"On the way back to Shanghai, Xuancheng is a treasure town, with direct high-speed rail, profound culture, pleasant environment, and the receptionist at the hotel also presented exquisite souvenirs, which was a surprise (Miss Zhao and Miss Chen should give a five-star praise). When checking out, I applied for an extension to 1 pm without any hesitation, which was great. Next time I come to Xuancheng, I will consider Jingting Lake Hotel, which is next to the famous Jingting Mountain. It is very convenient, with green water and clear mountains and pleasant air. "Highly recommend this hotel! The entire experience was fantastic. The rooms were spotless, the hygiene was impeccable, and the facilities were complete and comprehensive. The decor was elegant and sophisticated, with a refined feel from the ink-wash style décor. The lobby featured displays of traditional Chinese writing implements, as well as reading and coffee spaces. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Upon check-in, a fruit platter and local snacks from Xuancheng were delivered to the room, and upon departure, they even gave the hotel's mascot, a small crocodile. Overall, it was a delightful and surprising stay, and I hope to have the opportunity to return again!"

The hot air conditioner was used in the room for so long. The first time I used an electric fan in the room, it was still hot. To be honest, I was really disappointed. The hot at night was fundamental. I can’t sleep. I put a chair in the window and hang the curtains. The cool breeze outside can’t be solved. I’m disappointed. But I came to the front desk. GGuest UserThe room facilities were quite nice, and the environment was also nice, but it felt like the owner wasn't paying attention. Before we went, I asked if there was a stream in front of or behind the house for children to play in, and they said there was one (very casually). (After all, we were tourists and unfamiliar with the terrain, so a recommendation from a local was crucial). Upon arrival, they confirmed it was right behind the house. We went to take a look, carrying our gear. It was a reservoir, I guess. People were fishing—you guessed it! We turned back again! The breakfast left me speechless. 😓 We went downstairs around 7:30 in the morning, and they told us there was nothing left (there were five of us). There was only a small bowl of porridge, a steamed bun, a fried dough stick, a little soy milk, and noodles. No more words~

GGuest UserI chose Guangde for a weekend trip, specifically to experience the highly-rated 'Guangde Three-Piece Set'. After a long search, I decided to stay at the Guangde New Century Hotel, which has consistently good reviews.
However, there was a minor hiccup on the night I checked in: the room felt quite stuffy and hot, likely due to the changing seasons. I called the front desk, and they explained that the central air conditioning couldn't be switched to cooling mode at the moment. While I understand the hotel's operational logic, being someone who's sensitive to heat, I didn't get much rest that night and felt quite tired the next day. When checking out, a young man with glasses (I forgot his name) proactively asked about my stay. When I mentioned the heat in the room, he didn't just give a cold, perfunctory response. Instead, he apologized very sincerely and kindly, showing genuine empathy, which immediately diffused any frustration I had. He also noticed I had my little ones with me and gave them two packs of peach crisps. It was a very heartwarming gesture. As a parent, these small acts of consideration for children really hit home.
Overall, everything was great. But if the central air conditioning can't provide cooling or heating due to seasonal changes, leading to a poor guest experience, that's really not worth it. I suggest the hotel invest in more fans, portable air conditioners, and other solutions. If I come back to Guangde, I'd most likely stay at New Century Grand Hotel again because, apart from the AC issue, everything else would get a perfect score.

AAnonymous UserStepping into my room after checking in, I was instantly disgusted by the butler's actions; it felt like swallowing a fly. I seriously suspect that all the hotel's good reviews are fabricated using this same tactic, and they're incredibly inflated.
Logically, butlers should contact guests in advance to facilitate a smooth check-in and enhance the experience, which is perfectly acceptable. But at this hotel, I've witnessed another distorted use of butler service—it's blatantly profit-driven, and their behavior is utterly repulsive.

GGuest UserI was lucky enough to book a suite this time. The room was super large and the bathroom and bathtub were so clean I couldn't bear to use them. My child was diligently doing homework in the living room while I watched TV in the bedroom without disturbing each other. The front desk staff was very warm and proactively provided children's toiletries and slippers. The breakfast ingredients were fresh and hygienic, and the beef noodles and tripe were really delicious. 😋 I've definitely recommended this hotel to my friends. It's a very cost-effective hotel.

The breakfast is not satisfactory, a little hungry, it is recommended to eat early breakfast if you go, the noodles are still good. There is nothing to eat around, our family drove to the city to eat at night, and it took a few minutes to get to the square, KFC, Lao Xiangji snacks and hot pot. It is still recommended, it is full during the May Day holiday.

GGuest UserThis time I came to Jixian to play and stayed at the Hantang Paper Mill Hotel. The experience was really real and I really recommended it. The hotel is in the Xuanzhi Industrial Park. The environment is quiet, the Huizhou courtyard style is very comfortable, there is no over-decoration, and it looks clean and elegant. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the living is very practical.
The service attitude is gentle and thoughtful, the check-in is fast, and the problem is answered in a timely manner. The dining is a local taste, the dishes are sufficient, the taste is authentic, and you can eat at ease. The most distinctive thing is that you can feel the paper culture up close, visit the workshop, experience handmade, adults and children feel interesting.

GGuest UserThe staff is great, super nice. It’s a little loud in the night as the walls are thin and garbage was picked up around 4am. Amazing value for money, the rooms are spacious, have windows, no unpleasant odors at all. The beds are hard, not as soft as the bigger hotels might have.
You can walk to the tianshou temple and the food street in like 10 minutes. Great stay!!!!
