"The only complaint I have about the hotel is the wifi. My room was at level 5 and I thought the reason it's slow was probably due to the room distance from the router. Then I asked to change room and they gave me 1 at level 6 which is very near to the router. And no, the wifi is still terrible and almost non-existence. It is connected to the wifi but there was no internet connection."

"Check in had some issues but eventually resolved with satisfactory outcome. Toilet shower flooded after every use but housekeeping resolved after feedback. Gym is good. Breakfast is more towards local dishes. Location is easy to go anywhere. Aircon is strong and bed is comfortable. Weekend may be noisy due to event space near the pool. Sound proof may be an issue for light sleepers. Good service staff. Nice pool but I did not use as too many kids."

"The hotel is really good, impressed by its good infrastructures, great breakfast and good services.
However, there were some points deducting aspects. The disgusting black stains at edge of the wash basin, the water stained tissues and the worst of the lot, the faeces chocked toilet bowls in male toilet of the dining area was a real turnoff."

"My stay is quite good. Neo have good Aircon that comfort a lot in Pontianak hot whether. I got smoking room in the day 1 but they immediately switch to non smoking room once available, thanks to mbak Mala that help me a lot during my stay. Keep your hospitality on 👍"

SallyARA well located hotel in the city with good amenties & access to shopping areas & eateries. Room was also clean & spacious but the wall is abit thin as we cam hear the voices of guest speaking. HARRIS Hotel Pontianak scores with a good location, friendly staff and an overall solid package. The public areas look modern and well maintained, and both check‑in and check‑out were efficient and helpful.
The point deduction is for the bed: the linens were freshly made but had visible stains, and the mattress underneath was clearly soiled – this is where the hotel urgently needs to improve its quality standards. With spotless bedding and a renewed or thoroughly cleaned mattress, this property would easily be a 5‑star choice within its category for me.

Check-in was a breeze, room was clean, except for the bathroom, where there were noticeable black mold near to the shower heads. The experience of showering was not that good, due to the unfavourable scene of the black mold, and also, damp smell whenever I entered the shower cabin.
I also went to the spa, while the massage is decent, the person-in-charge made comments like - well, I am not a cashier, so I don't have change. To which, I feel like it is a bit not professional.

Be careful! if you don't want to listen to a night club daily until 2am, feel the base vibrations through the walls and bed (earplugs don't help), smell the strong ciragettes aroma, listen to the elevator tune in the lobby as the are no sound insulation what so ever. Listen to the street noise.
Better avoid staying in this hotel.
Cleanliness were OK for an Indonesian establishment.
P.S.
When checked in, we were placed into a tiny room without windows on the 3rd floor.
As I've seen from other travellers, it could be tactics used to upsell for a more expensive room.
We had specifically selected a non smoking and quiet room while booking.
The room STANK of ciragettes! And loud music could be heard after 8pm, so the reception gave a different room quickly, only mentioning it should be a paid for upgrade.

The service is friendly and very helpful. The room conditions are clean, tidy and ready to be occupied. The motorbike parking area is behind the building and the condition is spacious, and there are also those who guard the parking lot. There are 4 types of rooms on each floor, there are Standard types (floors 3 & 4 start from 100 thousand), Standard Plus types (floors 3 & 4 start from 150 thousand), Superior types (floors 2 start from 170 thousand), Deluxe types (floors 1 start from 185 thousand). Each type of room has different facilities. For reservations, you can make them directly on the spot or via the trip.con application. Want to find a place with affordable prices and a location close to any area.

The location is a bit remote. The room facilities are very old. The disposable slippers are all worn. You can ask the front desk to change them for you. The service is OK. The breakfast is also good.
