Awaji City Hotels with Wifi

"I was disappointed because the meal I was looking forward to was served cold, even though it was supposed to be hot. The portion sizes weren't very large, which is good for elderly people or those with small appetites. The Dan Dan noodles, served from 9 PM, were only about half a serving, but they were delicious. Although it was an ocean view room, the sea wasn't right in front, but the view was nice because it was on a hill. There was a humidifier in the room, which I turned on before going to bed, but the water level indicator light was blinking in the morning. The toilet in the room had a small sink for washing hands and paper towels were provided, but I don't know why there was no trash can. I had to go outside the toilet and use the trash can in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. The view from the public bath was also nice, but when I got out of the bath around 4:30 PM and tried to borrow the provided lotion and moisturizer, they were empty... They were properly replenished when I got out of the open-air bath in the morning."

"A pleasant breeze blew by the sea, the heat was modest, and it was a wonderful trip! The interior design was very cute, there was a welcome drink, and I was able to listen to the record! The only thing I was worried about was that the insects were stuck to the screen door or floating in the pool. I think the problem of insects is inevitable because it is a summer night, but that was a little disappointing. Other than that, it was really great!"

"The location is a bit inconvenient; you'll need to drive or take a taxi to get around. However, there are many restaurants and two Lawson convenience stores nearby, which is very handy. The service is excellent, and the hotel environment and the view from the window are fantastic. Definitely worth revisiting."

"The hotel itself isn't up to par. The amenities provided are quite subpar; the toothbrush, for instance, was so rough it made my gums bleed. Right from check-in, they try to upsell you to a more expensive room. If you refuse, they deliberately assign you a low-floor room with a terrible view – I'm convinced it's intentional. So, if you want a decent experience, you're practically forced to upgrade. After upgrading, they cheerfully provide a hotel map and some greenhouse coupons. Otherwise, you just get a key and that's it. While I can't pinpoint any specific service issues, there was an overall 'off' and unsettling vibe. Even the renowned architecture nearby is poorly maintained. You can't truly appreciate the details; it only looks decent from a distance. This is quite rare in Japan, where I've always found people meticulous about maintenance. This place, however, completely overturned my expectations. Overall, it feels like quite a desolate and depressing place."

"I was thinking about the hotel with the mentality of trying it out. I thought about the public toilet. The room felt small. It was mainly close to the happy muffin house. I ate muffins there at night and enjoyed the sunset. I didn't expect this school hotel to be great. Clean and hygienic art atmosphere..."

"The hotel is situated within the Awaji Island Park theme park. Guests need to first park their car at Parking Lot F, then call the hotel to arrange a shuttle pick-up. If your mobile phone only has data and no local calling minutes in Japan, you can use the hotel's direct phone located at the park entrance to contact them. A dedicated vehicle quickly arrived at the park entrance to pick us up, and it was less than a 5-minute drive to reach the hotel premises. Upon arrival, we checked in at a charming little cabin and were offered a dessert and a welcome drink. Even though I wasn't staying in a themed room, the cabin was incredibly spacious and comfortable, featuring a large balcony. The room was stocked with fresh fruit and snacks, and the minibar drinks were complimentary. Even though it was late May, the evening temperatures were quite low. The hotel thoughtfully provided coats and blankets. Unfortunately, it's a shame it was too cloudy to see the stars. What truly stood out was the exceptional attentiveness and friendliness of all the staff members – they were impeccable. No wonder their Google ratings are so high! For dinner, we enjoyed a Western-Japanese fusion Sabusabu meal. Each pair of diners received a platter of purple sea urchin, which was hands down the most delicious sea urchin I've ever tasted. If I ever have the chance to visit Awaji Island again, I would definitely choose to stay here."

"Location is not hard to find with clear signages and correct Google Navi - winding on the mountain road but manageable (on the way down though Google led us to a private road but it's not relevant here). The building is gorgeous - a little inconvenient dragging the luggage from the car to the room if you have lots of stuff. We kept the large suitcase in the car and only brought in what we needed for the night. Front desk lady's attitude was a little cold. There's no Futon service though - it shocked us a little that we had to lay out the futon in the Tatami room ourselves. All the Ryokans/Jhalf board hotels we went to would have Futon service during dinner time. Also the room was cold and we couldn't get the A/C to heat up properly; there might not be a heating function at all? There was also loud banging noise at some points (it was windy that day), but thanks goodness someone fixed it before we went to bed. Breakfast and dinner are OK, and meal service is good."

"The location was easy to find. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming. I stayed here without meals, but the rooms were worth the price... I could hear the voices from the next room, which bothered me a little, and The toilet seat was small, or rather, the toilet paper was placed in an awkward position, making it difficult to use. lol The amenities included a humidifier, which was nice. I would stay here again if I was just staying without meals."

"First experience the campervan hotel, which feels very fresh. There is a small platform next to the campervan, facing the sea, which is very healing and soothing for the body and mind. The hotel is newer and has a spacious bath. The staff is very happy to receive and friendly and enthusiastic. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Only there are no washrooms in the camper, which is a bit inconvenient to need to use public health facilities, but the sanitation facilities are very tidy. Also, note that the night camp gate will be locked at 10:00. Overall feeling is good, but if you want to experience camping-form activities, here is not a complete experience."
