"Five stars, highly recommend the Jishanxing B&B in Lijiang! This was the most delightful part of my Lijiang trip, completely exceeding my expectations for a snow mountain B&B.
The B&B is located next to Baisha Ancient Town, directly facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The floor-to-ceiling windows are absolutely stunning; I could lie in bed in the morning and watch the sun illuminate the golden peaks, a truly healing sight that washed away all my travel fatigue. The large lawn and pasture are home to gentle lambs and ponies that you can feed and interact with, creating a fantastic atmosphere for photos. Every shot looked like it came straight out of a magazine.
The butler service was attentive throughout. They provided free airport pickup and station drop-off, and helped with luggage every step of the way. They offered a lavish breakfast daily, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as complimentary snow mountain afternoon tea and warm milk in the evening. They were available 24/7, ready to assist, and even thoughtfully recommended local, lesser-known travel routes. They also helped take amazing photos with the snow mountain backdrop for free. A special shout-out to the young man who took my photos – he's really good!
It’s very close to Baisha Ancient Town and has free parking for those driving. It's quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the ancient city, making it perfect for both couples and families with children. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see the snow mountain!"

"An absolutely wonderful stay! As a photographer, I really needed a quiet environment to relax, and this place delivered. The view from the balcony was beautiful, and the mattress was incredibly soft and comfortable – I fell asleep instantly. What really surprised and delighted me was that the owner provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off to and from the high-speed rail station. They treated us like family, even sharing local holiday specialties with us. Although the weather wasn't great, I was extremely satisfied with the overall accommodation and my trip. It was definitely worth the price! I'll choose this place again if I ever return.

"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They confirmed my check-in details and the hotel's location in advance. Upon arrival, they immediately offered to help with my luggage and even assisted with purchasing tickets for the Song Dynasty City show (I didn't realize discounted tickets needed to be bought a day in advance, but the hotel managed to get them for me). They were consistently warm and welcoming whenever I saw them.
The breakfast was plentiful and, more importantly, delicious, with a fantastic view from the restaurant.
The room was spacious and modern, featuring a double vanity and a large dressing mirror, perfect for two women to get ready simultaneously. My friend was extremely pleased.
Initially, I was a bit worried based on some user-uploaded photos on Amap, but thankfully, the hotel's photos on Trip.com were accurate and trustworthy, not misleading. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

This place is a little paradise. A beautiful farm stay surrounded by lush greenery, with one of the best views of the snowy mountain we saw on our entire trip. The kind of place you didn’t know you needed until you’re there.
The animals on the farm are a lovely touch, and special shoutout to Dou Mi the dog, who basically adopted us and gave us a personal tour. An absolute sweetheart.
What really sets this place apart is the staff. Jason the manager speaks excellent English and went above and beyond with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. When we accidentally left our phone in a Didi, one of the team helped us track it down and we were so relieved and grateful. Little things like the WeChat group for communication, reminders for breakfast time, and even offering a breakfast takeaway bag for early departures show just how thoughtful and attentive everyone is.
The location is perfect too, a 10-minute walk from the old town but peaceful and quiet at night. Falling asleep to the sound of the stream nearby was genuinely one of the best sleeps of the trip. The only tiny suggestion I’d make is a small welcome fruit basket or drink on arrival, something a few other local guesthouses do and it’s always a warm touch. But it’s absolutely not mandatory and didn’t affect our experience at all. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% return."

The breakfast buffet also had a great variety. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance."

"Just got back from Lijiang, and Bantang Zuoyou was truly the biggest surprise of my trip! "I saw the excellent online ratings and reviews for this hotel, and even though it's new, there was no 'new renovation' smell. The room was clean and hygienic. I initially booked it thinking I'd just try it out and switch if it wasn't good, but the moment the staff opened the door, I instantly decided to stay. And I wasn't disappointed! The hotel's decor and layout felt meticulous and thoughtful, while also being incredibly aesthetic.
Inside the room, there were even three types of insect repellents: an electric mosquito swatter, mosquito repellent spray, and mosquito coils. There was also a weighing scale, and it came with a washing machine and laundry supplies. Plus, the surrounding environment outside is exceptionally beautiful. I have to say, the owner truly knows how to pick a location! From my room, I could see the distant mountain views and the charming close-up scenery. Looking out the window, it felt like the window itself was a viewfinder – simply stunning! The room offers incredible value for money!
This is also the most detail-oriented hotel or homestay I've ever stayed in. Both the room itself and the staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The staff's service awareness is top-notch; they truly went above and beyond to fulfill requests and resolve issues promptly. I particularly want to commend the owner – they are incredibly thorough in their planning, swift in problem-solving, and personally very approachable and friendly. "I rarely go out of my way to leave a positive review, but this place absolutely deserves one. I have severe allergies, and I'll start sneezing uncontrollably if I smell dust or any strange odors, but staying here was absolutely no problem at all. This is my second time booking, and I highly recommend it! The smart home features throughout the room are so convenient. Using Tmall Genie to play music, open the curtains, and turn off the lights works flawlessly – it's incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, not a spec of dust or any weird smells, and the pure cotton bedding was very comfortable. The hotel's location is super close to Baisha Ancient Town, just a few minutes' walk away. It was lovely to chat with the owner downstairs and enjoy the view of the snow-capped mountains. The butler service was also exceptional; they helped us with our luggage and picking up deliveries. The service is truly excellent, highly recommended once again!"

