Hotels with Breakfast in Central Semarang

This was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait. They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time. The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there. For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived. Food overall was decent. One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want.

I always choose this hotel whenever I visit the area because it consistently provides a comfortable and convenient stay. The biggest advantage is its excellent location. The hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, making it incredibly easy to shop, dine, or simply relax without having to travel far. Whether I need daily necessities, restaurants, cafés, or entertainment, everything is just a few steps away. This convenience saves both time and transportation costs, which makes every trip much more enjoyable. Another reason I keep coming back is its outstanding value for money. The room rates are reasonable considering the quality of the facilities and the prime location. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I need for a comfortable stay. The staff are also friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever assistance is needed, making the overall experience even more pleasant. I also appreciate how easy it is to access nearby attractions and business areas from the hotel. Whether I am traveling for work or on vacation, the location perfectly suits my needs. After a busy day, I can simply walk into the shopping mall to enjoy a good meal or do some shopping before returning to my room. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and affordability. Its unbeatable location next to the shopping mall and its excellent value for money make it my first choice every time I visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

We just stayed for one night in Chanti hotel before continuing our trip to the next destination. The twin room we stayed was little bit cramped but it was fine for 1 night.  The bed was firm but comfy, the bathroom was compact & small. The lobby isn’t on the street level & has to be accessed from the drop off/parking area by the elevators. The staff were courteous & friendly, the breakfast was good with many local specialties, western and Japanese dishes. We also had massage in the spa, the masseuses were skilled and gave us excellent massage. Overall, we like the hotel because the location is in the city center and we can walk to the malls, shops & eateries nearby. The downside is the small room & bathroom, also the soundproofing isn’t good because we heard the people talked in next room & hallway.

Super super great location, close to Lawang Sewu, a mall, and a bus station. A cathedral and an army museum are within walking distance (tho you can skip the museuk tbh). Staffs are great, very polite, helpful, and quick to offer solutions. Quite loyal with the food and they provide water in the corridors. With that price, ofc there will be some setbacks, amenities are minimal, no fridge, no hair dryer (you can ask them directly), but they do provide water bottle everyday. Overall a great service and a pleasant stay

While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Everyone was friendly..Staff were helpful and polite..They greeted you everytime they see you..Some even offered to assist you even though if you didn’t ask.Service was simply perfect,no complains! Gym and pool were under maintenance.Construction was going on at the main hotel.Wasn’t aware of the maintenance till you checked in (Maintenance Notice placed on room table).Maybe updates should be reflected on third party apps or via whatsapp to avoid disappointment. Wifi was poor.For a well rated hotel,this was a huge letdown.Management & maintenance should look into this.Was staying at room 806.Not sure if other floors or rooms are encountering this problem.Ended up using data roaming through my 3 days there.

Great experience! The location is prime, right in the heart of Semarang, and the hospitality was exceptional. For art lovers, this hotel is quite appealing as it boasts an art gallery. And the food at the Fat Elephant restaurant was great also. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years, easily top three. Their attention to detail and dedication to service quality are absolutely incredible. I wholeheartedly and earnestly recommend this hotel to all travelers; they are truly outstanding. As for location, it's very close to Semarang's Old Town, about 500 meters away, making it a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to explore the old town's charm and vibrant atmosphere.

The best budget hotel in SMG in terms of price and location, it deserves 5 stars the service is also friendly there is a lift to go up to the upper floors the room is clean, fragrant, no cigarette smell the amenities are quite good the shower is smooth even though the hot water is still lacking, the flush is also strong highly recommended for the price of 100k ++

The hotel design was aesthetic and can see javanese culture.. Love it. My kids also love the hotel and the staff is really friendly. The service also excellent. Oh ya, the breakfast buffet is great and kids meal friendly . Will stay here again in the future 🥰🥰
