"Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday.
Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast.
There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out.
Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us."

"Environment: Every room offers a sea view. My kids had a blast collecting shells and coral on the hotel's private beach. There's a path leading to the sea with a warning sign; it would make for great photos on a nice day.
Facilities: When I booked, I chose the option for a free extra bed for the child. I was initially worried the hotel might be old, but it seems to have been renovated as all the facilities are new and very clean. There's a coin-operated laundry room on the first floor for washing and drying. The indoor swimming pool and hot springs require an additional fee for guests, but the price is quite reasonable, and the hot springs are very comfortable.
Service: It was my husband's birthday, and you can pre-order a cake from the hotel three days in advance. A 4-inch cake was 3500 yen, which was a reasonable price, and it tasted great! All the staff were very kind and polite.
Overall, even though it was winter, it was uncrowded and comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend!"

"I used to stay near Cape Manza whenever I visited Okinawa, but this time I wanted to try a different beach, so I booked the Moon Beach Hotel. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained and quite nice. The room was surprisingly spacious. I didn't book a sea-view room, but if you have the option, definitely go for it – it's absolutely worth it!
For breakfast, there are two choices: a Japanese set meal or a more standard Western-style buffet. The room key is quite unique; it's shaped like a seahorse. On the ground floor, there's a shop selling beachwear, which is a good option if you haven't brought any.
Eating out near the hotel is very convenient, with plenty of options. There are also many diving schools and car rental places nearby. Some diving schools even offer Chinese-speaking services, so it's worth checking out if you're interested.
I'll definitely be back next year! 🤩🥳"

"Hello everyone!
We stayed at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha Bay from October 3rd to 10th, 2025.
The hotel’s location is convenient — not right next to the main attractions, but getting there from Naha Airport is easy. There’s a direct airport bus that takes about an hour and a half and stops right at the hotel entrance.
When we checked in, we were first given a room on a lower floor, even though we had asked for a higher one when booking. The next day, the staff kindly moved us — really great service and attention to detail.
We chose the half-board option (breakfast and dinner). The food was excellent — tasty, diverse, and offered in several themed areas: European, Japanese, Chinese, and Okinawan.
Besides the main restaurant, there are plenty of other places to eat on-site — a BBQ area, Japanese izakaya, dessert buffet, and a cozy traditional café.
The beach is small but very clean, with lifeguards always on duty. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for a small fee, and towels are available for free with hotel coupons.
The hotel itself wasn’t crowded, which made it peaceful and relaxing.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Some parts of the interior look a bit dated, but that’s easily balanced by the stunning ocean views, fair pricing, and overall comfort.
All in all, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a calm, relaxing getaway surrounded by beautiful scenery.

"The hotel is a bit old, but the service is absolutely fantastic. Both the Chinese and Japanese staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room is spotless, and there's a tatami area perfect for entertaining guests, chatting, or having tea. It's very quiet and comfortable. You can go snorkeling directly from the hotel's small beach downstairs, but you'll need to rent a life vest. When there are fewer people, the snorkeling visibility is excellent. The downside is that there are hardly any restaurants nearby; you'll need to take a taxi. The closest convenience store is more than a 20-minute walk away, and the hotel itself has very few dining options. There were a lot of cobwebs on the balcony, but the view is unbeatable. Almost every room in this hotel is a direct ocean-view room. I'll definitely stay here again next year and hope the hotel adds more food and beverage choices. The 120 bus to the airport is conveniently located just across the street."

"Pros:
1. The hotel is close to the Cape Manza scenic spot, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
2. The hotel offers a wide range of water activities, including but not limited to banana boats, jet skis, an inflatable water park, glass-bottom boats, and sunset cruises. If you're not planning on visiting the outer islands, you could easily spend a whole afternoon here.
Cons:
1. The hotel is a bit old. The lobby has no air conditioning 🥵, and the room decor and furnishings feel dated. The shower pressure in the bathroom 🚿 isn't great either.
2. The outdoor pool closes at 6 PM, and the beach only stays open until 5 PM. I won't even mention other times, but Okinawa right now is scorching hot and sunny. The only time you can really enjoy the pool or ocean without getting baked is closer to sunset (unless you don't mind the sun, then never mind what I said). But then you only get to play for a short while before you have to leave!! 😅"

"Stayed for 1 night at the hotel and everything was perfect. Feeling welcomed at the door with the staff greeting us and checking with our booking, followed by a welcome matcha and mochi then the check-in procedures. Since we booked the plan with dinner and breakfast, we got the time to enjoy the public bath area before heading to the restaurant for a scrumptious dinner, with sunset as the backdrop.
Breakfast on the next day is also a pleasant surprise with the Japanese set breakfast and free flow on pancakes that you can make on your own at the pancake machine, which is a satisfying if you crave for a taste of Western style breakfast. I would love to stay in this hotel again when revisiting Okinawa next time!"

