I went there on a pilgrimage to the sacred sites. The whole town still has elements of Iroha in bloom. Remember to bring exact change when taking the bus from Kanazawa Station; they don't accept cards. I almost couldn't get off the bus! The hotel has very few rooms, no more than ten, so the experience was great. The Fox Shrine is right across the street, along with the Hakuhe Soyu (which was just okay). I ate my fill at both meals. The onsen (hot spring) was a bit basic, but stepping out of the elevator was a pleasant surprise (the picture is on another phone, so I won't upload it here). Everything there was decorated with Iroha elements. Beautiful! The bus stop before the tourist information center has a lot of information worth seeing. The pictures are of the actual scenery, including some of the town and the mountaintop (there are bears, so climbing up was a bit nerve-wracking).
