Aanma1212The garden-style guesthouse is beautifully decorated and has a great location, right by the road (a bit noisy from passing traffic at night). Our room was on the second floor, with a balcony offering a fantastic view of the terraced rice fields and peaks across the street. The second floor was slightly obstructed by trees, but the third floor was even better. There were three parking spaces, and you could rent a tram to get to the guesthouse. The manager was very helpful and friendly, and recommended places to eat and visit. The guesthouse has been open for a few years, but the desks and walls in the family room weren't very clean. The first-floor lobby was dark without lights on. There was no permanent receptionist, and I had to find someone every time I needed something. I hadn't even washed up yet, and my phone needed to be charged after a day of use, when the power went out! No one brought me candles or anything, so I washed up in the dark. I woke up to find two dead crickets on the floor... The breakfast was simple, just enough to fill me up. When I checked out, there was still no one at the front desk, and I had to call for help to carry my luggage downstairs, and then wait for someone.

AAnonymous UserI rarely comment, but I really want to give Fengxi series of B&Bs a thumbs up! Hygiene: I have stayed in many B&Bs, and Fengxi really can’t fault it. The items provided in the room are free and can be taken away, including minibar, milk and large bottles of mineral water. Environment: There is a parking lot at the door. There are two delicious restaurants nearby. There is an electric car rental and a small supermarket next to it. It is also very close to Fried Rice Street. It costs five yuan to take a taxi. You can also walk directly to the sightseeing lane and take a sightseeing tour. When we were in the car, we told the driver that we could get off at Fengxi and walk back to the hotel. Especially convenient. Scenery: I have to admire Fengxi’s location selection. Living on the third floor, looking out looks like a painting! There is also a public terrace on the third floor. Even if your room is below, you can take photos on the third floor public terrace. It is really photogenic! Service: We have a lot of luggage. When we arrived at Fengxi, two lovely ladies helped us carry four large suitcases up. We asked for help, but the ladies said nothing and ran away with the suitcases, including the housekeeper. (I forgot to ask my name, and he was polite and polite with glasses). No matter what needs or questions we had, he would help answer them in detail. He recommended several photo spots in the scenic spots to me. They are all beautiful. Thank you very much. In short, the service is great. Really considerate! GGuest UserParking was inconvenient; you had to back up to get out, and the exit was narrow, plus the parking lot below wasn't big enough. It seems like they're still renovating, and some facilities are incomplete. The view from the front desk on the first floor was nice, the terrace was spacious, and the pool view was fantastic—perfect for taking photos. However, once I got into the pool, I found a lot of sediment, which ruined my swimming mood. The room's decor certainly didn't justify the 1200 yuan price tag. The only redeeming feature was the view of rice paddies and mountain peaks from the window in the morning. Also, I really couldn't accept the use of recycled bottles for water in the room. The complimentary fruit was nice. Because of time constraints, afternoon tea was moved to the morning; the staff said they were too busy preparing breakfast, so I didn't get a chance to experience afternoon tea. There was a friendly young woman with bangs who was very helpful and provided detailed explanations. She also created a WeChat group, which was a nice touch.

I chose Xingyi to take my child on a trip during the college entrance examination holiday. I stayed in a hotel in the city for the first two days, and arranged to stay in a homestay in Wanfenglin Scenic Area for the next two days. I booked this Fengsan in advance, mainly because it can be cancelled for free. I didn't expect that after the housekeeper contacted me on the day of check-in, he kept explaining that he hadn't contacted me. Maybe I rejected the strange call as a harassing call. The housekeeper wanted to arrange a pick-up. That night, we gave a very sweet apple and a local fat banana as welcome fruit. My family liked it very much and wanted to know where to buy it. The small infinity pool of this homestay is at a commanding height. It feels great to be able to swim and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast is very homely, and there is sweet soup in the evening. On the last day, we arranged to send you to the airport, and the driver was also very nice. The whole stay was impeccable.

YYang121314The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, accessible through the village, making it quieter than other guesthouses in the village. The rooms aren't very big, but the amenities and facilities are very comfortable. The heated clothesline is a thoughtful touch for this season. The cloth slippers provided by all Fengxi guesthouses are incredibly comfortable, and the felt tote bag is very practical for storing odds and ends in the car during long trips!
