, only a 10-minute walk away, and a step away from the small train station. All in all, it was a perfect stay. Next time I come to Jianshui, I will stay here again.

This guesthouse is nestled within a charming, antique-style academy, and our room was exquisitely decorated, fully equipped, and spotlessly clean. The mushroom noodle soup for breakfast was delicious. The service was incredibly thoughtful; the staff called us in advance to arrange pick-up from the station and also organized drop-off when we left. The gift from the owner before we departed was a lovely touch, especially the traditional thread-bound book made by the academy, personalized with our child's name – it was such a pleasant surprise. It's clear the owner is a person of great sentiment and poetic spirit. The courtyard is well-connected, with the Calligraphers Association next door, a library, and a lecture hall. You can enjoy a quiet read in the library. Our ground-floor room even had a private entrance garden where guests could enjoy tea under the moonlight. When booking, looking at other people's photos of the dimly lit nights, I initially thought it might be a gloomy old landlord's house, but experiencing it firsthand far exceeded my expectations! It's a Chinese courtyard with a wonderful cultural atmosphere. The frangipani trees in the courtyard are abundant and fragrant, the pomegranate and jujube trees are laden with fruit, and sometimes little cats appear to keep you company while reading. The guesthouse is located within the ancient city, offering tranquility amidst the bustle. Stepping out, you're right on the old street, with bun shops, restaurants, and local specialty stores readily available – it's very convenient and full of local charm. My husband bought a long-coveted delicate copper kettle from a shop right outside, and that very evening, we enjoyed tea under the moonlight – it was truly delightful. A short walk to the right leads to Chaoyang Tower, and a short walk to the left takes you to Lin'an Railway Station for the small train. Zhu Family Garden is also not far. Overall, this guesthouse was the most satisfying of the four places I stayed during my Yunnan trip, and my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in while traveling. It's clean, well-equipped, offers attentive and thoughtful service, provides a comfortable living environment, and is imbued with a rich cultural ambiance. I wish this culturally rich guesthouse continued success. Highly recommended.

A truly delightful stay! This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail. In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered. The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued. Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

The room is generally OK, the best thing is the mattress, it is very comfortable to sleep on. The location is good. It is very convenient to eat barbecue next door. It is only a 5-minute walk. There are also several large snack shops around. It is said that this is because there are many students from Jianshui private schools. The breakfast was ok, but there were too many people in the morning, and the hall for breakfast was cold without air conditioning. The wash area in the room is quite narrow, and the toilet is really small, which makes me feel like I am just shutting myself in. The room is not soundproofed, and any noise outside can be heard inside. The service staff was not as good as the previous comments said. I arrived at the hotel after 1:00 pm and they didn't arrange check-in yet. Objectively speaking, it can only be a quasi-four-star hotel, and its infrastructure and service management need to be improved.

The hotel is very close to the ancient city and Zitao Street. The decor is unique and elegant, and our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was rich and delicious, especially the cross-bridge rice noodles. My kids loved it, even eating a huge bowl. The small steamed chicken was also very nice. The service was attentive and considerate, and the owner was very helpful in recommending local specialties. It was a wonderful experience. Overall, my family and I had a great time on our trip to Jianshui. Highly recommended!

We actually came back to this hotel for a second stay after visiting the terraces, which says a lot about the overall experience. The location is fantastic, very close to the old town and right by a lovely lake, making it really special. The girls at reception are also incredibly kind and helpful, even if they don’t speak English, they do their best using a translator. Cleanliness was decent but could be improved a bit. We would recommend choosing a higher-category room, as the basic ones feel a bit outdated and less comfortable. Overall, a great stay mainly thanks to the amazing location and the kindness of the staff.

This time I came to Jianshui to play and really chose the right hotel. A very treasured old hotel. Although it has been a long time, it can be renovated recently. The facilities are very complete in all aspects and the price is very high. The young ladies at the front desk, Xiaoyu and Xiaoqiu, had a very good service attitude. They sent welcome fruits when they checked in. Seeing that we took the children and upgraded the room type for free, they were very friendly to the children, which made people feel very warm. Breakfast is really rich, especially rice noodles, light hats have many choices, there are particularly delicious peanut soup, small dumplings and sweet liquor, fruit is also very fresh, the elderly, children and we can find our favorite taste, eat very full. The hotel also sent a buffet lunch coupon, but unfortunately our trip had to leave early in the morning, and we couldn't experience it. I hope that we will make up for this meal next time we come to Jianshui. I tried the nearby barbecue last night, it was very delicious! After dinner, take a walk to Guangci Lake for about 20 minutes, and then go forward to Zitao Street. In the future, Jianshui will also choose here 👍👍👍

The room was very spacious. It also had Xiaodu, which I could call to ask for anything I needed. It was very convenient. The staff smiled at me when they saw me, which made me feel better. There were also robots delivering meals. Because I checked in late, I checked out today, and the hotel extended my check-out time without any extra charges. It's really great to have such a nice hotel in a small county like Jianshui, and the price is so affordable. The service was great, and the stay was very comfortable. I'll stay here again next time I have the chance. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. 😋
