"Mari Vista hotel is an excellent hotel, close to everything: beach, restaurants, bus stops to Seoraksan park or Naksansa temple. It is also within a walking distance to Abai village. The hotel is modern and clean. The check-in is at 3pm and you have to get a number and wait in line. The check-out is simpler as you just have to drop your key cards into a box in the elevator."

"Really enjoyed my stay at Kensington hotel. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Nearby restaurants closed early, so I had to have hotel dinner (not bad). Hotel is situated near Seoraksan entrance (walking distance). Absolutely stunning view of the mountain! Hotel's concept is intriguing!!"

"Great location! I stayed for 3 nights. It’s clean but they made a cleaning service only on 3rd day. On 2nd day, they just changed the trash can. It’s their rule. Good view! Luggage storage also available, so everything is okay. But I didn’t see other daily support like small lotion pack, toothpaste like other hotels provide. There’s only 2 tea packs and 2 coffee brew packs and 2 water bottles. But they gave 2 one time used indoor slippers."

"Ramada boasts truly stunning ocean views. The location is superb, ideal for a leisurely stroll after a meal. We decided to have breakfast on our last day and were pleased to find they've added pho (rice noodles) to the menu. My mother, who had been craving something warm since morning, absolutely loved it and ate it all up."

"We could checked in 30 minutes early and the front desk were helpful and informative. Location is good, near Sokcho central market. The room is spacious with nice views. Lot of varieties for Breakfast. Definitely will stay at Sea Cruise hotel if come Sokcho again."

"I'd known about Maremons Hotel through YouTube since the pandemic, hearing it was a decent hotel in Sokcho with clean bedding and formal service. I especially wanted to visit because it had a sauna. So, I finally came for an early summer vacation. The Ocean View Suite room was spacious and lovely. The unobstructed ocean view from the hillside was definitely the highlight. At 3 PM check-in time, a lot of guests were waiting in the lobby. About 5 minutes before 3, everyone rushed to the check-in desk, forming a line that felt more like a market than a formal hotel lobby. It would be better if they implemented a number ticketing system or allowed early check-in if rooms were ready, as the first impression was quite chaotic. There were two male staff members at the check-in desk, and their service seemed very slow, which was a bit frustrating. The room's cleanliness was relatively good, and the outdoor balcony was also clean. The TV was an outdated model and needs an upgrade in the future. The coffee maker was clean, but the teacups were so old and discolored that I was reluctant to use them for coffee. The male staff member at the B1 sauna facilities was incredibly friendly, which I appreciated, and the facilities themselves were well-maintained. If I get the chance, I'd love to visit again. I recommend it."

"The pictures really say it all for this place! It's a view-lover's paradise and I highly recommend it. It was clean, the coffee was delicious, and it had a bathtub, two bathrooms, and two beds, perfect for four people. It's truly a great spot to just relax and unwind."

"I spent three nights at this hotel located not far from the entrance to Seorak National Park. So let's start at the beginning by stating that this was one of the main criteria that guided my choice and helped me narrow down the wide range of hotels in Sokcho. I wanted to be within easy reach of the reserve since I'm a hiking enthusiast. A word of advice, though: take a taxi, which will likely drop you off below the parking area. This way, you'll be sure to arrive well warmed up before your trekking session. But I'm getting further away from the hotel... A second element, logically related to the above, if, like me, you were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to rest after your workout, you've found it. A true haven of peace... perfect for a good night's sleep, except in exceptional circumstances, since the first night I had a serious snorer, and since the walls aren't very thick... I won't draw you a picture. Breakfast is available by informing reception the night before. For the price, don't miss out. Room cleaning is also available, just request it in the lobby. The rooms are remarkably clean, although not very spacious. But the hotel offers almost all the usual amenities one would expect in addition to the room amenities: toiletries, free 5G internet access, bottled water, French coffee pods (be careful, there's a catch) and green tea... Unfortunately, when it came time to extend my stay by one night to rest in the dry - the weather is very bad in Korea right now - reservations were fully booked due to Chuseok - Korean Thanksgiving - a major family reunion event where ancestors are honored... needless to say, this is also the most difficult time to find accommodation and, of course, the most expensive for us as guests. Prices easily double. Keep this in mind if you come to Korea, and especially if possible, book in advance during the fall holidays. Unfortunately, shortly after booking elsewhere, a room became available... And where I landed, I quickly found myself in a completely different world, with a clientele and atmosphere that were the opposite of what I had so enjoyed at the Amaranth Hotel. So British in a very nice way...isn't it?"

"Perfect stay! The room had a wonderful view of the ocean and coast, we took many nice pictures. The hotel is literally in front of the SokchoEye, perfect to relax after a long drive! The room was spacious, we had a tiny kitchen which was extremely appreciated! Easy parking. The self check-in and self check-out were the cherry on top 🥰 I’ll definitely stay here again in the future!"
