Experience the charm of Kanazawa in this relaxing, traditional-style room.
Our highlight is the "Wa" (Japanese) interior.
We’ve designed a cozy space with fragrant tatami mats,
paying attention to every small detail to create an authentic atmosphere.
Located in the heart of "Katamachi," Kanazawa’s most vibrant area,
you'll have easy access to dining and shopping.
It is the perfect hidden gem for those who want both convenience and a true taste of Kanazawa’s traditional atmosphere.
The hotel reception and waitstaff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was very clean, with a simple yet stylish design. In the evenings, you could enjoy soba noodles in the lobby and even order a sake set to chill with friends. I even asked the front desk if I could bring my own snacks to enjoy with the free drinks. It was a very comfortable space. If you're staying for a day or two, I recommend trying the hotel breakfast. Both the Japanese and Western options were delicious, especially the bread 🥯. I bought breakfast every day during my 3-day stay, but I got tired of having the same thing daily 😂. Despite the no-refund policy, I wanted to cancel breakfast on my last day. The staff were very thoughtful and said that even though a refund wasn't possible, I could take away some bread 🖤. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would choose UAN Kanazawa again if I come back.
it's renovating an old private house
The bath, washroom, and communal kitchen are modern and simple and fashionable. The security was also solid, and I was able to stay with peace of mind.
There is also Nishi Chaya Street nearby, and I enjoyed the atmosphere in the morning and evening. It is a place I want to stay again
This was my first time staying at a completely renovated old house, but it was clean and spacious, and I was able to relax very comfortably.
The location was also good, as it was only a 10-minute walk to Kanazawa's downtown area.
The staff were also very polite.