"The room is spacious and bright. If you're lucky enough to have a sunny day, your bedroom will be bathed in sunlight. The location is excellent, very close to Baisha Ancient Town, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the pasture, Yuhu Village, and the botanical garden, making transportation very convenient. From the rooftop observation deck, you can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The owner is super nice, and breakfast is included. Highly recommended!!"

CCM772800****I never thought I'd find such a hidden gem in Lijiang! Houyuan is a 'home away from home' that I'd wholeheartedly recommend. It's not just another boutique hotel; it's the owner's family's 200-year-old ancestral home! The stone walls, wooden beams, and gray tiles all retain their original texture, with a strong sense of design. Yet, the underfloor heating and smart toilets in the rooms offer ultimate comfort. The collision of history and modernity is truly stunning.
Opening the window reveals the snow-capped mountains – I'd call this the 'ultimate snow mountain view'! You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain reflected in the pond right from your room, and it feels almost within reach while having tea on the rooftop. My camera can't capture even a tenth of its beauty; you truly have to experience it yourself.
The owner remembers every guest's name and invited us to roast potatoes by the fireplace in the evening, chatting about Naxi culture. This 'feeling of coming home' is something a five-star hotel can never provide! You don't even need to plan your itinerary; her recommended hiking route to Yuhu Village is off the beaten path and absolutely stunning (PS: you *must* try the green chili sauce handmade by the owner!!!)
There's no hustle and bustle of the ancient town, only the sound of cow and sheep bells and the tranquility of the snow mountains. Riding horses up the mountain during the day, stargazing in the courtyard at dusk – this local culture, distinct from the busy city, offers a sense of relaxation that truly defines Lijiang, a perfect escape from the crowds.
Sharing a century-old home, a stretch of snow-capped mountains, and the genuine hospitality of a Naxi family – this is the happiest guesthouse I've ever stayed in!

GGuest UserWe had high expectations for this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. The facilities were good and general areas very nicely decorated. The service was also top notch as the staff were all super accommodating and helpful. They looked after us really well. What we enjoyed most were the free activities! We booked 2 nights and spent one full day just enjoying all the activities at the hotel! And the staff were super nice to help us plan a full programme for the day! We went foraging in the forest nearby and horse riding around the small lake. We also went on the Naxi home experience and then did art and craft in their little workshop. I had a really nice time there and would be happy to return! The only slight minus was that we went during summer and there were quite a lot of flies 🫣

The snow mountain view was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the golden sunrise on the mountains right from the bed felt unreal. The whole hotel has a very peaceful and luxurious atmosphere.
What really surprised us was how high-tech and thoughtful everything was.
But the best part was definitely the service. Every staff member was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to transport arrangements and small little details throughout the stay.

RRenjian1989I had a wonderful two-day stay in Yuhu Village, and the guesthouse I booked by chance turned out to be a fantastic surprise! It has a lovely courtyard, not too big and not too small, with an olive tree standing gracefully in the middle. A few cats laze around in the courtyard, looking incredibly content and not at all afraid of people. One even waited for me on the wall when I woke up in the morning! The guesthouse's location is excellent; it's right by the Yuhu Village Square, just a short bus ride from the visitor center. Yuhu Village also offers a variety of activities, making it convenient for horse riding and hiking. I really enjoyed sunbathing and feeling the breeze in the courtyard, chatting with the owner by the fire in the lobby, drinking tea during the day, and having a nightcap in the evening. I wish I could have stayed a few more days.

