Fortunately, I chose to stay at Ruixue B&B for two nights this time, seizing the tail end of winter and appreciating the culture and scenery of the Snow Valley. First of all, I could feel the enthusiasm and friendliness of the boss lady from the phone call before check-in. She helped me book the bus ticket from Harbin to Xuegu in advance, and arranged the itinerary for Xuegu the next day and the ticket to Yanji on the check-out day. I am dazzled by reading Xiaohongshu, but I don’t have to worry about joining a ”bad” group and ruining my fun, nor do I have to spend extra time buying tickets myself. I can rest assured and let the B&B owner arrange the itinerary. Secondly, when we arrived on the same day, the young lady and her family were also very warm and hospitable. Not only did they give me a warm welcome, they also served me hot tea, which made me feel as if I was home instead of away from home. I could rest comfortably in the homestay, chat with them about everything under the sun, and learn more stories about life in Snow Valley (or just chat about daily life). Although it was our first meeting, I felt like I was happily getting along with friends I had known for years. The homestay room is warmly decorated and matches the photos. In addition to the warm beds, hot water is provided and there is a Dyson hair dryer. There is really nothing to say about the attentiveness of every detail! You don't have to worry about finding food, as it only takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the main street. You can also choose to order food directly from the B&B. In addition to Northeastern specialties, there are many dishes that are not usually easy to see. The basil roe deer and sauerkraut shreds I tried this time are not only reasonably priced, but also very delicious and large in portion. It is a good choice without having to go out and get cold! As for the arranged Snow Valley entertainment itinerary, there are three projects in total, including soaking in the open-air hot springs in the snow at night (experience the stimulation of alternating hot and cold), Wusong Ridge (watching the beautiful rime and snow scenery on the top of the mountain, playing in the snow, riding a snowmobile, snow rafting, dragon boat, ice skating, etc.), and Yangcao Mountain (following the route crossed by the brave, taking a horse-drawn sleigh and snowmobile from the Snow Valley to the top of Yangcao Mountain). It can fully meet the expectations of southerners coming to the north for ice and snow, and there is no congestion in the snow town. I really thank the boss lady for her hard work again. From my personal experience of frequent travel, her meticulous and considerate service is definitely five-star. Although the drive from big cities (such as Harbin) to the Snow Valley is not short, the beauty of the Snow Valley in winter and the goodness of the Ruixue B&B are definitely worth experiencing in person, and I will definitely visit again if I have the chance!

Stayed at 'Xuegu Yu Wo Tongxing' for 4 days and 3 nights. Basically, I contacted the owner's wife via WeChat, which I got from Xiaohongshu. She helped us arrange the entire itinerary, and then we booked the accommodation on Ctrip. First day (Dec 30, 25): We took a large bus from Central Street to Xuegu at 8 AM. We arrived at 'Xuegu Yu Wo Tongxing' around 2 PM. After checking in, we started playing in the snow behind their guesthouse. At 6:30 PM, the owner's mother taught us how to make candied hawthorns. The tickets were 140 RMB for adults and 70 RMB for children. Then we started a 5-kilometer hike to Xuexiang. The thick snow and beautiful scenery along the way made my daughter forget about rushing. It was so cold on the mountain that my glasses frosted over, but thankfully I had applied warming patches to my hands, feet, back, and abdomen. We reached Xuexiang around 2 PM, rested at the Xuexiang Tourist Center, and then found a restaurant for lunch. Xuexiang is very commercialized; the food was expensive and not good. Between 3 and 4 PM, it got dark, so we went up the Fairy Tale World Plank Road to photograph the beautiful scenery of Xuexiang. The evening view was absolutely stunning. Then, at 6 PM, we took the bus arranged by the owner's wife back to the Xuegu guesthouse. We arrived back around 8 PM, and the owner's mother had prepared dinner. Their food was delicious. Third day (Jan 1, 26): At 9 AM, the owner took me by bus to visit Wusongling (Rime Island). We bought tickets at the foot of the mountain, 400 RMB for both adults and children. After the bus dropped us off, we had to take a snowmobile up a very steep mountain. Then we started trying out different activities, including snow banana boating, snow tubing, skiing, self-driving snowmobiles, a slide for children, and camel riding (at an additional cost). Afterward, the owner led us on a hike up a steep slope to take many beautiful photos. He even used a drone and a 360 camera to capture high-quality videos for us. I left around 3 PM; it was too cold on the mountain. Fourth day (Jan 2, 26): After breakfast at the guesthouse, we took a bus back to Harbin at 9 AM. For all three evenings, the owner would pop Wuchang rice for us to eat in the hall, and we'd chat while cracking sunflower seeds. Overall, I highly recommend the guesthouse's cleanliness and the restaurant's food. The owner, his wife, his mother, and the guesthouse staff are all simple, honest, and truly go out of their way to satisfy all guests. Thank you to all the staff at 'Xuegu Yu Wo Tongxing' for their dedication, which made our experience wonderful. We will definitely return to Wusongling if we get the chance.

