"This hotel is a worry-free choice for exploring the ancient city. It's just across the road from Paifang Street, making access to the scenic area incredibly convenient. Plus, it has its own parking lot. The hotel boasts a strong traditional Chinese aesthetic with a new-Chinese style, and the entire place is impeccably clean. All the amenities are new and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and polite, and the tea-tasting area has a wonderful ambiance. We checked in at night, and the front desk staff kindly informed us that our booked room type and floor weren't ideal. They then upgraded us to a better room and floor for free, which was such a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated! Our stay here was excellent, and I highly recommend it."

"A surprisingly good hotel! From its exterior and name, it looks like an old-school five-star hotel, but the rooms have been renovated and are quite new and spacious. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and professional—on par with Haidilao's service. They even provided complimentary desserts every night. When checking out, they prepared portable teacups and tea leaves as a parting gift. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shantou."

"Our stay here was fantastic overall. The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and polite, patiently answering all our questions. The surrounding area has excellent amenities and is very convenient for getting around. The bed was soft and comfortable, the environment was quiet, and it offered great value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone. Although it's near an elevated highway, the soundproofing is excellent, so unless you're extremely sensitive, you won't really notice any noise. The hotel is also very close to several intangible cultural heritage food spots, such as Sunan Qinji's braised goose main branch, Chaoludao Braised Hotpot, and even Dongshi Kaixing Congee – super convenient! The hotel's robot delivery for takeout was also very quick. Highly recommended!"

"The transportation is super convenient; you can just hop on bus 105 right outside the hotel to Nan'ao Island. They thoughtfully upgraded me to a room with a window. However, when extending my stay or requesting a late check-out, I had to go back to the front desk to reactivate my room card, otherwise, I'd get locked out twice, which was quite inconvenient! The bottled water in the room was Jing Tian, and the room card was already inserted when I arrived, which was great – I could cool down instantly upon entering the room in this hot weather! The curtains were electric and button-operated, and food deliveries were brought to the room by a robot!"

"The past few days in Chaozhou have been scorching, with temperatures at 36°C and a 'feels like' temperature of 43°C – absolutely sweltering! The hotel thoughtfully provided an extra power card, so every time I returned drenched in sweat from exploring, the best part was being greeted by a blast of cold air and a chilled bottled water from the mini-fridge – pure bliss! The reception area also had a fridge stocked with plenty of complimentary bottled water, which was a very nice touch. Inside the room, there were some local Chaoshan snacks, which were quite tasty. When I inquired where to buy them, the hotel even had an auntie bring us more to sample – I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about 100 meters from Kaiyuan Temple, making it incredibly convenient to walk to attractions like the Ancient City, Guangji Bridge, and Xima Road. I even walked to Guangji Bridge three times in one day and didn't feel tired. There are also plenty of food options and souvenir shops nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, and the pillows were very comfortable. The lovely ladies at reception and the cleaning aunties were all very warm and provided excellent service. Because the heat was so unbearable, I decided last minute to have lunch at the snack shop right next door. I ordered Chaozhou braised platter rice and pig offal kway teow, and to my surprise, they were incredibly delicious – tasting just like traditional home-cooked Chaozhou food. The pig offal kway teow had a light flavor, and for only 15 yuan, it was packed with ingredients; adding black vinegar elevated the taste even further. This hotel is definitely worth recommending!"

"This hotel truly amazed me. I'm quite picky when it comes to hotels, but this was the best one I stayed at during my trip to Guangdong. It's a newly opened hotel, located in a residential area with plenty of local eateries, coffee shops, and bakeries nearby, and very close to Mixc World. The decor is beautiful, and despite being new, there were no strong or unpleasant smells, thanks to their fresh air system. The environment is quiet with no noise, and the rooms are spacious and come with a fridge, which is very convenient. While the entrance isn't grand (perhaps not fully set up yet), inside it's truly a hidden gem. The owner is a handsome young man, and both he and the front desk staff provided excellent service. They gave us welcome gifts, which were very practical. We booked two rooms, and the owner upgraded us for free, helped us with our luggage, and even recommended local food streets and specialties. Anything we needed was delivered very promptly. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. There's free parking available, which is very convenient. My absolute favorite was their wireless makeup mirror – I immediately ordered the same one to be sent to my home! This is a genuine and honest review, hope it helps everyone!"

"I always prefer booking officially certified hotels for guaranteed quality. The summer holiday price was very reasonable. A driver opened the car door for us upon arrival, the lobby staff were very polite, and room service was prompt. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk to Longyan Food Street. I stayed for one night and had a very pleasant experience. Before coming, I read some reviews mentioning it was old, which made me a bit worried, but upon seeing it, I found it perfectly acceptable."

"A bit disappointed. I booked for two nights and couldn't sleep on the first night. The air conditioning at 23 degrees was incredibly cold, but at 24 degrees, my legs would sweat even with the blanket. The AC was also very noisy. I requested to check out after the first night at 2 AM and finally drifted off to sleep around 3 AM! The bathroom counter was truly baffling – just look at the pictures. It's normal for water to pool a bit after washing your face, I can understand that. But on the second day, when I was packing, I found the entire area around the teacups was wet. We hadn't even used the kettle or the tea set! After checking for a while, I realized the water was leaking from the faucet. The facilities here are just unbelievable; what kind of engineering team did they hire?"