GGuest UserCelebrating my birthday in Lijiang, choosing Taohuawu Resort within the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area was absolutely the luckiest travel decision I've ever made! The overall experience was perfect. The environment was relaxing and therapeutic, creating an incredible atmosphere, completely away from the hustle and bustle of the city – just leisurely and free.
The resort's best feature is definitely its location, nestled deep within the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area, offering direct panoramic views of the snowy peaks. The resort grounds boast a massive alpine pasture with incredibly open views. The lawn is clean, tidy, and stunningly beautiful, with therapeutic natural scenery everywhere. It's perfect for unwinding, vacationing, and taking photos.
I also booked the hotel's travel photography service. The photographer, 'Moumou,' had divine ideas for composition and absolutely unbeatable skills. Their service attitude was exceptional, providing emotional support throughout. They helped me choose outfits based on my style, guided my poses, and even took me to pose with all sorts of small animals and even adult animals in the pasture.
Speaking of photos, the pasture is home to many gentle and adorable small animals like cats, incredibly expensive dogs, golden retrievers, and more. The most surprising part was the invaluable Akhal-Teke horses here! You can admire and interact with these magnificent steeds up close while taking photos around the grounds, creating a sophisticated and unique atmosphere. I took so many gorgeous photos here, every single one turned out amazing.
The 'Stable Starry Sky Snow Mountain Room' I stayed in offered an excellent experience. It featured a panoramic skylight design, allowing me to gaze at the blue sky and starry river from bed. During the day, I watched the clouds drift by, and at night, I observed the countless stars. The views were breathtaking, and both privacy and comfort were maximized.
The exclusive butler service throughout was incredibly attentive. The service attitude was gentle, meticulous, warm, and thoughtful. Upon arrival, they proactively helped with my luggage and guided me to my room. Any request was met promptly, with super-fast response times, making the entire stay worry-free and comfortable. Coincidentally, it was my birthday, and the hotel staff thoughtfully decorated the room. The exquisite and beautiful decorations were full of ceremony, and the attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming, making my snow mountain birthday trip exceptionally memorable.
The resort offers a rich variety of unique activities, such as tie-dyeing, mushroom picking in the forest, DIY fridge magnets, and many other fun and engaging options. Unfortunately, I arrived late and couldn't experience them all, leaving a small regret, but it also makes me look forward to my next visit even more.
The resort's ambiance at night is truly divine! The nightly bonfire party is lively and therapeutic. Everyone gathers around the bonfire, singing, dancing, chatting, and enjoying drinks. Laughter fills the mountain air, creating a free and joyful atmosphere.
The overall experience was impeccable. The scenery, service, activities, and environment were all top-notch. This is a hidden gem of a resort, a must-stay when vacationing at Yulong Snow Mountain. I've already highly recommended it to my friends, and I will definitely be back for a second visit to Lijiang!

From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking.
The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away.
What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

From the moment I arrived, Leo welcomed me with genuine warmth and professionalism. He patiently explained the hotel's amenities and facilities in detail and even personally escorted me to my room. As I do not communicate much in Chinese, I was deeply touched by the effort he made to translate our conversations and ensure that I understood everything clearly. He consistently went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and make me feel comfortable throughout my stay.
On another occasion, when I needed assistance with my charging adapter, Leo was quick to help and even provided me with the charger head I needed. It may seem like a small gesture, but it reflected his attentiveness and sincere desire to help his guests. He took the time to attend to my requests with kindness, patience, and a genuine smile, which made a lasting impression on me.
I would also like to commend Leo's team for their excellent hospitality. Their dedication and care made me feel well looked after during my entire stay.
The hotel itself is fantastic. The location is incredibly convenient, there is a McDonald's less than a five-minute walk away, and Lijiang Railway Station is directly opposite the hotel. Getting around was effortless, with most attractions accessible by Didi within 20 to 30 minutes. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and offered beautiful views that made the stay even more enjoyable.
Thank you, Leo, and the entire team, for your outstanding service and hospitality. You truly made my visit memorable, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang.

Choosing Tingxueju for my stay in Lijiang was an excellent experience overall, and I just had to share my honest thoughts.
First off, the guesthouse's ambiance is truly wonderful, completely living up to my imagination of Lijiang Old Town! The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and plants artfully arranged. Sitting there, sipping tea and soaking up the sun, was incredibly relaxing. The room decor also features strong local characteristics, with wooden structures and ethnic soft furnishings. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep.
The only slight drawback was that the facilities felt a little outdated. For instance, the heating in the room was quite slow to react, and the water temperature and pressure for showering at night were a bit inconsistent. I hope the owner can gradually upgrade these. Also, there was no proactive cleaning service during my stay, which can be a bit inconvenient for guests staying multiple days. It would be perfect if there could be a simple tidying up each day.
However, these minor issues don't overshadow the positives. Tingxueju's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere, and the owner is very warm and welcoming, offering many great travel tips. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful environment!

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
