Find 4-Star Hotels in Central Semarang

Nice staycation at one of the 4-star hotels in the heart of Semarang, near Simpang Lima. It's a cool new hotel, clean, and has a strategic location. Right next to the hotel, there are plenty of food options, like Tegal goat satay and authentic Semarang Hapkie noodles, plus a Superindo supermarket across the street. I often stay at this hotel chain for business trips. The breakfast menu has a good variety, including dim sum. The only downside is that the rooms don't have wardrobes, drawers, or anything like that, so there's no space to store belongings. One more important thing: please offer more attractive big discounts so I'll always book through vendors like Trip.com.

🌟 Rating: 4.5 / 5 | A classic, well-established hotel with an excellent location and attentive service, perfect for both business and leisure! ✍️ Review: My stay at Novotel Semarang was very satisfying overall; it truly lives up to its international brand reputation, with all aspects performing above average. Excellent Location: The hotel is situated in a prime location in downtown Semarang, offering incredibly convenient transportation access to the Old Town (Kota Lama), popular attractions, and shopping malls. It's a top choice for both business travelers and tourists. High Standard of Service and Dining: The staff were exceptionally warm and professional right from check-in. I especially want to praise their breakfast – the variety was impressive, with a wide selection of local Indonesian flavors and Western dishes, all prepared with great care. Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Hotel need to be refurbished a bit, they dont supply bottled water as you have to get your water from the dispenser located at the corridors, a bit inconveniet if you arrive late and tired. But maybe good if you with family as drinking water is unlimited

Im quite suprise with this hotel. Value for money indeed. The hotel was clean and it is near paragon mall and other landmarks. Walkable to anything. Beside the hotel, there's a convenient store for late night snacks. One thing I noticed, AC is a bit warm, maybe its not working well. Reported it in the reception but after they checked it, it improved a little. They did not offered us to transfer to other room. Room is a bit small, max of 2 only. There was a strong smell in the reception area that triggers my rhinitis, I hope they change the hotel perfume. All in all, I would say, I will come back in this hotel.

During my business trip to Semarang, I booked an executive room at Dafam. The room was more spacious and I got a great promotional price. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the Dafam staff were friendly and easygoing. Overall, everything was excellent. They've even upgraded the rooms with smart TVs now, so there are more channels and you can watch YouTube. I hope they always have discounts available, and I'll definitely stay at Dafam again if I visit Semarang in the future.

Location quiet good, not far from simpang lima. Reception staff very kind and fast response. The very downside from this hotel is facilities in terrible condition. Small pool, all the gym equipment is not working and nobody standby at the gym to solve my problem. Hotel need to consider to renovate their gym

This is my third time staying at Metro Park View and the experience was very good as always. The staff were kind enough to allow me to check in after 12 pm without having to wait until 2 pm because the room was already ready. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade which was really appreciated. The service throughout the stay was excellent. The staff were friendly helpful and professional. Since I stayed during Ramadan the sahur breakfast was also very good with a nice selection of food and everything prepared well and on time. It made the early morning meal comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean comfortable and well maintained which made it easy to rest after a long day outside. Overall the hotel atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The location is another big advantage. There is a Ramadan bazaar right next door which is very convenient during the fasting month. Around the hotel there are also many cafes and places to eat so it is easy to find food or just relax outside. Honestly I cannot think of any complaints or negative points about this stay. Everything was smooth and pleasant. If you are visiting Semarang I would definitely recommend booking this hotel.
