"We were a family of three traveling to Himeji and stayed for three nights. We initially booked a Hollywood twin room, but found it wasn't suitable upon entering. After discussing it with the hotel staff, we were able to switch to a 27-square-meter standard room, which we were very happy with. The staff were extremely helpful and kept bowing. What we liked most about this hotel was its location. Looking at Google Maps, there are about 50 restaurants within a 1km radius, and it's only about a 5-minute walk from Himeji Station. In short, the location is unbeatable. It's also very convenient to get to Engyo-ji Temple; one bus takes you directly to the final stop. Oh, and a special mention for breakfast – 800 yen for children and 1800 yen for adults. It's definitely worth trying!"

"Best VIEW hotel (affordable price) so far as I tried many hotel in Japan before. Room quite small, wifi on my room not stabil and my lamp turn off twice without no one touching anything. It still fine tho. Abundantly amenities it was amazing! If you come to Himeji, I will recommend this hotel! It only straight from HIMEJI station and easy to find food nearby! Ps : my room space a bit weird. Hard to put 2 small cabin luggage. I hope only my room have this matter."

"Stayed in this chain of hotels before. As usual, service is impeccable. Monterey Himeji is ideally located, near train station, shopping and food joints. It is also quite close to Himeji castle as well. For those who drive, there is a private car park and there are staff stationed to help direct parking. Although the hotel is connected to the adjacent shopping mall, security and privacy is good - away from the hustle and bustle of crowds."

"Location is really good and central and walking distance from all the major places. Service was good because they gave us a different room with two actual beds, just make sure if you book a double room it is with an actual bed and not a bed and a couch. But great that they were able to put us in a triple room. The couch is not a great way to sleep, you would have a crack in the middle. But 4,25 stars out of 5"

"First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price! 1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not. 2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning. 3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F. 4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price. Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊"

"This was the accommodation I chose to visit Himeji Castle. The facilities were clean, and each bedroom had a TV, so I could even watch Japanese programs. There was also a co-working space available, and both the accommodation and the co-working area had manga that you could freely read. It’s only about a 5-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient, and about 5 minutes by bus to Himeji Castle. I also visited Kokoen Garden next to the castle, and during the spring season, it’s open at night as well—so after enjoying the night view, I could easily return to the accommodation. 히메지 성을 보러 가기 위해 선택한 숙소였어요 시설은 깨끗하고 침실마다 TV도 있어 일본 방송도 볼 수 있었어요 코워킹 공간도 이용할 수 있었고, 숙소와 코워킹 공간에는 만화책도 있어서 자유롭게 볼 수 있어요 역에서 걸어서 5분거리로 엄청 가깝고 히메지 성과는 버스로 5분 거리에요 히메지 성 옆 코코엔(일본정원)도 구경하고 요즘 봄 시즌에는 야간 개장도 해서 관람 후 숙소로 편하게 도착할 수 있었어요"

If you opt out of room cleaning, they still provide fresh towels and complimentary bottled water, which is a nice touch. The hotel is only about a five-minute walk from Himeji Station, and there are many delicious restaurants along the way. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely choose it again and recommend it to everyone."

"Room is small. Stayed one night and over the weekend hence the room rate was high. Also it coincided with the marathon. There was free parking which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel staff are not very conversant in English and it is not near the city centre. There was however a very big supermarket nearby where we could pick foodstuff for our journey up north. Came back to Himeji a week later and this time I stayed at a hotel located in the city centre where there are a lot of parking around it."

"Hotel was clean and super close to the station. Himeji Castle reachable by foot. Staff was kind and keen to help, we really felt welcome here. Room was small (as everywhere in Japan) but clean and provided with all the amenities needed! We would absolutely recommend this place! PS: They also have a cool onsen with a sauna and an outdoor bath!"
