Hotels with Breakfast in Medellin

I recently stayed in this hotel and overall had a good experience, but there were a couple of issues worth mentioning. The hotel itself has a nice atmosphere and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the city. However, I did run into some problems during my stay. The hot water was inconsistent, which made showers uncomfortable at times. In addition, housekeeping was not up to standard, as the room was not properly cleaned or tidied during my stay. Overall, it was an okay experience with some positives, but the issues with hot water and room cleanliness definitely affected the comfort level. With a bit more attention to maintenance and housekeeping, this hotel could be much better.

The location is excellent, exactly in the middle of everything, walk distance to get the metro, many restaurants near by, 10 minutes walking to Provenza, easy to get to a a big super market where you can find all you need including clothes from Colombian brands. They are very good to help you with everything you required. We got a tour with them to Guatapé as they suggest and was a really good experience. The staff is so friendly and helpful, we didn’t have a metro card and they borrow us to used for all the time that we were in the hotel. They explained us where to go, timings, etc. in the place they have an easy metro map on the wall, that you can just see all the spots to visit in Medellin. The place is very clean. I’m very happy and for sure we will be back there when we come to Medellin again.

Excellent choice, fresh & trendy. Amazing view both from our room, roof top breakfast/bar area (mornings & evenings) also great view from hot tub & spa floor. - Complimentary water - Welcome non alcoholic drinks - Complimentary 15mins massage for 1 person at the spa (we added it to a 45min massage which was great too) - 8 mins walk to Santafe shopping mall (which has a grocery store underground) - Fully loaded fridge & bar for paid items - Buffet breakfast with variety of fresh fruits & hot soup & tons of options - Attentive staff at breakfast & bar in the evenings Special shout out to Tatiana & Andres & also a chef / staff from the kitchen who asked us if there's anything else we need when I was just looking around.

Dos inconvenientes el primero en el hotel me dijeron que la tarifa de tríp que pague, estaba errada en relación con la de hotel. En tríp la tarifa dice incluye tasas e impuestos y en el hotel decían que no. Lo cual generó incomodidad ya que fueron insistentes en esto.. Y en la madrugada 4 am hubo mucho ruido de la habitación continua. .

Overall a great hotel, but one drawback is that there is no electric kettle The room actually comes with a small kitchen with a sink and microwave, but it's of little use to me. Shopping malls and supermarkets around are very convenient However, the hotel entrance is in a shopping mall and is easy to miss. The driver I booked to pick up the airport couldn't find the entrance.

Despite nice hotel almost a brand new... Rooms windows are not soundproof and 24/7 outside car/moto noise in the room you heard😏 The matters is huge but uncomfortable l, may face sleepless days. l recommend atfer your checked in, take a pics immediately if something broke or doesn't work in the room for further the hotel denials. During the check-in they ask to pay additional $21 but never clear explanation giving definitely rejected to pay because they are trying to sell you a xtra travel insurance. If force you to sign a paper for rejection, sign it but ask a copy of it. NO on duty manager at the hotel never ever, even small issue at the kitchen appliance repairs took 4 and half days after everday my pushing them‼️

The service was warm and efficient, and they checked me in quickly before showing me to the room and taking the time to explain how everything in the room worked. The location is excellent if you are looking to explore the lively area nearby, so that was a big plus for me. It is near public transport as well, so overall I would say it is in a very convenient location. Beware of the rooftop bar if you are trying to get to sleep early, so I would suggest asking for a room on a lower floor if you want a really good night's sleep.

This is my second stay at this property. I really enjoyed my first stay and though this could be somewhere that I could book for longer than a week. I booked a double room last time and enjoyed my stay this time I booked a single room but would not return. The single room is a lot smaller than the double and I paid the same price as last time so value for money for this was not so great. View is great, amenities good, no AC and it gets hot in the room. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. The big issue for me on the last 2 nights was a club down the street playing music so loud that I could feel the bass 10 floors up and this went on until 4am. This was Monday and Tuesday night! So hot room as can’t open the window with the music, fan on full, white noise from tv at full volume and ear plugs is not what I’m looking for. I could not return if the bar continues like that. Previous stay no issues, first 5 nights no issues, but this is a big problem for me. I am so thankful I didn’t book the month I was contemplating and left after a week. A double room without the noise at the right price I would return.

A Comfortable Stay with a Great Team My stay at The Somos Beats Hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The main consideration is the hotel’s location. It sits on a busy street, so there can be some noise and activity around the property, particularly depending on your room and the time of day. I would also note that the property is not ADA compliant and has limited accessibility, so guests with mobility or accessibility needs should take that into consideration before booking. Overall, I’d give The Somos Beats Hotel 4 out of 5 stars. The warm staff, cozy rooms, and fresh breakfast make it a welcoming place to stay, with the location and accessibility limitations being the main areas to keep in mind.

Great hostel with a perfect location. 5 minutes walk to Provenza and 15 minutes to the metro. Bed was comfy and the bathroom clean. Hot water and WiFi were available. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could book several tours with the hostel.
