GGuest UserOverall, it was a good stay, but there are a few drawbacks to consider: 1. They didn't inform me before check-in that I needed to purchase a membership card to extend my stay for a second night. Otherwise, I'd have to check out and then check in again. While it wasn't a lot of money, it left a bad impression. 2. The check-in time was a bit odd.

CCecilia PorThis was my 3rd time staying here. Very near to railway station & foodcourt nearby. Room is clean but quite small & limited space if you have larger luggage. However, the breakfast is delicious & it's healthier choice during our stay this round. The service staff is very polite & courteous at all time. The reception staff even have the record which I stayed before. There is also a waiting area with seats & table for guests with relaxing music being played. A small area for younger kids too. A good choice for hotel accommodation if you plan to visit Taichung.

FFlow.dotcomI had a wonderful stay at Millennium Hotel Taichung! This is truly a 5-star experience from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. As soon as my taxi pulled up, the bellboy came over right away and helped with my luggage—even sending it directly to my room without me needing to handle anything. Such thoughtful service! The room was very spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. I especially loved the little touches, like the Nespresso coffee machine for a nice cup of coffee anytime. The biggest surprise was the complimentary mini bar—there were four bottles of soft drinks provided for free, which was such a nice bonus! The bathroom was also impressively large, clean, and well-designed, adding to the overall luxurious feel of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend Millennium Hotel Taichung if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again! 😊

GGuest UserOverall, I was quite disappointed. Right from check-in, the staff couldn't find my reservation, and they even asked for my surname in English, and the number and gender of guests, which was a bit odd. I noticed a lot of things because I was waiting for my luggage in the lobby for a very long time. The seating area around the art installation in the lobby was dusty, especially the back rows, and the outdoor area was full of fallen leaves. While I was busy with my child and family arranging crafts, my luggage had already been taken to the room. When I realized I needed my carry-on bag, the staff said they would retrieve it from the room for me (we hadn't even checked into the room yet). I had a carry-on with my child's daily essentials, and my child needed to use the restroom. So, we waited in the lobby for that bag for nearly 20 minutes. Regarding the other facilities, the welcome tea was incredibly simple. The window in our room had large water stains on the glass (I initially thought it was fog). Below our room, there was an area with weeds and what looked like abandoned moss, which felt out of place. It seemed like the most effort the hotel put in was the gardening, and I couldn't understand why this particular area existed; it was a huge contrast. Considering all meal costs are extra, it really didn't offer good value for money at all. The food, however, was very good, and the laundry service was a plus. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming. If the room rates were lower, I might consider revisiting. But if the prices and facilities remain as they are, I won't be returning.

TTiffytif17The room is as described and shown on the pictures. I gave a 4 for cleanliness as on first night, I found hairs on the bed & a hole on the bath towel. I reported to the staff via LINE (in Taiwan they use mainly LINE to communicate). They quickly took action and offered to change the bedsheets and clean the room. As I stayed for a week, they scheduled a housekeeping on day 4 of my stay. The soundproofing is not the best but if needed earplugs are provided in the room. It was the winter in Taiwan when I was there so having a hot shower is important and the hot water is available. I like that there is water dispenser at each room level, rubbish and recycling bins are located outside so it is convenient. The location of the inn is about 15 minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. If you are carrying large luggage, advise to take a Uber. It is near to 一中街 (yizhong street) where you can find many shops, food, etc. From the inn, cutting through the open space carpark, you will be at the shopping area. As a female solo traveller, at the start I was a bit concerned of the location of the inn. The entrance to the inn is in a alley, next to a bistro bar. You need the access card to enter the inn so that is find, just make sure it is lock after you enter. The front desk only operates from 11 am - 10:30 pm. There is an emergency hotline number to call for afterhour service. Using LINE to communicate with them is easy. There's a cafe next to the inn where you can have breakfast with discount by showing your room card. If you want to travel to places, there are many buses. If not, it is easy to get Uber. For first time traveller to Taichung, he/she will not be aware that toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet bowl, so it is good to have a sign to show that. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, it is value for money.

Its location is quite good, and the entire hotel has been recently renovated, so it's still very spacious and clean. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get to Fengjia Night Market, the Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, the new Hanshin Department Store, or Shinkong Mitsukoshi in the 7th Redevelopment Zone. There's parking available on-site. The hotel also offers breakfast, but you can choose a room-only option if you prefer not to have it. Definitely recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe room was good and clean. And they offer a self-service laundry- of course you need to pay your laundry which is fare enough. But they don't provide any toothpaste ans toothbrush, which was indicated in their front desk and before booking. I was a bit confused though because I thought the reservation includes breaksfast as stated in the site but when i arrived, i was informed that it wasn't included. But the staffs are kind and helped me booked a taxi going back to the airport at a wee hour. The room i stayed had a window, there's ref and closet with only 2 hangers. The only problem i had was the aircon which was centralized or controlled so when it is cold at night, it is hard to increase the temperature. I couldn't really sleep well.
