"This was my first time visiting Wenzhou, and after seeing all the excellent reviews, I chose this hotel. When I checked in, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helped me with my luggage. From the moment I entered the hotel, my hands were free! A friendly lady offered me hot tea and delicious roasted sweet potatoes 🍠 – they were super tasty! As soon as I arrived, I could smell the sweet potatoes. The lady also mentioned that all the snacks, drinks, and ice cream 🍦 at the front desk were complimentary. I immediately enjoyed some treats upon arrival. I arrived quite early and even caught the afternoon tea ☕️, which included freshly ground coffee and fruit 🍉. After check-in, the lady escorted me to my room, explaining everything in detail along the way, which was very thoughtful. She had even turned on the air conditioning in my room beforehand, so it was wonderfully cool when I entered – truly a thoughtful touch! The room was also very clean and even had a massage chair 💆. Once I sat in it, I didn't want to get up. The hotel's location is excellent as well. It's a short five-minute walk to Wuma Street, and Jiangxin Islet is also very close, making it convenient for taxis. When you leave the hotel, they thoughtfully provide iced water, so you don't even need to buy water outside – I love it! 😍 The hotel breakfast was also delicious with a wide variety of options, all buffet-style. They even had Wenzhou's specialty sticky rice and fish cakes. The sticky rice was even better than what you can buy outside, and they had a well-stocked salad bar 🥗. After eating, I didn't even feel like having lunch. Checking out was hard to do. My car was scheduled for 3:30 PM, and the hotel's check-out time was 2:00 PM, which was fantastic! I didn't have to check out early and suffer in the heat outside. My stay was excellent, and choosing this hotel in Wenzhou was definitely a great decision. The value for money is superb, and I'll definitely come back next time!"

"The service was great, and the room was very clean. We originally booked a twin room for three people, but they upgraded us to a family room for free, which made us really happy! The service was excellent. The only minor issue was that the shower water wasn't very hot, but maybe that's just because girls tend to prefer hotter showers! Overall, it was still very good. All the ladies at the front desk were so enthusiastic, and the gentlemen were handsome. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Wenzhou! 😄😄"

"My overall experience at Wenzhou Yongtang Garden Hotel was absolutely perfect this time. The hotel's design and ambiance are top-notch, from the floral arrangements in the lobby and the faux fireplace to the exquisite and tasteful soft furnishings in the artsy restaurant. Every corner of the hotel is picture-perfect. The location is superb, very close to Wuma Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful. The staff proactively guided me through check-in, patiently and courteously explained the floor amenities, breakfast times, and convenient facilities, answering all my questions. I even met the hotel owner, who was also very humble and polite, treating everyone with warmth and enthusiasm, showing genuine care in every detail. The room hygiene was impeccable. There was no odd smell inside, the bedding was clean and flat, and the desk, mirror cabinet, and TV corners were wiped spotless. Toiletries were replenished generously. "The room was spacious and the location right on Wuma Street was super convenient. The service was excellent. Staying on the 8th floor made laundry easy and accessible. Breakfast was also on the 8th floor, which was handy. Getting a taxi was a breeze. It's close to Jiangxinyu Island, and there are many parks nearby, perfect for a stroll. There are also plenty of food options around. The weather was lovely! And the Garden Expo Park is huge!"

The lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was super quick, she answered all my questions, and even offered complimentary welcome fruit. Room service was also very prompt and efficient; all my requests were met quickly. The value for money here is exceptional. The breakfast is shared among a few hotels, and I must say the standard is quite high, with a wide variety and excellent quality. The restaurant staff even pre-prepare coffee to avoid long queues at the coffee machine, which is a big plus. One particularly commendable aspect is the hotel's complimentary shuttle service for guests arriving from the South Station. The shuttle is a large and comfortable Zeekr MPV. The driver contacts you in advance via WeChat to share the route. It's a quick and convenient service. Even without the shuttle, the hotel is just a stone's throw from the South Station, easily accessible via a pedestrian overpass, making it a straightforward walk."

On a business trip to Wenzhou during the summer vacation, I decided to bring my child along to visit Yandang Mountain. When booking the hotel, I saw many high-scoring reviews from previous guests, so I didn't hesitate to reserve two rooms. Even before arriving, a staff member contacted me to provide the exact address. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and even given roasted sweet potatoes. Fresh fruit was provided daily, and the hotel offered breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. They also supplied guests with many free and practical small items, such as cotton swabs, antiseptic wipes, foot soak sachets, and sanitary pads... I can only say they were incredibly thorough. The hotel is located in an old commercial street, so going out means immediate access to shopping and dining. The facilities are quite comprehensive, with self-service laundry which is essential when visiting Wenzhou in the summer. They even helped with drying and returned the clothes to our room. This hotel definitely deserves full marks, and I'll stay here again if I have the chance to visit Wenzhou.

When I checked in, the front desk offered freshly baked sweet potatoes and tea, which was a really thoughtful touch. They also told me about the hotel's facilities: there's a self-service laundry room with a dryer on the first floor, and I could even hit the gym if I wanted to. Plus, there's a Wanda Plaza nearby and a night market in the evenings, which is quite fun. They also proactively told me that it's only a 15-minute taxi ride to the airport, which was great since I had a flight the next day. The Olympic Sports Center is also very close. The best part is that the hotel provides three meals a day! Both lunch and supper offer freshly prepared main courses for free. There's a large, free parking lot right in front of the hotel. Highly recommend it, haha! I'll definitely be back next time.