This is a very new, modern-style hotel. Some rooms are decorated in a Japanese style. The bathrooms are large and clean, with views of either the mountains or the street. The hotel is located in the center of the village, and you can walk to the activity area. If you're hungry, you can order food from the kitchen area. Most importantly, the host is incredibly kind and also seems quite young. They contacted us before our trip to check in and took us to the ski resort in the village because we woke up late, so we didn't have to book other activity areas. They even joined us for activities, took photos and videos, took us sledding, and drove snowmobiles. In the evening, when we didn't go out into the village, they messaged to check on us out of concern. We felt that the host took great care of us without making us feel uncomfortable or intrusive. We were very impressed! Also, the app mentioned a deposit, but it seems the host didn't collect it. P.S. If you haven't chosen an activity area beforehand, the host will likely take you to Xie Yue Lai (Xin Yue Lai). This place is great for sledding, skiing, and snowmobiling, with a high-angle view of the village. If you want beautiful tree views, you'll need to trek through. If you don't enjoy these activities, there might not be much to do, so I recommend finding another activity area as well.

Great, great, great, great praise. The boss is kind, the boss's wife is gentle, the son is handsome, and the dog is cute. The room is clean, tidy, sanitary and comfortable, and the experience is very good. There are frozen pears and frozen persimmons every day, and you can also play water splashing to make ice for free. Basically, everything you ask for is responsive. You can ask the boss to help arrange travel and you don't have to worry about it. In short, it was a very good stay experience, and I will stay here next time.

The landlady is incredibly nice; she helps arrange everything we want to do. Right outside the door, you can play in the snow, and there are also: Northeastern specialty fruit platters, a traditional sugar-coated hawthorn (tanghulu) making experience, a Northeastern floral padded jacket experience, and a 'splashing water into ice' activity.

Highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

The room is a normal standard type but it's very cheap, only a hundred baht per night. But they informed me from the beginning that there will be nothing in the room. There are no towels, no soap, if you want it you have to ask for it, there is no water, you have to buy everything yourself. But overall, it's not as bad as the price. But the downside is that many people here smoke. If you don't like the smell of cigarettes, you may have to find another place that is closer because the smell of cigarettes here is really strong. But the bed is warm, there is a water heater, overall, it's okay.

The shop was bustling with activity. There were many guests, and the owner, along with an older man, led all the guests in activities, creating a group chat to send photos and videos. After finishing the dinner rush, the owner organized everyone to perform ”iron flower” (a traditional Chinese fireworks display) at 9 PM, while the elderly ladies inside prepared sugar-coated glutinous rice balls. While the sugar balls cooled, the owner led everyone in a water-splashing game to create ice. At 10:40 PM, everyone was called to the dining area to receive sugar balls, frozen pears, and frozen persimmons. The owner worked very hard all day, still sending photos to the group chat at 2 AM. From afternoon to evening, the owner's enthusiasm remained high; he seemed tireless.
