"1. I don't know if it was the hotel's fault or Ctrip's, but I booked a room for 10:00 AM, but when I arrived at 11:00 AM, they said there were no rooms available. An hour later, when we returned, they told us there was no parking because three weddings were being held simultaneously that day… The hotel had no parking plans whatsoever, so we had to find our own parking. 3. Upon entering the room, I noticed the window faced the hospital courtyard and its sign. I didn't think much of it at first, but after going out for a walk and returning after dark, I was terrified. The hospital sign glowed red at night. The room, with the curtains drawn, had a creepy red atmosphere, like a **. 4. My Ctrip booking showed a 2:00 PM checkout time. At 11:38 AM, the front desk called to remind me to check out before 12:00 PM. I told them my booking stated 2:00 PM, and they asked if I could check out before 1:00 PM. Although I was supposed to check out before 12:00, this experience was very unpleasant. Did the hotel completely ignore my rights and obligations on Ctrip? 5. The above is not directed at any specific service staff. The front desk staff were very friendly and proactive in helping to resolve the issue, but it was clear that the hotel didn't give them much authority to do so. The front desk eventually offered two breakfast vouchers as an apology. As for parking, it was a last resort; they squeezed a spot into the parking lot entrance. Although dangerous, it was the best solution the front desk staff could think of. Parking planning and cooperation with Ctrip should be things the hotel should have arranged in advance. I hope management will plan the hotel's arrangements carefully; otherwise, simply having friendly staff won't solve guests' actual problems."

I wanted to take the mattress home immediately after my stay 😭 I booked the Yicheng Hotel by chance while in Zhuozhou, and I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised!
