"Conveniently located near the train station, but take note it’s not the main St Gallen station but it’s the St Fiden station. Nonetheless, it was clean, cosy and quiet."

"We enjoyed staying at Hotel Walhalla. Location was perfect as we only stayed one night and had to leave early the next day. The staff were exceptional and thoughtful. They provided us takeout sandwiches and snacks when they realized we wouldn’t be able to enjoy their breakfast the following morning. We only wished we stayed an extra day at St. Gallen since the hotel is conveniently located to main attractions and train station."

No Wifi (it is supposed to be there but impossible to receive the SMS code on my French mobile and no alternative solution proposed), no lift (3 or 4 floors to climb, I believe in my respect), Not a climate (but fortunately a fan because he was 31 outside), there are only 2 parking places affected at the hotel and no court. "The accommodation is very well located, near the city centre. The rooms are very clean. When booking via a platform something had not been successful, the support has solved the problem immediately and then I could check in without a chance. I didn't find a furnace. A small waste pad in the room would also be good. Pictures are not hanging in the room... it is very spartanian and cool furnished. But would book again at any time if needed. Price for 1 night absolutely OK! There is a large and modern parking (Einstein). For short-term parking it is very expensive. From 16:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. I paid 45 CHF."

"In St. Gallen, the hotel is very well located, just a few minutes away from the main station. From my perspective, the service was good. The hotel incorporates some modern technology, including a service bot that delivers drinks directly to your room upon request. There is a Japanese restaurant within the hotel. While I find it slightly overpriced, this is, of course, a matter of perspective. For example, if you buy a drink and do not finish it, there is no way to keep it cool, which leads to unnecessary waste. Having a fridge would also allow guests to grab a cold drink whenever they need one. I also noticed that the room was somewhat noisy due to the construction work around the hotel. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for a short business trip to St. Gallen."
