Xingyi Hotels with Pools

I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! This guesthouse is probably the newest and best-equipped one in Wanfenglin. The newly opened guesthouse didn't have any unpleasant smells, which already surpasses many other guesthouses. The soaking tub in the room was large, and the kids used it several times. The views from the rooms and the guesthouse lobby were excellent, with a large field of rapeseed flowers right outside the door, making the lobby a beautiful spot for photos. The relaxation area on the fourth floor offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The guesthouse was very well-equipped, with plenty of instant noodles, biscuits, snacks, drinks, eye masks, bath sponges, and many other disposable items. They even thoughtfully provided toys, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers for the children. They served dessert in the evening and gave us a tea gift upon departure. They even extended our check-out time to 2 pm! The service was so good that we couldn't fit all the gifts in our suitcases. I highly recommend staying here.

The B&B service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Its location is convenient, and the common areas feature a small pool and a heated soaking tub, offering great recreational options – you won't get bored staying in. The stunning views from the hotel balcony are also a highlight, with the magnificent Wanfenglin (Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks) feeling incredibly close. Parking was easy too; when we drove there, a butler arrived early to wait for us by the road, guiding us to parking and helping with luggage. Just a heads-up for the summer peak season: the roads near the B&B can get congested. If you plan to visit nearby attractions, I recommend checking traffic conditions and leaving early and returning late to avoid delays.

Came here for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! The room we stayed in was perfect and the views in the room and the hotel itself was just wonderful. Looks exactly like they listed in the photos. The staff was very accommodating too and really took care of all our needs from carrying our bags to providing us with whatever we needed. It’s such an amazing stay and really one of the best! The food inside the restaurant was amazing too.

I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

The view from halfway up the mountain was absolutely stunning. Everyone at the guesthouse was incredibly kind, doing their best to meet guests' needs and offering various forms of assistance. Even though it was past mealtime when we checked in, they still cooked a single meal. For those of us who prefer a relaxed trip, we booked dinner at the guesthouse; it was home-style cooking, reasonably priced, and quite delicious. The kitchen was also visibly clean. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but they did have noodles, which were pretty good. Non-instant coffee could be ordered separately. Overall, it was perfect for a laid-back, relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, my itinerary was also quite relaxed and casual; I only stayed one night. I had already booked hotels for the following days, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer.

I had the most wonderful stay at the hotel run by Rose, who among others is an English teacher! From the moment we arrived, the location completely stole our hearts — nestled perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the mountains right from our room window. Waking up to that stunning scenery every morning was a dream come true. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s incredible care and attention. When we unexpectedly got sick during our stay, Rose went above and beyond to assist us with kindness and genuine concern. She made sure we had everything we needed, from medical advice to thoughtful comfort measures, making us feel safe and supported far beyond what we expected. If you’re looking for a place that combines an unbeatable location, glorious mountain views, and heartfelt hospitality, this hotel run by Rose is absolutely the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

How does a stay being outstanding from others with same location, same scenery and surroundings? These are the important points that affects me: 1. The service 2. The cleanliness 3. The connection (with their guest) Hechu Minsu gives me the best experience with all the above. Awesome stays with them! Although they require a certain amount of deposit, look at the amenities and facilities, to me, it's necessary and it's refundable anyway. The quality of the stays come from a bad experience of the Minsu owner in other places, thus she set the standard with hers. Will definitely come back!

Wonderful guesthouse with very big, comfortable rooms. Beautiful, spacious garden with swimming pool. In a small village where you can find restaurants and shops, hire bikes/scooters, etc. Right in the middle of the scenic area. The owner and staff are very accommodating and friendly, going out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is delicious, although every day the same (we didn't have a buffet, because there were hardly any other guests. Breakfast was prepared for us in the moment). Great find and highly recommended!

I can only say I'm extremely satisfied; I can't find a single fault! I came here specifically for outdoor activities. Booking a guesthouse in Wanfenglin is a real matter of luck, with all sorts of options available. I was very fortunate to find this one through a blind box, and I'm very happy with it. Environment: The environment, the furnishings, everything is excellent, stylishly designed, and very clean. They have many rooms ranging from low to high floors; I recommend staying in a higher-floor room. The breakfast was also delicious. Even without going out, the hotel itself is a great spot for taking photos! Service: The service was impeccable. They contacted me before I arrived to offer to pick me up and help with my luggage.
