"Just needed a simple overnight stay to visit the Attack on titan museums and locations. Hotel was to everything. Supermarket, station, bus terminal, rental car shop was all in close walking distance. Accidentally booked the smoking room so there was a smell. I'd imagine the non smoking rooms to be much more comfortable on the nose."

"The hotel staff, from the lobby staff to the restaurant waiters, provided first-class service, making us feel right at home. Although the location is a bit out of the way, when we arrived at Hita Station, we called the hotel through the tourism bureau, and the hotel immediately sent a car to pick us up from the station, completely resolving our initial concerns about transportation. We booked one night's stay with two meals, and both dinner and breakfast were very plentiful."

"We booked two rooms for a family of three. The facilities and rooms are quite old and cramped. The front desk staff are very friendly and the place is clean. It feels like a country inn. The bath on the 10th floor is decent. The Japanese-style breakfast tastes good, but the portions are very small. The Western-style breakfast seems better. The location is excellent, just 3 minutes from Hita Station Terminal. There are restaurants, large supermarkets, and it is easy to catch a taxi nearby. It is worth visiting if you are a fan of Attack on Titan."

"After much deliberation, I chose this hotel for a Mother's Day hot spring trip, and it was a wonderful decision. The staff were all courteous and kind. We arrived a bit early, but a male staff member came to greet us and told us our room was ready. They also thoughtfully accommodated my daughter's meal, which made our family's dining experience, something we eagerly anticipate on hot spring trips, a truly happy and delicious time together. The open-air bath in our room offered a breathtaking view, enveloped in beautiful greenery, making the morning incredibly refreshing. The public bath was also truly magnificent. We even enjoyed the hot stone spa for a bit. It was a beautiful ryokan that makes you want to visit again."

"Excellent location located right outside Hita JR station and couple minutes walk from AOT Captain Levi statue! Hotel is clean, free Japanese/western style breakfast available every morning. "First of all, it was a 5-minute walk from Hita Express Bus Terminal, so the accessibility was very good! Early check-in was also possible, and I was able to have a really good time because I kindly explained everything! There are two 24-hour family baths, so I've been washing all my fatigue after a long time!! ㅎㅎ One surprise was that there was no toilet in each room and there was a shared toilet! There is really only bedding in the room! Please refer to :) The best thing was that the atmosphere was a really quiet Japanese hostel, so I really recommend it to those who want to cut off from the world and wash their hearts."

"It was so good When I open the curtain, I see the river, and I feel like I'm seeing a living frame every day. Honestly, the hostel itself is an old building, so there are some places with spider webs and it felt a bit old, but it was a good place to not regret that such parts at all! The staff are all friendly and especially the breakfast is added ... Really remember every menu and it's so delicious... You can feel the feeling of being treated really! And I was so happy even though I was only in the hotel because it was too hot in summer, such as a hot spring on the second floor and a massage chair and a playroom on the third floor, so I could try to interact with a turtle and lizard friend on the first floor! Really good place... I think I will think of it from here if I come to Japan again next time and Hita"

"While I was satisfied with the facilities and hot springs, I am leaving this review because of a very unpleasant experience. While using the shuttle service provided by the ryokan, the driver made remarks about Korea's colonial rule, saying it was ”not domination, but development,” and making political and historical remarks, such as ”Takeshima is Japanese territory.” I felt that mentioning these topics, knowing that the guest was Korean, was inappropriate for hospitality and also problematic from a customer protection perspective. The facility itself was fine, except for the lukewarm water in the open-air bath, but this experience has made it difficult for me to use the ryokan again. I hope that staff training and management are implemented to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future."

"I traveled to Hita alone, so I booked the cheapest hotel, and it was a great value for money accommodation. The location is within 10 minutes' walk from the station, and it takes less than 5 minutes to get to Jingeokgeo Cafe. It was an old-fashioned hotel with hot and cold water in an old building, so I can't say it was clean because it was an old facility, but it was great for a night's stay at a low price. The view was especially great.. Since this hotel was the only tall building around, I was surprised to see all of Hita at a glance."

"Wow, it's really awesome. Real, really, good. But please take the cash. If you don't take it, you will become an international Mia... Nearby restaurants: All cash Amagase Station Train Ticket: Cash only There is no ATM and no convenience store (if you go to Hita, you can take the tram from Amagase for about 15 minutes?) There is only a gentle Amagase Station guide woman. Breakfast is impossible to apply on site without a seat that day. Wow, but the hot springs are good, the view is good, and the staff are good. Especially the lobby is really, really good... I want to study there. In the morning, he drove me to Amagase Station. 짱!!!"

This is genuinely the ryokan of a lifetime! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The kaiseki dinner was an unbelievably moving experience, showcasing the ultimate in delicate perfection and meticulous artistry. The hot springs were pristine, leaving my body feeling utterly serene and rejuvenated. I'm already planning to return this winter! It's a ryokan that's worth every single penny – truly a once-in-a-lifetime stay.

Located in Hita-cho, Hita, it is known as Kyushu-Kyoto, and you can see the hometown of Ogata-yaki (on the mountain, there is a direct bus at Hita Station, and the shuttle bus is not much to see the timetable). The hotel is very refined and there is a public hot spring in the city. There is also a small deer field burning and some tea sold in the common room. A lot of Zen calligraphy. There is a very handsome little brother, who is very slippery in English and has spent 5 years in the United States. On the edge are ancient buildings and a winery. There is also a Sumiyoshi tea house, a very sizzling tavern that opens in the evening and is delicious. It is also delicious early. My little brother also drove us to the station, thank you very much!

This traditional Japanese hotel is so beautiful, with exquisite details everywhere. I even saw a hearth! The food here is delicious. The light rain was perfect for taking photos! There are many rabbit patterns here; look carefully.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were extremely patient with answering questions or even with booking outside services like taxis. The meals were extravagant in portion and quality, and they even made sure to have a different meal every day! It may be a little bit of a walk from Hita Station but it's located by the river, which makes for serene scenery. I can't recommend this place enough!

The hotel is located by the river, and the rooms have river views. There is a parking lot outside the hotel. Women who arrive before 8 p.m. can borrow color yukata for free, and children's yukata are also provided. The bathhouse has indoor and outdoor open-air rooms on the top floor; there is a rest space on the basement floor that provides coffee, books and some table games. Facial cleansing and skin care products are also available at the front desk. The morning meal is a self-service Japanese breakfast on the third floor.

The next day, the family bath that can be used as a coin is really awesome.. You can also use an open-air hot spring, but after staying, you can even have a private hot spring! The hot spring was hot, so even if I sat a little, I sweated and it was cold because it rained, but after taking the hot spring, I felt warm enough to feel the cold. It's a superb view and the price is very good. If you visit Hita again, you'll want to visit again!

The service was impeccable. Soo soo much food and it was really good too for the price you pay. The baths were great but really weird arrangement that the women only get access to the outdoor bath for 3 hours a day in the morning. So be sure to allocate time for that if you wanna try out the advertised outdoor bath. It is smaller than depicted in pictures though.
