"Before my son started university, and to fulfill my 76-year-old father's wish to climb Mount Hua, we embarked on a spontaneous trip. Choosing 'Jian Shan Xi Mei Su' was truly like stepping into my dream accommodation. Its location, nestled against the mountains, is superb. The room design is simple yet elegant, and having a water dispenser was incredibly convenient. The courtyard on the first floor is serene and beautiful, while the fourth-floor terrace offers stunning views of distant mountains and sunsets. The rooms are accessible by elevator, and the owner's cooking is exquisite – the food and scenery are unforgettable. They offer pick-up/drop-off services from the station and to/from the tourist center, and you can pre-order dinner, which is fantastic. I highly recommend it to all my friends. Oh, and for those who want to try lamb paomo, I strongly recommend 'Lao Zhang Jia Paomo' – the taste is incredibly authentic, it's where the locals eat, and it closes at 6:30 PM because it caters to the local community. All in all, our Mount Hua trip was wonderful, and I look forward to visiting again."

"The room was quite new and clean. Housekeeping kindly provided several bottles of water, which I appreciated. The hotel is just over a kilometer from the tourist center, so it was very convenient to get a taxi. The front desk called me in advance to choose a room based on my preferences, which was a nice touch. They thoughtfully provided raincoats and gloves during check-in. My pants and shoes got wet from a rainy hike, so I changed in the restroom on the first floor. The front desk even offered disposable slippers, which again, I was grateful for."

"The room was fantastic, clean, and hygienic. I specifically booked a room with a view of Mount Hua, which was a rare treat for a family trip. I looked at many hotels and finally chose this one, which seems to be the best in the area. The front desk staff were very welcoming and explained everything in detail. There was even a concierge who specially drove us to the hot springs. The hotel is located southwest of the Baolian Lantern scenic area, about a 5-minute walk from the tourist center, so it's very convenient. The hotel grounds are huge, and the greenery is excellent. After afternoon tea, you can take a stroll around the hotel; the environment is beautiful, and the air is pleasant."

"We had a top experience. Tian Tian and her family are super kind and welcoming, they really make the guests feel at home. They offer pick-up and drop-off service from and to Huashan North Station, and to and back from Huashan Visitor Center. The hotel itself is vey nice, with an external patio overlooking the mountain river beyond and the cloudy mountains. Our room was clean and cozy. We had all our meals prepared here, and the food was extraordinary delicious and fresh. The structure is located in a pleasant village. "This guesthouse is our top choice when traveling with family. The location is absolutely perfect, right at the foot of Mount Hua, making trips to and from the visitor center incredibly convenient and saving us a lot of hassle. All the facilities are brand new, and the rooms are clean and dry, offering a very comfortable stay. What really touched us was the owner's thoughtful service: he drove us to the scenic area early in the morning, and when he realized my phone was out of service and I couldn't scan a QR code, he proactively helped me top it up, which was a huge lifesaver. He's genuinely warm and sincere, always putting guests first. Whether you're driving or hiking, this place is a perfect fit. I've already saved it, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Hua. I truly recommend it to anyone traveling to Huashan!"

"The homestay is run by a family, with the lady boss leading the crew. She’s pretty much OMO, and it will help if you can speak mandarin. And it explains why she doesn’t pick up calls at times. Me and my wife are Chinese by ethnicity, and we can handle the language, so it helps a lot with the arrangements. Her son picked us up at the train station and brought us to the homestay. It is a 3 storey building, no lifts, but well furnished, and overlook the mountain. Meals are not included in the package, but we purchased her home cooked food during our 2 nights stay. There is a menu for it. She managed to secure cable car tickets for us into Mount Hua after knowing we only got entrance and shuttle bus tickets. She also advised us on buying shuttle bus tickets exiting the mountain to the visitor centre. We bought them without incident on the spot when exiting. Complimentary gloves were provided. And on the actual day, she brought us to the entrance after securing all the cable car tickets. We were picked up by her son in the evening at the end of the trek, with the shuttle bus dropping us at a stop near the homestay. Communication throughout was via WeChat. We checked out the final morning, and she arranged to send us to the train station for us to continue our journey. Our thanks to her and her family for making our visit a smooth, comfortable and enjoyable one. 5 stars."

"This hotel is located in the county seat, with an excellent location, convenient amenities nearby, and complete facilities. It seems to be the oldest large hotel in the county. While the exterior looks a bit dated, once inside, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, environment, and facilities. The soundproofing in the room is excellent, ensuring a very quiet night's sleep. The welcome fruit and handwritten card were a thoughtful touch. The smart toilet was also very convenient, and the bathroom had a disinfected smell. What I was most satisfied with, however, were the gym and the Western restaurant. The gym facilities are very comprehensive and clearly recently updated. Aside from not having extremely heavy free weights, most common cardio and strength machines are available. The breakfast offers incredible value for money. The Western restaurant has a great ambiance, and many window seats offer fantastic views. The last photo was taken from the restaurant, showcasing the view of Mount Hua outside the window during my meal. The breakfast selection is very diverse, and the ingredients are quite fresh. There's even a fresh-ground coffee machine. The staff were also very enthusiastic, attentive, and polite. I'd love to stay here again next time I climb Mount Hua!"

"We had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was huge — with two queen beds — and everything felt very new, clean, and well maintained. Super comfortable overall. One of the highlights was the hotel transport service. They provided transfers to the train station, and also sent us to and picked us up from the Huashan Tourist Centre, which made our trip to Huashan incredibly convenient and hassle-free. The staff were very friendly and thoughtful. They even gave us free gloves and bottled water, which was a really nice touch, especially for the hike. Another bonus is the Hunan restaurant in the hotel — easily one of the best Hunan meals we’ve had. Great taste, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Huashan!"

"We took the high-speed rail from Jingzhou, Hubei to the hotel where we stayed on the first night in Huashan, preparing to climb Huashan the next morning. The hotel is very close to Yuquanyuan, the starting point of the hiking trip, about a five-minute walk away. The shop owner was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to introduce the precautions for mountain climbing and told me where to have a cheap breakfast."
