The hotel is brand new, with beautifully finished, spacious rooms. The lobby is also tastefully designed, with comfortable sofas that create a welcoming atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the service and management do not yet match the quality of the physical facilities. The health club is unmanned, with the spa and sauna seemingly left to their own devices. Guests have to ask the receptionist to call a staff member to provide towels and turn on the facilities. There is also no bench or seating area where guests can relax after using the sauna.
The rooftop restaurant is ideally located and nicely maintained, offering a setting that could be excellent for both breakfast and dining. Sadly, however, the quality of the food was disappointing.
There was also an issue at checkout. Although I had already paid for my entire stay through Trip.com, the receptionist asked me to pay again. Fortunately, the matter was resolved satisfactorily after a phone call with a more senior member of staff.
Overall, this could be an excellent hotel. The building, rooms, lobby and facilities have considerable potential, but the hotel needs much more professional and attentive management to bring the overall experience up to the standard its impressive physical facilities deserve.
