"I have initially booked this hotel as I was very impressed with the google videos and photos on how big, spacious and nice the individual rooms concept. At the place I stay, there's no car drive in motel. Do note there is no main lobby at all as this is a drive in motel. The room is indeed spacious, huge and nice as per google pictures. The only misgiving I have is that the room for overnight stay is 8pm onwards, if they can allow an earlier check in say 4/5/6pm without additional charges that would be nice. The staff were kind enough to let me in 1 hour earlier as I had travelled to Tai Chung in only short sleeve top (I had not expected temperature to have a sudden drop). Some clothe hanger would also be helpful for users staying overnight. Location is not exactly very convenient unless you are driving and have a car but still walkable to surrounding amenities. Nothing much to expect on service as this is a car drive in motel not a hotel."

This time I brought my wife to Taichung for her birthday, and we stayed at the Norway Forest Cultural Center for the first night. We arrived early to drop off our luggage and immediately experienced the friendly and polite service, which made me feel happy and warm. Although there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in our room when we checked in that evening, the front desk manager came up and helped us switch to a larger and more comfortable room. Their service attitude was also super nice. It's no wonder this hotel has reviews above 9 – it's absolutely deserved. If I have the chance to come again, it will definitely be my first choice! 🥰

The corner room was a bit small. With a double bed, it's fine for one person. The bed faces directly into the bathroom, so be careful with the water pressure/direction when showering, or the whole floor will get wet. The air conditioning is central, so be aware if you have specific preferences. The room has three sets of lights: main space, bathroom, and a night light. There's a free laundry room on the top floor, with paid dryers. The washing machine automatically adjusts based on the laundry type/requirements. The bed was really comfortable, I slept great, but the pillows were a bit too soft. The location is super convenient. It's across from Miyahara Eye Clinic and a 5-6 minute walk to the train station. The street behind the hotel is lively at night with hot pot restaurants. The staff were friendly.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, close to Taichung Railway Station and Miyahara Eye Hospital! The front desk staff are enthusiastic and helpful. If you have vegetarian friends traveling with you, you can inform the front desk a day in advance, and they will prepare a separate vegetarian breakfast, which is very thoughtful. However, the breakfast selection isn't very extensive. The hotel also offers a paid self-service laundry and late-night instant noodles. In the evening, everyone can go to the second basement floor to cook their own meals while watching movies. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, just a short walk away, and a Watsons a bit further down Wangyuan Road where you can buy daily necessities.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable. I had requested a specific room type, and to my delight, we were able to check in to it on the first day. We were also told we could switch to a room with a bathtub the next day, which was fantastic service. The moment we walked in, there was a lovely fragrance. Since we stayed for three consecutive nights, the room was cleaned impeccably each day. All in all, I highly recommend this as an overnight option for everyone!

Overall, it's a great hotel. The facilities, staff, cleanliness, and convenience are all excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I visit Taichung. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. However, there were a couple of things I wasn't happy about: (1) The hotel has self-service laundry, but I only found out when I got to the laundry room that it's only open from 9 AM to 10 PM daily (who wants to spend their prime travel time doing laundry in the hotel?). And at 9 AM, you have to call someone to open the door, and there's no air conditioning in the waiting area... Wouldn't it be more normal to have the laundry room on a non-guest room floor? (2) If there are no personal items on the towels placed on the chairs, it's generally fine to remove them. But I had placed clothes on the towel, and the towel was still taken, which I found really puzzling.

unfortunately i have forgotten to take a photo of the hotel. It takes about 40 minutes from the HSR, so this itself might not be as convenient. However, what I love is that, this is a conveniently located near Miyahara, which is a pick up place for group tours. Their walls are quite thin and you can often hear people coming back or when they’re too loud. Overall, for the price, it’s really good!

This hotel offers great value, with a lovely and clean environment. Its location is also very convenient, being close to Taichung Railway Station, which makes getting around super easy. It's also a short 10-minute walk to Miyahara Eye Clinic. I hope to visit Taiwan again in the future and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

You will need to change a train from taichung HSR to WuQuan station to get to the hotel, you can walk from the station (but a bit of distance) but Uber is be best option as is just 5mins drive away. The location is pretty convenient and there is 小北百货 that sells a lot of stuffs and is so affordable! Breakfast was alright, not much variety but decent dishes like noodles, porridge , coffee etc. I will definitely be back when I am going to Taichung again!
