Brilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff.  Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me.  They really make you feel very comfortable and safe.  Great location to visit Kenrokuen! 

Hotel Location: Strategically situated just a short walk from JR Kanazawa station, the hotel is easily accessible via the nearby shopping mall. It’s conveniently located next to Hyatt Centric, and a short stroll takes you to Omicho Market for fresh seafood. Facilities: The hotel boasts a public bath, a welcome addition during the cold winter months. Additional amenities, including coffee drip bags and teabags, are available for free at the lobby’s amenities kiosk. Rooms: The spacious rooms offer ample space for luggage, with separate wet and dry bathrooms. Opposite the hotel, an izakaya operates until 23:00, providing a cozy spot for relaxation and to ease your hunger during the night tim. The hotel is just a few meters away from the shopping mall, train station, and bus station, making it a convenient location for travelers. I would recommend staying at this hotel as it’s convenient and budget friendly. Staff were polite and helpful service with a smile.

This was my first time staying in such a spacious room in Japan, and the price was incredibly reasonable. The hotel provided fresh water, coffee, and tea daily, and the service was very attentive. The pajamas in the room were yukata-style, which was a nice local touch. The location is right next to JR Kanazawa Station, just a few minutes' walk away, with large department stores and shopping streets nearby. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, transportation, and a wide variety of dining options.

This was our second stay at the hotel. One thing to note is that there isn’t really a lobby or common area, so you’ll be spending your time relaxing in your room.   The room we chose was spacious and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, I do wish they provided bottled water in the room- it would make a difference after a long day out.   We also had an issue with the laundry. We waited late into the night for our clothes to dry after paying for a few cycles, but they were still soaking wet, which was extremely frustrating since we didn’t have extra warm clothes to wear.   Another small downside was the toothpaste provided .. it wasn’t great. It is paper and barely useable.   That said, the location is excellent and very convenient, which is a big plus.

The property was built in the Edo period, this tranquil hot spring inn is located 11 km from Kenroku-en garden in Kanazawa. It's quite close to from Morimoto train station. There is lots of free parking space, both breakfast and dinner are included but one must arrive by 6pm for dinner, which is served in a cozy restaurant. The gender-segregated communal bathhouse has both indoor and open-air pools with natural hot spring water, which is coffee brownish colour. There is a theatre stage which host an annual performance too. Amazing experience and well worth the visit. The hosts were so friendly.

easy to find, just 2 min walk from train station and a big building in your right hand side. Though not a new hotel with something in common area preferred to be renewed; in side the room is very nice, large room compared with usual standard. Breakfast very nice

Stay here for 3 night. Room with breakfast. No variation for their breakfast. Every day is with the same dishes. Also the staff at the reception are not helpful despite asking if there are e available parking lot that can be made available since there are guest checking out. But they insist for us to drive the car from the affiliate parking lot to the hotel to book the space first despite that we told them we are heading out. There is no point for us to just drive the car here and eventually we are still going to drive out isn’t it. They could have just took our car particulars and secure the lot. Very unhelpful young staff till a nicer Japanese older lady willing to assist us.

The location is great, and because it's a new opening, the facilities are clean. What's even better is that even though I booked at a low price, the room was incredibly spacious! I also liked that it wasn't a carpeted floor, so I could walk barefoot without dust flying around. It's not a huge place. Breakfast is simple, like sandwiches. But for the price, I was very satisfied. It feels more like a shared house than a hotel, so there aren't really any services. You should keep that in mind before you go.

Best was the receptionist! A young and very professional gentleman that helped us with everything along our stay, he normally works in Kyoto but came for a week to the hotel in kanazawa. Hope to see you at the hotel insomnia KYOTO next time we pass through. Highly recommend this hotel! Some weights at the gym would have been the cherry on top of the cake :)

The Koko Hotel surprised us with its service for guests, such as welcome drinks and good breakfast, as well as its large rooms occupied with a sofa and table in there. Besides, the hotel is located right in the city center, that is very convenient for exploring Kanazawa's main tourist destinations, museums, and even for shopping. However, what we really appreciated was the hotel's staff. We had never encountered such warm hospitality, respect, and assistance in our problem that we had faced as we arrived to the hotel. To be specific, my son lost his bag, but he couldn't remember where it could happen whether it was in a local bus from the Kanazawa station or in a highway bus that we took from Shirakawa-go station. The hotel manager called both the local bus company as well as and to the highway bus company to get reliable information. Unfortunately, the bag couldn't been find.
