MM557021****Traveling during the off-season, although there wasn't much scenery outside, I still really liked Xingyi. There are also places like Maling River and Wanfeng Lake nearby to visit. There's a man-made scenic spot called Fenglin Buyi, which offers nighttime views and folk performances; the overall experience was quite good. I also really liked Shanye. We booked a room on the first floor, which had a great view and a small balcony. The room was very clean, impeccably maintained, and had underfloor heating. The staff were very helpful and turned it on for us in advance. I'll definitely come back when the scenery is better and will choose Shanye again.

Upon arriving at the car park, staff immediately offered to help with our luggage; they were very friendly and approachable. The hotel has a Japanese-inspired design, making for great photo opportunities, and features a heated outdoor onsen (hot spring bath). The hotel's dog is also super cute!

GGuest UserThis is the most delightful B&B I've ever stayed at in Wanfenglin! The views are absolutely breathtaking: you open the window to layers of peak forests, and the infinity pool on the terrace perfectly frames the mountains and water like a painting. Even on a cloudy day, it resembles a flowing ink wash masterpiece. The common areas are incredibly well-designed; the tea room and bar area are very comfortable, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea and a chat. Even the B&B's little cat is super soft and adorable, adding to the incredibly soothing atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy, with soft, skin-friendly bedding. The details, like the toiletries and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, were all meticulously done, making for a truly comfortable stay. The service was thoughtful yet unobtrusive: the housekeeper sent a detailed travel guide beforehand, even marking out niche photo spots and local delicacies in Wanfenglin. During our stay, they were always responsive to our needs without ever feeling overbearing. The location is also very convenient: it's not far from the scenic area, easily accessible by foot or bike. Spending the evening on the terrace, feeling the breeze and admiring the mountain views, honestly made me never want to leave!

GGuest UserHow does a stay being outstanding from others with same location, same scenery and surroundings? These are the important points that affects me: 1. The service 2. The cleanliness 3. The connection (with their guest) Hechu Minsu gives me the best experience with all the above. Awesome stays with them! Although they require a certain amount of deposit, look at the amenities and facilities, to me, it's necessary and it's refundable anyway. The quality of the stays come from a bad experience of the Minsu owner in other places, thus she set the standard with hers. Will definitely come back!

GGuest UserThis stay was absolutely perfect! We booked a family room which was spacious and comfortable. It came with a scenic balcony, an immersive bathtub, and even a tearoom where we could relax. The guesthouse offers stunning, unobstructed views. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the front desk staff were warm and patient, and our dedicated butler kept in touch throughout our stay, even providing pick-up and drop-off services. GGuest UserThis trip was so rushed that I arrived at the hotel late at night with my luggage, and I was worried I'd have to make do for one night. But to my surprise, the owner greeted me with a smile as soon as I entered, holding a freshly brewed cup of hot tea. His words, ”You must be tired, come in and rest. Where are you from?” instantly melted away all the fatigue from my late-night journey. The room had central air conditioning, and the bed was made impeccably. Even the pillow height was thoughtfully considered without me having to say a word—it was such a pleasant surprise. The next morning, I have to rave about the breakfast! The variety was dazzling—hot, freshly made dishes, fresh fruit, and delicate snacks. After eating, I felt completely energized, and even the flavors were tailored to my preferences. I especially loved their plain noodles. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Just open the window and you'd see the Wanfeng Forest across the street. The mountain scenery, with its layered peaks unfolding like an ink painting, is breathtaking. Mornings are shrouded in mist, and evenings are bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, time seems to slow down. The toiletries in the room were also incredibly thoughtful; the high-end brand scent was fresh and not overpowering, and the texture was exquisite. I even shamelessly asked the owner for an extra set to take on my next trip. The high-end facilities were absolutely fantastic. The bedding was soft and plush, and the bathroom was impeccably clean with a separate shower and toilet. It was a truly comfortable stay. This thoughtful touch upon checking in late at night, combined with the wonderful experience during the day, has already made me secretly plan my next trip. This amazing guesthouse is a must-visit! I sincerely wish the owner great success in their business, and that this wonderful place deserves to be discovered by more people! ❤️

The staff was not only very efficient, but also gave a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and the surrounding fun places, which made people feel instantly at home in this strange city💕 During my stay at the hotel, the service was even more meticulous. For example, I had special requirements for the lighting brightness in the room, and the staff quickly arranged for someone to come and adjust it. It was really thoughtful.

Parking is a bit inconvenient as it's a standalone building; you have to cross the street to get breakfast. The rooms are also quite small. I initially booked for around 300 RMB, but after a few days the price jumped to nearly 500 RMB, so I booked it immediately. However, when I wanted to postpone due to changes in my travel plans, the price had already risen to over 1000 RMB… After staying there, I felt it wasn't worth the price; it was just average.
