I didn't bring it up with the hotel on check-in night, so I figured it might be due to the new renovations. But I hope I won't encounter similar situations when I visit Leping in the future. There was a long reptile in the wash basin. I was afraid of getting burned by it at the time, so I didn't take a photo.
