"It's just average. There may not be any fast-food hotels in China. I just made do with it for a one-day stay. The mineral water in the room is in large glass bottles. I don't know what kind of water it is. There is no supermarket nearby. I just drank it. There are impurities in the water. I'm not satisfied with it as a whole. There was no breakfast in the morning. When I asked if there was any breakfast, they only served a pot of coffee. The only thing I was very satisfied with was the view. There is a private beach right outside the door. It's clean and beautiful!"

"We loved the proximity to such a wonderful beach, which was beautiful clean and undisturbed. The service at the resort was top notch, ranging the poolside personnel who took care of all over needs to housekeeping who were attentive and proactive in their cleaning and tidying. We were also impressed by the facilities - the pools were fantastic as was the buffet meals. Special shout out to yoga master Roland, who conducted a bespoke class for us and was able to cater to our different levels of flexibility and technique.  His manner also made us feel extremely at home - thank you Roland!"

This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.
"Couldn't fault this hotel. My room was upgraded to a sea view de luxe room and it was fantastic. It was well cleaned every day by Jinendra who also left an amusing 'towel animal' for me daily! Breakfast in the Palms Restaurant was superb, plenty of choice and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Sam was exceptional and went out of his way to get everything I asked for. Madhuka and Dimli also deserve a special mention. The SHACK seafood restaurant was excellent and good value. We also had some evening meals in the Palms Restaurant. They offer a magnificent buffet but we ordered a la carte and were not disappointed. We ventured outside the hotel for an evening meal on a few occasions (across the railway line) but found the standard to be mediocre and not that cheap compared with what was available at the hotel. The swimming pool was easily accessible (graduated steps) and the water wonderfully warm. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger after breakfast although many are obviously reserved early. The extensive beach is lovely for walks. There are sun loungers in the shaded area in the trees but these have to be paid for. The hotel offers a number of daytime activities and there is evening entertainment. A wonderful stay and I would highly recomment this hotel."

"This is definitely one of the worst managed four star resort. The facilities are nice even though we did not use them. The rooms are ok, but not up to a four star standard. The resort is not well managed. We had the buffet breakfast in the resort- when we walked in , there used to be almost no clean tables available. After I got the table, I paid attention to the amount of the time that is needed for the staff to clean and set up the dirty table ready to use for other guests. It was never ready even after I finished my breakfast. There are many other issues in the buffet breakfast. Long queue for omelet, coffee, and the plates for fresh fruits are always empty. The poor guy who is cutting the fruits is too busy to fill in the fruit plates. I thought the fruit should be prepared and cut for the breakfast rather than prepare on the spot. There is also some billing mistake (not surprised), although it was settled later on, but I waited for at least 20 min to get the bill to be adjusted etc. overall, the price is not value for your money."
