The guesthouse is right above the bus stop. The owner came down to help with our luggage; he was very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Best of all, there was a terrace with a direct view of the Drum Tower. The wooden structure of the building was very unique. Pets are allowed; we brought a 50-pound Golden Retriever, and neither the owner nor the guests minded—it was wonderful! The owner's wife made complimentary egg noodles that were so fragrant and delicious—a big thumbs up!

It rained around the Spring Festival, and the mountain was very foggy. The winding mountain road to the hotel was slippery and visibility was low, making it difficult to drive. If the weather is good, the mountain scenery should be very beautiful.

Unfortunately, on the day of our check-in, my son and I both got food poisoning from a restaurant in the city, vomiting and having diarrhea. I am very grateful to the owners for their meticulous care and for running around finding a doctor for us and driving us to the town hospital for medicine. This is a trustworthy guesthouse where I can stay with peace of mind. In addition, the house is a newly built wooden building with a new shower and toilet. The key is that the upstairs mountain view room has a stunning view of the landscape right outside the window. This trip was rushed and I was sick, leaving some regrets. Next time, I will definitely invite my friends to stay at this guesthouse again and have a longer stay.

From Shanghai to Lijiang for a weekend, I chose Huiyue. It feels really a great choice. The front desk service is super good and super enthusiastic. There were not many people when I checked in, and I upgraded. I wanted to go out and play. They kept giving plans and directions. The hardware is also very good, the bathroom and bathroom are separated, the quality of the spare parts is excellent, the usb socket, the small smart home, is not one of the best in the price I have ever lived in. A bowl of powder for breakfast is also very comfortable. It is very close to the village and the main street, and behind various xx bureaus, it is very reassuring. In short, Lijiang is super fun, Huiyue is super good to live, highly recommended!

The hotel was new and very clean! The staff were friendly! I specifically noted that I wanted a non-smoking room when I booked! When I checked in at the front desk, I again specifically told them I wanted a non-smoking room, without any smell of smoke. It was like I said nothing at all. If your hotel really can't make it non-smoking, could you at least separate the non-smoking rooms from the smoking rooms? In the end, I had no choice but to sleep with the air conditioning on and the window open all night, which was slightly better than keeping the window closed. It rained and was very humid that night, so I didn't sleep much. I woke up with a headache and sore throat. What should have been a very nice hotel became a terrible experience because of this!

Our child came here for the village's Children's Day activities, and we brought the whole family along for a visit. We booked one double room and one twin room. The hotel is essentially a budget hotel, and at around 200 yuan during the Dragon Boat Festival in Rongjiang, the price felt a bit high. Advantages: Basic hygiene was met. Bottled water in the lobby was practically unlimited. The restaurant service was quite attentive; we didn't have time for breakfast, and the staff packed us some steamed buns, dumplings, and pastries. It's about a kilometer from the village's sports field, which is quite close. Disadvantages: 1. The glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom was poorly designed; the upper part was transparent, and there was no curtain. When someone was in the bathroom, the direct light shone into the bed, affecting sleep. 2. The facilities were somewhat old; the toilet seat was wobbly. 3. There are many farmhouses nearby, and the roosters crowing around from 5 am onwards made it difficult for me to fall back asleep… a somewhat unexpected annoyance.

The owner of this B&B was very welcoming and invited me to have dinner with them. I also tried the local rice wine, which tasted very good! The village is very beautiful, with an ancient atmosphere. The ancient roads, ancient wells, ancient granaries, and ancient buildings remind you all the time that this is an ecological museum! It is a place where people can relax their souls, a pearl in the mountains. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was spotless, making people feel very safe. The owner of the B&B was very welcoming and responsive to our needs, making us feel right at home. All in all, it was a very good experience!
