Cheap Hotels in Lagos

"During my 4-day stay, I managed to enjoy a bit of everything, from the outdoor and indoor pools to the sauna. There's free parking available near the hotel, so there's no need to use the underground parking (unless it's high season). The room boasts a beautiful view from the ninth floor, although I feel that certain finishes should be rectified for such a new, 5-star hotel; the balcony floor seems a bit loose, and the bathroom door drags on the floor. The area is a bit windy, which you can feel through the window at night when it's quiet, but it's nothing too major. Breakfast was 'average'; I missed having natural juice, which I think would be justified given the price. The pool bar also does a good job, and their wraps/sandwiches are tasty. The sun loungers are also very comfortable."

"As I was travelling alone I chose a large hotel with amenities. The hotel was very large and my room was a 5 minute walk away from reception. The room was small but for just me, was perfect. A good shower over a bath and complementary toiletries were provided. There was unfortunately no tea and coffee making facilities. I had a sea view which was a bonus. The indoor swimming pool and gym were small but were available if you wanted them and never busy when I was there. I sat round the outside pool which was pleasant but as it was early March I didn't attempt a swim!! Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and the staff worked very hard to ensure the food was topped up and the tables cleared and ready for the next guests. A lovely touch, all the ladies were presented with a flower on women's day. They used a hawk to ensure guests are not bothered by seagulls and pigeons. All in all a great stay."

"Reception is friendly, quick and uncomplicated. Willing to help/answer to any question/request. Location is fine as a base or stopover to visit Algarve (Benagil, Lagos, Sagres etc.) by car. Competitive price and all rooms look good with a view on the pool and the sea, good bathroom. Only downsides are that the room is missing some cutlery/dishes/coffee/tea, since the bar/restaurant is not to be recommended. Overall, when I am traveling this part of Portugal by car again I would definitely book here."

"The rooms are spacious, with a kitchen, and the lawn outside the balcony is shared. The location is excellent, right across from the sea. The breakfast selection is also quite good. There's plenty of parking, so you don't have to worry about finding a place to park."

"Was an enjoyable stay for early June season. Rooms are very spacious. Pools aren’t heated (but maybe in the warmer months this is not as noticeable). And rooms could be slightly cleaner and come with more amenities."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. The hotel itself does not provide on-site parking, but there is a public parking area about a 2-minute walk away. During the low season it was fine, though availability might be an issue in peak periods. Walking to the city center is possible, but it does take some time. The room was small but as expected for this category. I liked having a small balcony outside the window, which was a nice touch. I tried sleeping with the window open instead of using air conditioning, but unfortunately the AC units from nearby rooms were quite noisy, so I ended up closing the window. A few downsides: the exterior of the building looks a bit dated compared to online photos, and the desk in the room is extremely small—not practical for working with a laptop. Although I did not personally join, the hotel seems to offer or help arrange water-related activities, and guests who are interested may want to inquire with the staff for more details. That said, considering the price, the stay was reasonable and met basic expectations. A decent option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place and don’t plan to spend much time in the room."
