"This is my second stay at the Wyndham Lijiang Railway Station, and here's why: 1. The location is absolutely superb! It's only about 300-400 meters from the train station, which means a quick and easy start to a relaxing stay upon arrival in Lijiang, and a smooth departure. No need to tire yourself out. 2. The service is fantastic! I added the butler on WeChat, and they were incredibly responsive, helping me with any issues immediately. They even upgraded me to a family room – a huge shout-out to the little butler! 3. They offer self-service laundry and dryers, which many five-star hotels don't provide for free; you usually have to pay. The Wyndham Lijiang Railway Station is a pioneer among five-star hotels in this regard. For long-term travelers like us, this is incredibly useful. I really hope all five-star hotels will offer self-service laundry in the future, giving guests the option of self-service or paid service. 4. No need for a taxi to eat, there are plenty of restaurants right across the street. From now on, the Wyndham Lijiang Railway Station will be my top choice whenever I visit Lijiang."

"We had a fantastic stay the MountainTrip resort. Even before arrival they helped coordinate a private transfer for us to get to Shangri-La. They picked us up from the airport for free (which is a long drive). We also used their free drive to nearby Baisha. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities (fridge, free drinks, toiletries). The bathrooms were modern. When we arrived late they still offered us their daily tea and drinks. We had breakfast and a couple other meals at the hotel and always found the food delicious and well balanced. Attached a few of their daily menus. The family enjoyed petting and feeding their goats and ponies. They would give us food to feed them. The flowers were beautiful. Our stay will likely be a highlight of our trip to Yunnan. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff!"

"This hotel exceeded our expectations! It was the most affordable place we stayed in Dali and Lijiang, yet the service was the absolute best. They upgraded our room for free, and it was huge. As soon as we checked in, we were added to a WeChat group with several concierges. Any request we made in the group was met with an immediate response. The front desk staff were beautiful and gentle, always willing to help with anything we needed. They provided breakfast, afternoon tea, and a sweet evening soup every day. They also offer car rentals, which are cheaper and more convenient than taking a taxi. It was incredibly pleasant to drive around after visiting the sights, even just driving on the nearby mountain roads to enjoy the scenery. Since we stayed for two nights, they even provided free airport drop-off. It was a truly delightful stay."

"Excellent value hotel right next to the train station, literally 2 minute walk from the lobby to the station. Very good value, I paid a little more than 100 yuan for the room. It could have been a little bit cleaner as I found some dust and small rubbish in the corners of my room. Otherwise it was very good especially for just one night. Firm comfortable bed. Sheet had a small hole in it but that didn’t matter to me. Decent food nearby at the train station."

Kui Ran was renovated from a six-generation-old ancestral home of the Naxi and Japanese style, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters. It features two main buildings, two distinct inner courtyards, and an additional 2,000 square meters of outdoor space. The 160-year-old walnut tree in the courtyard is the soul of the place. The hotel has 14 rooms, including 13 scenic rooms facing the snow-capped mountains and one century-old ancestral home family suite. Each room is equipped with Marshall speakers, Epson projectors, Hisense TVs, Atour zero-pressure memory pillows, Acca Kappa toiletries, Kohler showers, and Jomoo smart toilets to ensure a comfortable stay. "This guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from Baisha Ancient Town, making its location superb (plenty of dining options and easy access to delivery services). It's also very quiet at night. When it rained in Lijiang, the hotel even had a billiard room, which was a great way to relax. The courtyard's flowers and plants are meticulously maintained, and there are several courtyards, a treehouse, and a viewing platform on the third floor, all very well-designed and perfect for photos. The rooms are well-lit, and you can see the snow-capped mountains just by opening the curtains; on clear days, you can even witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunshine' phenomenon. The hotel's food is excellent, and during our stay, coffee, juice, and tea were available on tap, all of high quality. In the evenings, there were small bonfire activities, and the staff were very responsive. The rooms are clean and equipped with washing and drying machines, and the staff even helped with laundry, which was incredibly convenient for changing clothes during our travels. I loved it; overall, it was a very comfortable stay."

"Extremely satisfied with my stay! First off, the guesthouse's location is excellent – it's just a 5-minute walk to one of the gates of Baisha Ancient Town. Secondly, the internal facilities and environment were impeccable. The room was spacious and modern. The staff member who checked me in was incredibly accommodating; they helped with my luggage and quickly resolved any issues I had with a great attitude. The cleaning staff also did a fantastic job, making sure the room was spotless every day. I highly recommend choosing this place! 👍"

"Five stars, definitely! 📍 Location: Absolutely perfect! It's only 200 meters from the North Gate entrance to Baisha, and just a few minutes' walk to popular attractions and food streets. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, super peaceful at night for sleeping, and parking is convenient too. 🏡 Ambiance: Even more beautiful than the photos! The little courtyard is meticulously maintained with lush plants and flowers. The common areas are clean and cozy, you could easily spend an entire afternoon there and not want to move. 🛏️ Facilities: Exceeded expectations! The mattress is just the right firmness, and they even provide two pillow options (high and low). Smart toilets and smart home devices make everything so comfortable – they literally have everything, making it even comfier than home. Everything is spotless and tidy. As someone with germaphobia, I found it extremely comfortable. I stayed for two days and didn't want to leave. I'll definitely be back!"

"AMAZING HOTEL!!!! The hotel staff are genuinely so friendly and kind!!! They picked our luggage up from the entrance of the old town and delivered it straight to the hotel. The hotel is only a short 5 minutes walk from the old town entrance making it very convenient when travelling to the mountains etc. there’s also a really friendly an adorable dog at the hotel!!! The breakfast was sooo delicious, you could pick from noodles to congee and the side dishes are provided! We particularly loved the sweet potatoes! 🍠 They helped us move our luggage and the owner was really kind to help drop our luggage off at the entrance of the old town again to save us dragging our four luggage on the pebble roads in the old town. Look no further and book this hotel!! It has a really cute rooftop too which faces the mountain but sadly during our stay it was very cloudy. Great experience!"
