"We stayed in room 1812 for a night. The room was bigger than the standard Japanese hotel rooms and the view was breathtaking. The bath house is a must try for all travellers especially the outdoor/rooftop bath. Robes are provided and allowed to be worn in the outdoor bath only. Basic amenities are provided at the lobby. There is a department store next to the hotel and a supermarket right at the train station. I highly recommend this hotel :)"

"There are many foreign staff members, but we didn't have any particular problems dealing with them.
There is a height limit in the multi-story parking garage, so the type of car you can use may be limited. If you have a small, maneuverable car, you may not be able to fit it in because cars these days are so tall.
It takes time to get your car out of the garage in the morning, so we recommend going early."

"The location is fantastic, right next to the JR station and the bus terminal. I've stayed at this hotel chain before in Hokkaido, and they consistently offer complimentary late-night noodles from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The hotel also has its own hot spring on the top floor and even provides various flavored ice creams, which the kids absolutely loved. The room was quite spacious with a great wet/dry bathroom separation. Highly recommend!"

"a bit of walk from the train station as you can find places that are nearer if you are carrying more suitcases. i dont mind the walk as you pass by a lot of nice restaurants. can walk along the commercial street under shade even though hot summer day it is still quite sweaty. there seems to be a nice restaurant on the second floor but didnt get a chance to try. right near art museum and auditorium. quite city center."

"Room were ok clean and not that small.
Convenient Stores are next door, breakfast were good.
No smoking area and it needs to be a few hundred metres walk to was a bit frustate for those who need.
If room needed to be cleaned, you need to put the sign in front of your door. Clean and change towel isn't default - they mentioned this as norm in japan but other seems not to be.
I arrived the hotel a little late the parking lot at the hotel were full needs to go up to the front desk and get the map and it's like 5 mins walk from the hotel is a little struggling.
The other day tho I got the parking at hotel makes it much more convenient. You might wanna arrive a little early especially on the first night."

"We stayed in a rock bath, Japanese-style Western-style room. The hotel room is very comfortable and the space is large enough. 2 queen size beds, as well as Japanese-style tatami space.  The outdoor style is much larger than the picture, and it is easy to accommodate  our two families , and the children soak in the hot spring in the bathroom.
The room is equipped with 2 bathrobes per person, and also provides facial cleanser, moisturizing cream, hair gel and straight hair clips, etc., very intimate!
Have the opportunity to stay at this hotel again!"

From Fugang-＞ Kumamoto-＞ Asu Volcano-＞ Youfuyuan-＞ Because the Beppu Hotel is low cost and then chooses to drive 20 minutes to Dafen. I was afraid of trying and wrong. After all, I got 2 reviews, but I was surprised after the stay. The mini bar has wine and electric beds. Hot spring, large room, high cost performance, suitable for couples to travel by car.

Really loved this hotel.Free coffee latte or some kind of chocolate drink.Rooms so cozy with the right lights.Heated toilet seat and great shower.From 2 pm you can get one free glass of wine or sake.Toothbrush and razor provided.Free water in the lobby.2nd 6th and 10th floor had all laundry machines but didn't use them.Minutes away from Oita train station.Friendly and helpful staff...
Only heating was a bit hard to use.Kept heating whatever temperature you put it.But the warm duvet kept you perfectly warm....would recommend 👌

The hotel itself was very clean but it didn't have an internal smoking area, although there were plenty of smoking areas outside the hotel. After all, it's a business hotel, so the rooms aren't very large, but they have all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel, including a microwave in the lobby, which you can use for free. Of course, the biggest advantage of chain business hotels is their convenient transportation. They're generally very close to JR stations, making travel incredibly convenient. Overall, it's a good choice. I don't have a specific room size requirement, but I'd choose one with ease if it's convenient.

chromastarlightLocated just a block or two from JR Oita Station (and mall), it is also adjacent to a large Shōtengai (covered street shopping district), it is surrounded by walkable dining and shopping and is an excellent starting point for deeper explorations of Oita, or even a short day trip up to Beppu by rail, about 20 minutes away, though you don't need to go anywhere to relax features a ground floor onsen as well! The front desk was extremely helpful throughout my stay, and making the usual arrangements was easy. The location is quiet at night but feels connected to the pulse of the city.

오이타역에서 도보 15분 거리로 접근성이 나쁘지 않으며
돈키호테를 비롯한 주요 편의시설이 근거리에 위치해있음.
캡슐룸의 경우 별도의 문이 달려있어 어느 정도의 프라이버시는 보장됨. 하지만 밀폐된 목조 캡슐 형태라 여름에는 잠옷이 다 젖을 정도로 더우며 방음에 취약함.
층마다 보안카드를 찍고 들어가야하며 개인 짐을 보관할 수 있는 라커와 흡연실, 자판기, 화장실, 세면대 등이 있음.
샤워는 3층에 위치한 대욕장을 이용해야하는데 수건, 칫솔, 면도기가 잘 구비되어있으며 비교적 청결하게 관리되고 있음.
