"The room was clean and big, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent with local delicacies such as onion tempura and soup. I enjoyed it very much with the sea view. I appreciate that they have two bathhouses (although small) and they open at 6am. They also provided a bottle for you to refill at the water station on every floor. The stay overall was nice and relaxing."

"A pleasant breeze blew by the sea, the heat was modest, and it was a wonderful trip! The interior design was very cute, there was a welcome drink, and I was able to listen to the record! The only thing I was worried about was that the insects were stuck to the screen door or floating in the pool. I think the problem of insects is inevitable because it is a summer night, but that was a little disappointing. Other than that, it was really great!"

"The location is a bit inconvenient; you'll need to drive or take a taxi to get around. However, there are many restaurants and two Lawson convenience stores nearby, which is very handy. "We had a pleasant stay at Grand Nikko Awaji Hotel which is located at Awaji Yumebutai (淡路夢舞台). It takes less than 50 minutes from Kobe Sannomiya to Awaji Yumebutai by bus. The hotel room is clean and spacious, and all rooms face the sea. The hotel is part of Awaji Yumebutai complex with direct access to conference centre and various attractions such as Hyakudan-en Garden (百段苑) and Akashi Kaikyo Park (明石海峡公園)."

"I was thinking about the hotel with the mentality of trying it out. I thought about the public toilet. The room felt small. It was mainly close to the happy muffin house. I ate muffins there at night and enjoyed the sunset. I didn't expect this school hotel to be great. Clean and hygienic art atmosphere..."

"A very satisfying trip to Awaji Island was made even better by our hotel. Everything was arranged in the best way. We changed buses from Kyoto and confirmed the pick-up station through the Ctrip platform. When we arrived, it was still early, so we took the free shuttle bus to go shopping (with luggage back to the hotel). We used the coupons to buy lunch and ice cream at Hello Kitty. When checking in, the male waiters all kneel down to serve, and confirm the information of dinner and going out the next day. The room we stayed in is a single-family round house like a yurt with a viewing balcony and a wooden bath. The details of the room are all local characteristics (dressing box, free mini bar/dessert, washbasin are all petrified wood). The central roof is transparent and empty, and you can also observe the stars. We enjoyed the food here for 5 days, especially the dinner was not repeated and changed in various styles. What surprised me was that the waitress could perform saxophone and flute at dinner, and there was a restaurant like a stage on the island where you could also enjoy the waiter's musical performance. The 20,000 consumption vouchers given for 5 days are enough for you to go out for free at noon. We also bought Hello Kitty exclusive gifts for the children at the Big Apple with the vouchers. This trip to Awaji Island is more memorable than the trip to Kyoto, and the people are simple and honest. Everyone is working hard to promote tourism in Awaji Island, which is worthy of praise. I will bring my children here next time."

"Location is not hard to find with clear signages and correct Google Navi - winding on the mountain road but manageable (on the way down though Google led us to a private road but it's not relevant here). The building is gorgeous - a little inconvenient dragging the luggage from the car to the room if you have lots of stuff. We kept the large suitcase in the car and only brought in what we needed for the night. Front desk lady's attitude was a little cold. There's no Futon service though - it shocked us a little that we had to lay out the futon in the Tatami room ourselves. All the Ryokans/Jhalf board hotels we went to would have Futon service during dinner time. Also the room was cold and we couldn't get the A/C to heat up properly; there might not be a heating function at all? There was also loud banging noise at some points (it was windy that day), but thanks goodness someone fixed it before we went to bed. Breakfast and dinner are OK, and meal service is good."

"First experience the campervan hotel, which feels very fresh. There is a small platform next to the campervan, facing the sea, which is very healing and soothing for the body and mind. The hotel is newer and has a spacious bath. The staff is very happy to receive and friendly and enthusiastic. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Only there are no washrooms in the camper, which is a bit inconvenient to need to use public health facilities, but the sanitation facilities are very tidy. Also, note that the night camp gate will be locked at 10:00. Overall feeling is good, but if you want to experience camping-form activities, here is not a complete experience."
