"For over 2,000 a night, the 'luxury sea view room' actually had its sea view blocked by a building. You can have a blocked view, but then it shouldn't be called a sea view room! The bathtub also had no cold water. My first day's experience was, in a word: terrible! They changed my room on the second day, which was much better. I came here because it was advertised as the 'ceiling of parent-child hotels in Lingshui,' but I'd suggest they go see how parent-child hotels in Zhuhai handle details. A playground should be a bonus after a parent-child hotel meets basic standards, not the *only* good thing that covers up other shortcomings."

"The sea view was absolutely stunning, and my kids loved it! Head up to the 7th floor rooftop for an even more amazing sunrise and sunset experience. The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

"The value for money was decent, but the service and attention to detail were a major turn-off. First, the good points: Although the butler service mentioned in some reviews wasn't provided after booking, the package included tickets, making it a good deal, so I didn't have high expectations to begin with. The room was nice, and my child loved it. The evening fireworks were beautiful, but not visible from the room; you had to go to the public areas to see them. Now, for the numerous downsides: 1. **Severe Lack of Air Conditioning** The lobby and restaurant were especially stuffy and hot. My child would sweat after just a bit of activity, and the adults felt irritable. It felt as if the AC wasn't on at all, with very little temperature difference from outside, which significantly impacted comfort. 2. **Terrible Breakfast Experience** The family restaurant for breakfast was not sectioned off, leading to overcrowding. There were no numbers given out, nor were guests seated. It was a free-for-all to grab a table. If you couldn't find a seat, you'd end up holding your plate and waiting by a table for others to finish, creating a scene like a wet market. The cleaning staff walked around haphazardly, blocking guests, and showed no service awareness. They mopped the floor but didn't dry it. I personally witnessed a child slip on the wet floor and fall on the back of their head. At the waffle station, when I wanted to get more during cleanup, I found the tongs were gone. When I asked a staff member, ”Are there any tongs?” they glanced at me and said, ”No,” and offered no further assistance. 3. **Dinner Was Also Bad** Hotpot required booking a full hour in advance, which is impossible to manage flexibly with kids. The hotel's Chinese restaurant also had very poor reviews, so we didn't dare try it. For families who prefer to eat in the hotel, the dining options are very unaccommodating. 4. **Overall Service is Concerning** Aside from the polite housekeeping staff and a few front desk employees, the hotel largely lacked any discernible service. Restaurant staff were indifferent, and other departments showed no proactive service awareness. **In summary:** If you're looking for a cheap option with kids to see fireworks, you *could* consider it, but absolutely do not expect anything from the service or dining. The AC is insufficient, breakfast is chaotic, dinner booking is bizarre, and wet floors pose a safety hazard. I recommend either ordering takeout or eating out."

"Where do I start from, WOW, the hotel was super nice clean pleasant workers and the views were amazing. The infinity pool was wonderful I was swimming alone the majority of the time and I had bar orders next to the pool. The room is super spacious clean smells nice, huge bathroom, robes in few sizes, face mask, free minibar, tea sets, coffee, slippers alot of towels everything was supplied. I had a room with a private pool and jacuzzi and it convenient to swim whenever I wanted and they cleaned it every day. The breakfast was tasty and diverse, western and Chinese ones. The hotel location is a bit far from every attraction, thats was Plus for me, but with DiDi you can reach everywhere. The beach was nice and clean 👌 Really loved the stay and I will sue come back to it😍"

"I stayed here three years ago and loved how quiet and wonderful it was, so I decided to come back. Some areas are showing a bit of age, especially that utility pole on the hill – the paint looks like it's peeling off! 😂 The room itself was great, but booking through Ctrip meant I couldn't earn points. 😅 The bed was super comfy, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. There were hardly any lights shining in, so when I woke up in the middle of the night, I honestly thought I'd gone blind! 🤣🤣 The breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was decent with good quality, including several local specialties. My only minor complaint is that the cutlery was too small and felt a bit cheap, being plastic. The hot spring pool was quite deep, which might not be ideal for elderly guests with mobility issues. I really enjoyed the swimming pool, and it was great that they provided free kickboards and back floats for use."

"Agile community offers a decent guesthouse/hotel that's close to the sea. The front desk provides some complimentary items, but some are only single servings, like coffee and ice cream. While the service is fine, having just one portion of food items seems a bit unbalanced, haha. The commercial street is convenient, but prices at some shops are even noticeably higher than in Haitang Bay. For example, a classic McDonald's trio that usually costs 30 is sold for 54 here. McDonald's and Starbucks are usually good benchmark brands for comparison. In this regard, even though staying in Lingshui might offer better value for money generally, it's worth considering the daily expenses if you opt for a high-value regular hotel. From this perspective, for family travel, choosing a surrounding five-star hotel might actually offer better value in comparison."

"Seriously great value for money! I wanted to take my kids to a hotel for a holiday, so I chose Perfume Bay, which isn't too crowded. This is my second time here, and it's truly excellent value. The environment is fantastic, right by the sea, and the pool is perfect for photos – definitely ocean-facing. The kids' play area is also very large, a separate room with ball pits, slides, obstacle courses, and a farmer's paradise – very comprehensive. Plus, there weren't many kids, and it was very clean, so you can let them play worry-free. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. While there weren't a huge variety of dishes, everything was delicious. The 'Jianbing Guozi' (savory crepes) were the best, though you did have to queue for them. The staff were all incredibly thoughtful. They arranged our three rooms together, and we could contact the butler with any questions. We'll definitely bring the kids back again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The service was excellent, especially from 彬彬, who was very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The team also thoughtfully arranged a birthday surprise for us, which was a lovely touch. Since we had an early trip schedule, they even helped arrange an earlier breakfast for us, a gesture we truly appreciated. N helped to book a driver to take us out to 五指山. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the sea and a stunning sunrise in the morning. While the location is a little farther from the main areas, the exceptional service and relaxing atmosphere more than make up for it. Overall, it was a very memorable and pleasant stay. "Considering the price includes tickets for two people, a boat ride for two, and an overnight stay on the island, it's pretty good value for money. Given that, I won't even bother reviewing the service or the product itself. Pros: If you're coming to Boundary Island, this is a great deal. You can catch both sunrise and sunset, and it only takes about two hours to walk around the entire island without getting tired. It's quiet at night, and the scenery is genuinely beautiful. Cons: The room facilities definitely have issues. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the shower leaked, and the sheets and bedding felt a bit damp. P.S. I wouldn't recommend any of the recommended activities on the island."

"The room was surprisingly good, and my whole family loved it. The front desk staff was warm and attentive. The young man who helped us was also excellent—quiet but very handsome! He patiently guided us through check-in, helped with our luggage, and even told us which floor the parking was on and where the 'L' level was, which was super convenient for food deliveries. The beach was just a few minutes' walk away, and the complex itself was lovely with great privacy. They even covered our parking fees. I'd feel bad not giving them a five-star rating! Huge thanks for the care and daily housekeeping during our stay. All in all, fantastic value for money and a great experience. Seriously, for this price on a vacation, what more could you ask for?"
