Weixi Hotels with Wifi

"I had such a great stay in Tacheng, thanks to the hotel’s owner! When I planned my Yunnan trip and asked AI to help me (because of the lack of online information in English), and it recommended me to go to Tacheng to see the snub-nosed monkeys, little did I know that nothing could be done there without a car. Fellow travelers, just so you know: there are no bus stations nor taxis in Tacheng. I of course only realized it once I arrived. I felt dumb (no I do not have a car nor a driver), but the hotel’s owner was super kind and gave my friend and I free roundtrip rides, to the hotel and in the early morning to the Snub-nosed Monkey Park (that is closeby). Because the closest restaurant was 42 km away, we were given a generous and delicious dinner. (It was supposed to be 50 rmb but at the end the boss made it free.) I’m vegetarian and the boss accommodated me. The breakfast, that was included in the price, was also generous and delicious. As for the hotel, it was beautiful and comfortable. There’s a really nice living room (we were given free fruits and free beer!) and a really nice patio as well. The room was clean, the pillows were so soft and the shower was surprisingly techno. I slept very well, even though a rooster started to crow in the early morning (so remember to close the window before going to sleep). In the evening, we walked in the surroundings and I liked it so much, it was picturesque and peaceful. My stay in Tacheng could’ve been a nightmare but thanks to the hotel’s owner, I really enjoyed it (and I got to see the famous snub-nosed monkeys!) So I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, where I didn’t expect so much kindness and generosity."

After a day of self-driving, staying in the homestay seemed to return to my own small courtyard, and the fatigue was swept away. The whole family fell in love with this homestay immediately. The mobile TV set-top box cannot be used and the remote control is out of power? There were also network problems and the bedside light switch was broken. 3. The shower head is broken... 4. "Nice hotel, relatively clean, and very well located for visiting the Tacheng Monkey Reserve. It's a shame, however, that the hotel doesn't offer breakfast or a shuttle service to the site. It's a 45-minute walk to the entrance, so it's reasonable. Otherwise, it's great; I recommend it!"

"Opening the window revealed a rice paddy. It was a pity we went at the wrong time of year, but the morning air was incredibly fresh. The courtyard was filled with the owner's flowers and plants: ginkgo, ugly orange, and lantern flowers. The sunlight streaming into the courtyard was so comforting. The guesthouse was run by a young couple and had a very homey feel. The rooms were spacious and cozy, the mattresses were super comfortable, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. Since we arrived quite late and it was a bit chilly, the owners warmly invited us to chat by the grill and even brought us some ice wine to try. The owner's wife made a bouquet of dried flowers from fallen ginkgo leaves in the yard, which I loved and gave to me. The breakfast was very characteristic of the Naxi people and incredibly plentiful. The corn was so sweet I ate a whole ear and was stuffed! Although we were a bit rushed, I couldn't resist taking a stroll around the guesthouse area to soak in the warmth and simplicity. Next time I have the chance to go to Weixi, I'll definitely choose this place again."

"It is really a very good homestay. The room is spacious, bright and clean. You can see a whole green mountain outside the window in the room. The green is very eye-catching. The boss and the proprietress are simple, warm and generous. Because of some personal reasons, you need to check out early. After discussing with the proprietress, She agreed without saying anything. So if you want to see the Golden Monkey and Damo Zushi Temple, it is recommended to stay at their homestay. There is really no need to live in those very expensive hotels. This is very cost-effective!"

"This time I came here to take the exam. The luckiest thing is that I booked this hotel when many people couldn’t find a place to live. Their service was really super good. All the needs were met. I couldn’t get a taxi to take the exam in the morning. The hotel manager drove his own car to send us three to the examination room. "The guesthouse is located in Tacheng, making it convenient for watching golden monkeys. The overall environment of the guesthouse is nice, the rooms are quite large, and the owner had arranged fresh flowers. There's a small balcony, and the owner was very welcoming. The breakfast was also quite plentiful. The only drawback was that the bedding wasn't very clean. When I lifted the covers, I saw long hairs and some black bits of dirt, which would be very unpleasant for someone with a strong aversion to germs. I hope they can improve their hygiene standards."
