"Lausanne transport card was sent by mail before departure, so I was able to use bus from the station. Otherwise it would have taken 15 minutes on foot upward, in Lausanne you have to walk up and down always. The Beaulieu theatre I visited was in the walking distance.
The room was simple but clean. The reception staff is very kind. It is more than enough for one night stay. I would stay again for my next trip."

"Because of this journey, I stayed for ten days and I should have been very satisfied with this hotel, but the attitude of the front desk clerk on the last day has given me another view!  I think the guests don't understand English and say some bad things. Too friendly to talk!"

"The location of the hotel is acceptable, suitable for driving, the surrounding is quiet and the service is good. I have lived in many Novotels in these years, including this one I lived in a few years ago, but this time the room was obviously old, the bathtub glass door was not closed tightly, and the shower would leak out. The safe is bad too. Although the impact is not great, I am still a little disappointed with Novotel."

"Good environment. Good size room. Bedsheets come with slight black stain. Breakfast is the same every day.
Horrible front desk service. Worst experience ever in my numerous trips to Switzerland and staying in different hotels. Requested reception to help book taxi to train station for early morning train to airport 2 days before departure. Reminded them evening before and was assured it has been done. Come time of pickup and no taxi came. Checked with reception and he said need to wait for taxi company to call back and need at least 20 minutes!! Requested him to expedite and he asked me to book uber myself!!!! Installed uber and got myself a vehicle and just in time for the train. Speechless"

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the station, which also has a Coop supermarket. However, the uphill walk to the hotel can be a bit challenging. The Cathedral is less than a 10-minute walk away, and from a nearby subway station, you can easily reach the southern port. The Olympic Museum is also just a stone's throw away. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. We really appreciate her service."

The environment is extremely beautiful and the hotel feels like a palace. Every restaurant in the hotel is very popular. XXin&CoMy two companions and I had a fantastic three-night stay. The hotel is modern and spotless, with all the facilities and furniture feeling very new. We were particularly impressed with the complimentary transportation card, which was incredibly convenient for getting around. Be sure to ask about it at the front desk when you arrive!
The service was impeccable. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us great advice on local transport, helping us avoid unnecessary costs. Although we couldn't modify our booking to change the last night to a double room due to platform restrictions, the hotel replied to our email quickly and professionally. A wonderful touch was the chocolate fountain in the lobby, it was a delightful treat that put us in a great mood every day. We highly recommend this hotel, they also have very nice gym (see the photo below).

GGuest UserThis room is spacious, clean and tidy. It is right by the lake. If the weather is good, the snow-capped mountains and lakes opposite are beautiful. It is very close to the Olympic Committee. The shortcomings are: 1. The bathroom and shower are separated by a bedroom, which makes it awkward to go to the bathroom while taking a shower. 2. The floor is too old and needs to be polished and oiled to be decent. In short, the flaws are not enough to overshadow the advantages. I will choose this hotel again.

EElenaThe hotel have a really good location and service. The room was nice and clean. But air conditioner worked really bad (it was too noisy so I had to switch it off during the night). Also it would be better if it was a chair in the room, but a stool, so I could sit and relax leaning back.

Exceptional welcome and top-notch service (especially the free public transport). The room was comfortable, the bedding excellent, and there was no noise at all. Continental breakfast. Great value for money. I recommend it!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has good hygiene conditions. The room has a relatively large space and a simple decoration style. However, the hair dryer in the bathroom is fixed to the wall and the switch is difficult to control, which makes it somewhat inconvenient to use. In addition, some of the curtains in the room fell off, which led to the dazzling sunshine in the morning and affected our sleep.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in a very convenient location, near both the metro and train station. The staff at the front desk and breakfast buffet were also very pleasant and friendly. Although there were a few hiccups with regards to the rooms conditions, when mentioned, the service recovery by front office staff Michelle was very fast and satisfactory! Thank you for making the stay more pleasant and enjoyable.
A travel guide book was also provided during check in that's shows the must sees and dos in Lausanne.

AAfshin ElahiThis place was fantastic! Spotlessly clean, incredibly friendly staff, and the breakfast was delicious. The best feature is the location: just a 10-minute walk from one of Lousan's best beaches. As a fantastic perk, they provide a free transportation card, which made the 30-minute trip to the Olympic Museum easy and convenient. The only thing to note is that there isn't a supermarket immediately nearby, so plan accordingly. A truly wonderful stay!
