Had a fantastic and relaxing stay at this hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and amenities all provided for. Staff were friendly and helpful, including the young man who helped bring our luggages to the room, and Xiaoting who delivered the complimentary high tea set to us. Breakfast portions were very generous! In the morning, you even get to hear the oyster farmers heading out to the oyster farms in their boats, and watch them load the harvested oysters into their trucks.

The hotel's location is excellent, with supermarkets and restaurants conveniently nearby. There are also electric scooter rentals close by, perfect for island cycling. The room hygiene is good, and breakfast is decent. With only around thirty rooms, it never feels overly crowded, and there's rarely a wait for the laundry room, which handles both washing and drying—a real plus. Hotels like this are rare on the island; most are guesthouses. It's definitely recommendable. The front desk staff, Xiao Han, provided excellent service; she was warm and friendly. She even arranged a complimentary breakfast for my child and helped me coordinate the room for the next day. 😊😊

We had a great stay at Shantou Marriott Hotel. Room is clean and spacious and the seaview is so relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A special call out to July who help arranged a great room and friendly tips on places to visit. Especially appreciate her friendliness. The chambermaids, miss 吴, was extraordinary too. She notice that we finished up all the room bottled mineral water and top up extra for the next day... She even wrote us a kind note the if we need more we can just approach her for more. So sweet, Location is just minutes drive away from most must visit hot spots. Love the food from Longyan South Road. The main attraction of this hotel must be the breakfast. It is simply amazing. Most of the local teochew delicacies are here. From claypot porridge to Zhu Chang Fen to Soup noodle to Teochew Kuehs and many more. Just love the claypot porridge which I think they change daily.... With seafood, 菜脯 , century egg... Yes, we tried every one, absolutely delicious. View from the breakfast lounge is great too. Greatly enjoyed our stay here, looking forward to coming back again.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, showing great flexibility and support whenever I needed it. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities I could ask for. I especially appreciated the free laundry area – after three weeks in China, it was an absolute lifesaver! Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options every morning, including tasty pastries and desserts. The location is peaceful, with a beautiful sea view, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. I truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Traveling to Shantou with a friend has been a delightful experience, thanks in part to our conveniently located hotel. Positioned right on Zhujiang Road, we are surrounded by a vibrant array of local restaurants. Despite the bustling street outside, our room is surprisingly quiet, making it a peaceful retreat. Getting a cab is effortless, thanks to the accessible road. We are very pleased with the hotel's services and the spacious room; the mattress, in particular, is exceptionally comfortable. A unique highlight is the hotel’s robot, which delivers takeaways directly to our room, adding a fun touch to our stay. The complementary filtered coffee provided in the room was amazing! Don’t miss that out!

The hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful. Seeing we had seniors and children with us, they proactively arranged a room on a lower floor and even helped carry our luggage to the room. They were enthusiastic throughout, yet never intrusive. The room also had a sea view. Highly recommend.
