"Stayed here for a quick business trip and it was a great choice. The location is the biggest plus—it's directly connected to JR Hamamatsu Station, so getting to my meetings was super easy, even with luggage. The room was quiet, clean, and had a decent desk to get some work done. Being in the tallest building in the city, the view from my room was a great bonus to unwind after a long day. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which is a must for me. The staff were efficient and professional, making check-in and check-out very smooth. If you’re coming to Hamamatsu for work, this is probably the most convenient place to stay."

"Chosen a non-smoking twin room. The room was spacious enough to open two big laugaue cases. Room are quite and beds are comfort. Shopping Malls and supermarket nearby. There is a carpark in the Hotel. If you don't drive, about 10 minutes walk to JR station or 600 yen of taxi fee or take al bus. We liked the welcome drinks bar very much, 24 hours open and self-service. Imagine that drinking a glass of cold drink after a walk in a very hot day, satisfactory."

"I had an excellent stay at the Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it one of the best nights' sleep I've had during my trip. The room was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with many popular attractions reachable within an hour's drive, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area. What impressed me most was the staff. They were consistently friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any requests or questions. "The place is exactly like in the photos. The room was very clean and plenty of space even after opening 2 luggages. The queen bed is huge and very comfortable. Toilet and shower is also very clean, but slightly cramp (usual jap style). Wet and dry area is separated. Warm water comes quickly and the water pressure in the shower is strong. The onsen was excellent, with a password for the female bath due to security reasons. Free wifi is very strong. Hotel is easy to find, and walking distance from the shinkansen (head towards the direction of the bus interchange). There is a convenience store on the opposite road. One of the staff speaks good english and assisted us promptly. There is a welcome drink and able to get additional pillows from the counter. Will stay again"

"There was a scene where the facilities were older than I had imagined and I felt inconvenience. For example, it is difficult to adjust the temperature of the hot water in the bathroom and it is easy to get hot, so be careful. There is no free parking on the premises, and there is a parking lot that can be parked in front of the hotel for several cars (1,200 yen a day) or 800 yen."

"Rented bicycles for 24hpurs for only 1000 each. Worked perfectly well. Took advantage of the lounge which had a lovely atmosphere. Bedroom was bigger than many other places I've stayed at. Staff at reception were smiley. Cleaners too were jolly. Only down side was the bathroom toilet. There was nowhere to put a change of clothes towel etc. so I managed to soak them."

We had a lovely two days stay in this hotel and on the first morning of our stay, I told my partner that I love this hotel. I had stayed at different hotels all over Japan and so far this is the best for me. The staffs are all hundred percent kind and helpful. The room they gave us is pretty comfortable and with a nice view. The free breakfast food delicious and food staff are all nice and pleasant.

I booked the hotel while traveling for a concert. The time I booked and the time I actually stayed were quite different, so I misjudged the distance between the hotel and the station. It was much farther than I thought, and walking in the middle of summer was impossible. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so I took the bus. The nearest convenience store is also located in the downtown area, so the area is quite unsafe.

An exceptional hotel with superb value for money and an excellent stay experience! 👍 First off, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. The room was spacious, and I loved the dimly lit lounge area before entering both the indoor and outdoor hot springs. Plus, the hotel boasts a pool with lake views! 👍 The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and as a vegetarian, I found plenty of delicious options. The Vegetarian Lasagna was particularly good! To top it off, the hotel lobby on the ground floor even offered complimentary drinks and snacks for three hours during certain periods – what a pleasant surprise! More importantly, the hotel is located on the shores of Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. It's a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. As someone who enjoys morning runs, the lakeside trail was perfect for jogging. The serene and beautiful lake views in the morning, coupled with the fresh air, made it an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate. 👍 I definitely plan on staying here for a few days every year! 🌹🌹🌹 Thank you, Trip.com, for helping me discover this wonderful hotel!

It's really close to the station and very convenient. There's also a convenience store nearby. They offer one free drink during happy hour, and they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. They also have soft drinks. The amenity bar has some decent bath salts. There's a large public bath, which is small, but it was larger than it looked in the pictures. It was during the Obon period, but when I arrived at 7pm, there was no one there, so we had the place to ourselves. The room had a lovely combination of wallpaper and curtains. Breakfast was served in a bright venue with the morning sun streaming in, which was very pleasant. There was a wide variety of items to choose from. It's an exciting hotel with many rental items. The staff worked very hard.

It was close to the station and the hotel was clean and I had a comfortable stay. The walls were thin and you could hear every conversation in the next room, so if you're sensitive about that, it might be best to avoid this hotel.

Location of hotel is very good, next to Bentenjima Garden. Can relax by the Lake which is part of the garden. But the hotel suggested parking in the car park of the garden which will be charged 410 yen each time your car exits the parking area. The hotel also offers the big bath and everyone will be charged 150 yen no matter you use the service or not. Breakfast is quite good. Rooms and hotel environment are a bit old. Cleanness should be improved.

I had a couple stay overnight. The staff were friendly, cheerful and very kind ♩ All rooms have a lake view overlooking Lake Hamana. Every time zone was beautiful and healed. The buffet for dinner was very satisfying! Fuwafuwa and delicious ＾＾! I want to go again for that. laughter a daily welcome drink? candy ice cream is free to eat The service is also full, so it is very recommended ◎!

Everything was actually really good, but this hotel was so old it couldn’t feel comfortable or clean despite best efforts. Location was great - 2 min walk from Hamamatsu Station. Staff was kind and let us check in just slightly before 3pm. Amenities were super for what you pay. Free evening curry, 1 draft beer and decent breakfast spread. Big letdown was the room - peeling wallpaper, stained carpets, no aircon (only heater), mold in bathroom crevices of vent. I think housekeeping is probably good and the room is fundamentally well-cleaned, but the old infrastructure just makes everything feel dingy. I feel bad as I feel the hotel is trying its best, but despite the amenities mentioned, I will never stay at this hotel again.
