Stumbled upon this guesthouse online and decided to check it out before the May Day holiday rush. I was initially worried it might be a 'seller's show' (looks better in pictures than in real life), but it turned out to be 100% accurate to what was posted! Overall, a great experience. **Environment:** The guesthouse is set up like an estate, offering good privacy, so you're not disturbed by non-hotel guests or road noise. **Facilities:** The infinity pool in the room seems to circulate filtered seawater, which was very clean. It's perfect for taking photos at night when the lights are on, but it does shut off at 12 AM. There's also an outdoor pool on the first floor facing the sea. The minibar and fridge drinks in the room are complimentary, and all the amenities are of good quality. **Service:** The hotel staff were incredibly attentive. Right after booking, I immediately received a call from the owner. After adding them on WeChat, they confirmed my arrival time and whether I wanted the pool pre-filled, etc. Throughout my stay, I felt that all the staff had a great attitude. This is also a pet-friendly establishment. If you bring a pet, they provide a pet amenities kit with pee pads, diapers, disposable bowls, chew toys like Boryeongdan, and more. I brought my own dog bed, and they mentioned they also offer small beds. However, there's an additional cleaning fee for pets, which I didn't see on the booking page and only found out about upon arrival.

Facilities: Beyond expectations. The hotel is quite new, and while the public areas are small, they are beautifully decorated and very aesthetic – great for photos! It's a renovation of an old building, and you can tell some design compromises had to be made, but they've integrated it really well to match the city's style. Service: Met expectations. We arrived late at night on the first day, and the staff member guided us to parking and quickly helped us check in. He even remembered to give us a welcome gift, though he seemed unaware I had booked for two nights, haha. But that's a minor issue and acceptable. They also offer a complimentary 'sweet soup' every night at a specific time, which is a unique and excellent service standard.

This city-center hotel is my top choice for business trips. 👍 The location is excellent, making commutes a breeze. The rooms maintain high hygiene standards, and the gym on the second floor is perfect for a workout anytime. The self-service laundry is a real convenience. Plus, the lobby's woodblock prints beautifully showcase the unique Chaoshan culture.

My overall stay at the Shantou Marriott was fantastic! The room was clean and had a great view. I especially want to commend our butler, Yeli, for their thoughtful and meticulous service. Any requests were handled incredibly fast. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

This was a huge surprise! My impression of Ibis was still stuck on the budget hotels I'd stayed at abroad. This time, I booked it because of its location near a small park with parking available. After a three-day stay, here's my review: 1. **Location is indeed excellent.** It's about a ten-minute walk to popular spots like the Small Park, Niangniang Temple, and the Old Post Office. You can visit them during the day and then head back after showering in the evening – it's just a leisurely stroll away. 2. **Facilities are new and complete!** I didn't check when this place opened, but the design is very trendy and modern, and the hardware is brand new. It's definitely appealing to younger people. The twin room with 1.35m beds is also perfect for families. There's a laundry room where you can wash clothes for free. 3. **Breakfast is fantastic.** While not a huge variety, everything is fresh and delicious. The freshly made Kway Teow tastes even better than what you find outside, and they have the recently popular rice-less Kway. It's definitely worth the 35 per person price, even though my breakfast was complimentary. 4. **Staff service is also excellent.** Regardless of age, everyone is friendly, polite, and eager to help. They brought extra towels and slippers really quickly when requested. In summary, this stay far exceeded my expectations.

Choosing the right hotel is so important when you're visiting this city! This hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of many popular attractions, and very convenient for transport. The room was clean and hygienic, the bedding was soft, and there were no strange odors. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet. The bathroom facilities were complete, and there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local specialty snacks, which tasted great. The staff were warm and attentive, and even provided a travel guide. It offers incredible value for money, highly recommended to anyone planning a trip here!

With a complimentary coffee in hand, I can look up and admire the ocean view, the fishing boats going to and from the pier, the relaxed daily life of the town, and the windmills swaying in the breeze. The sunset creates such a gentle atmosphere. The desk in the room is spacious and quiet, and the bathtub is great for unwinding. The bedding ensures a good night's sleep. The pool and gym are good for relaxing your eyes, and the kids' club is far enough away not to disturb the quiet areas. Plus, parking is convenient if you're driving.

The Golden Leaf Hotel specially selected by the Shuangzhong Cultural Festival, the hotel is in a good location, and the team passes by the cross road in front of the hotel. Old hotel, good service, a pleasant stay.