Overall, it was decent, and I'd come again. Although the room wasn't much to look at, the service was excellent, and I slept really well. I mainly trust Kaiyuan hotels. The room design is more business-oriented (and a bit ugly). The layout is mostly functional but has some oddities; the bathroom and bedroom are practically 50/50, making the space feel a bit cramped despite the room being quite large. However, this kind of space gave me a sense of security, and I slept very well. The curtains aren't automatic, which probably reflects the hotel's age. The location is excellent. Being on a high floor, the night view is beautiful (daytime is just okay), even if it's mostly buildings. The staff were enthusiastic and the service attentive; they'd deliver a bathtub liner or makeup wipes if you asked. The glutinous rice at breakfast was delicious. They have an impressive array of egg dishes – 'The Egg Family's Loyal Devotion,' 'N Ways to Prepare Eggs,' 'The Hotel That Respects Eggs the Most' – along with bread and pastries, though those were just average, which explains why no one mentions them. The freshly made local specialty breakfast items were indeed better. I'd suggest they heat the hot milk more; it was barely warmer than room temperature, to be honest, and the taste suffered. Why use waxy corn for the milk corn? It had no flavor, and I suspect the milk was watered down. All the stir-fried dishes were quite good, a little oily. I especially liked the stir-fried cabbage, which was slightly spicy and refreshing. They even gave me a departing gift, which was a nice gesture – some snacks. Thank you. The room's lighting was just okay; the bedroom wasn't great for taking photos with the window view, but the bathroom mirror was fine for selfies. It has a separate toilet and shower, along with a bathtub. You need your card to access the upper floors. Robot delivery is available. The door lock felt quite secure. The room's soundproofing is decent, though you have to close the door with quite a bit of force, so you might hear neighbors closing theirs.

The hotel's proximity to the South Railway Station is a plus. We booked a twin room, and a heads-up for business travelers sharing a room with a colleague: there's no door to the toilet, which can be awkward when changing after a shower. The frontline staff were alright. However, it seems the hotel and management are more interested in making money! I was traveling with two adults and two children (one 1.45m tall, one 1.25m tall) and booked for three nights. I asked if breakfast could be complimentary for the children. Initially, the staff said the taller child would be considered an adult, as anyone over 1.4m is charged 72, and children over 1.1m are 36. They offered one complimentary breakfast for the older child, and I'd pay 36 for the younger one on-site. I was fine with that, but upon reconfirming, I was told the 'complimentary' breakfast for the older child was only for one day. I asked the dark-skinned, slim, glasses-wearing male manager at the lobby why, despite staying for three days, only one day's breakfast for one child was complimentary. He said the hotel's authorization was only for one day and that for the other two days, they could only offer me some bread and drinks. I felt brushed off and certainly didn't feel like the hotel appreciated my three-night stay.

The room was clean and the latex mattress and pillows were unusually comfortable. The room was very quiet, I didn't expect to sleep happily until dawn during the trip. Dry and wet separation is done very well. The shower is large and very comfortable. The TV is a big projection, but we don't watch TV and videos, so it's useless. The front desk and service staff are very welcoming. An extra bath towel and a pack of paper towels were sent soon. Breakfast is cost-effective, 28 yuan a piece, not 48 in Trip.com . I booked this hotel for my friend who was coming over. The hotel was very clean, parking was convenient, the service was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable; he didn't feel tired at all while sleeping.

Service: The front desk staff, a young man with glasses, was very enthusiastic and answered all my questions. Thumbs up! The cleaning ladies on the floors were also very friendly. Thumbs up! Hygiene: I found a foreign object, a piece of paper (not sure where it came from), in my breakfast rice noodles. The restaurant manager didn't explain what it was and just took it away, only offering to recook the noodles or provide wontons instead. This was a really bad experience and instantly ruined my appetite. The picture shows the elevator when I was checking out. As a mid-to-high-end hotel, the inspection hatch in the elevator shouldn't be left open like that. Given that the price increased by about 50% during the event (my booking price was 1166 RMB), the hotel should at least provide the basic hygiene and safety that a 600-700 RMB hotel would offer, instead of just raising prices and failing to deliver even basic hygiene and safety guarantees. Additional: This Marriott executive king room only provides two bottles of mineral water. It's the stingiest Marriott I've ever stayed in! The mini-fridge was completely empty. This is the first time I've seen a hotel where you have to contact staff just to use amenities.

The best: incredibly helpful staff and impeccable cleanliness The most outstanding quality of this hotel is undoubtedly the extremely helpful and attentive staff. In every situation, from check-in to simple requests, they were courteous and ready to assist , always striving to resolve any need. This aspect makes the stay very pleasant from a human perspective. Another strong point is the general cleanliness of the premises, which is truly impeccable and worthy of note. The difficulties: a language barrier and the smell of smoke However, I ve encountered two significant hurdles: 1. Language barrier: No staff member speaks English. Communication was only possible through gestures, translation apps on our phones, and a lot of patience. This can be a problem for managing specific requests or non-routine situations. 2. Smoke smell in the room: Finding a room that did not have a persistent smell of tobacco smoke was a real challenge. It would be advisable to have better-designated and deodorized non-smoking rooms. In summary: I recommend this hotel mainly to those who have no language issues and are not sensitive to the smell of smoke, as the genuine courtesy of the staff and the excellent cleanliness are valuable qualities. For others, it's best to be prepared for these two issues.

My top choice for business trips! It's close to my workplace and easily accessible. The room is quiet, the desk and chair are comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is fast. They offer laundry service, which is professional, and the front desk staff are warm and efficient, making check-in and check-out quick. Room was quite small, but bed was good. No water bottle was provided. The receptionist said, they don’t have supply of water! Toothbrush, comb was on the reception desk, you have to go there in order to bring those to your room. Room floor was old, and wooden color almost faded away. Air conditioner was working, but it was making weird sound as it was an old A.C. Washroom wasn’t properly cleaned, had so much dust near the closestool. Also, the washroom door’s screw was loosened, so it felt like it’s gonna fall.
