"This hotel chain is pretty consistent across the board. It has hot springs, though they're not very big. There's free late-night ramen, unlimited ice cream sticks and Yakult drinks, and coffee is free all day. Everything's great, except you can't book a king bed – you have to get twin beds. The hygiene is excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious. The price is also quite affordable for Japan."

"I had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Room was clean and spacous and quiet. I had a good nights rest. Hotel location is nearby the train station and nearby lots of food and shopping. Would stay with again."

"There's another Toyoko Inn near Kofu Station, but this one was great because it was cheaper, even though the public transport access was ever so slightly less convenient. It's located right in front of Kofu Castle, which was perfect for an early morning stroll. After an early breakfast, it was also close enough to walk to Takeda Shrine. The breakfast itself was also neatly prepared."

"I missed the last train and stayed in a hurry. It was a little far from the station but it was reasonable and good. It is recommended to go from another road because the road next to one is not very safe in the night town such as cabaret club. I was a little worried because I stayed alone, but the front desk was a young woman and kind, the amenities were abundant, and the charger was lent, and it was okay even if I was not prepared for the stay. "It was late at night, and the parking lot was full. Fortunately, the hotel had a second parking lot in another place. It took about 3 minutes to walk. "Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app. If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer. The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too. Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat."

"The trailer house room was new and clean. The layout was good, the room was neat and tidy, and it was equipped with everything you needed. The bed was large and comfortable. One frozen bento box meal was included, with a choice of three options. You can heat it up in the microwave in your room. There was also a good selection of free drinks. It's conveniently located along the national highway in Kofu. I would like to go again."