This menu can afford to be improved as it currently only offers smaller pizzas. I booked this hotel to be close to the blue cave, which is a short bus ride away, and even walkable should one feel obliged. Breakfast was served as a varied buffet with both continental and local influences."

We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a drawback at all—there is so much more to the property than the pool.
Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience.
Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainment—even in the winter season.

The hotel has a free self-service bar that provides a variety of drinks, and you can borrow beach facilities for free. It is very friendly, the Japanese tatami is very authentic, and there is a good barbecue restaurant 5-10 minutes' walk away.

AAnonymous UserWonderful hosts.I stayed in the attached two-story townhouse. Upstairs was a roomy bedroom with 3 big-sized single beds. Downstairs had a new bathtub/shower combo in the bathroom. and roomy kitchen had all modern amenities and served as the family room. Great outdoor space for a BBQ or just to relax with some snacks and drinks. Best part was my dog could enjoy being inside and outside with no restrictions. Just be considerate with your pet. (pay pet fee upon check-in ¥1,100) Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is situated between the Hotel Monterey and the Sheraton, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are incredibly spacious – all suites with two bedrooms, roughly 70 square meters, plus a large terrace of about 10 square meters. Every room offers a direct sea view.
Although the hotel is separated from the beach by a road, it's just a short walk across to the sand. The beach is uncrowded, and under the sunlight, you can clearly see the distinct layers of the 'jellyfish sea,' which is absolutely stunning. For breakfast, there are two choices: Western and Japanese, though the variety isn't extensive. There's a FamilyMart convenience store next door, making it easy to grab essentials. It's the perfect place to just relax and unwind, gaze at the sea, and collect hermit crabs – a truly a fantastic vacation spot.

I hate small rooms, so I looked around to find a relatively spacious place.
There were two double beds, a large living room, and even a large refrigerator.
I really liked the jacuzzi.ㅎㅎ
I stayed for 3 nights, rented a car, and went around here and there. In the evening, I wore slippers and pajamas and went around eating at various places starting from Onna Village Izakaya.
There was a convenience store nearby, so I filled the refrigerator with Orion beer.
I had a hearty 3 nights.ㅎㅎ
The breakfast was clean and good. It was better than a buffet.

GGuest UserI was innocently to believe there are several swimming pools from the hotel photo, but was disappointed that there is only one (hotel mentioned they have 3, actually is the same one but with shallower water at both sides).
We planned to swim and go outside in daytime and to enjoy the outdoor bath in our own terrace afterwards, but we found there were a lot of insects and flies at night, and we even not dare to open the terrace door to avoid the insects enter our room! The breakfast is a bit early to end at 10am. It is buffet style but not much good to eat. We only go for one day and find sth better to eat outside the rest of the days even though our room rate included breakfasts.
But Aquasense is still a lovely hotel! The room is really spacious and there were three large comfortable beds. The fridge is a home-use size with freezer which seldomly found in most hotels, we can store icecream there and can eat anytime we want to. And the view from terrace is amazing and feel relaxed to stay in the room with lots of sofas! Lastly, I must mention about the fireworks! Hotels launch the fireworks specially for summer in July and Aug, we can enjoy the fireworks at our own terrace. We all loved it so much and it is really an unforgettable experience,

TTraveller4444If you’re traveling solo and are not planning on staying in a resort then I’d definitely recommend here. Very convenient location which can be accessed directly from the airport using the Okinawa airport shuttle. Right next to the beach and a 7/11 with restaurants also close by. If you’re not renting a car you can also use the local bus services to go both north and south. Overall a very good experience staying here

GGuest UserBeautiful view and nice public bathhouse, but no cold plunge. The rooms are old and unrefined. Only two bright white overhead lights that cannot be dimmed, plus a single lamp on the nightstand that must be unplugged in order to plug in anything else near the beds, which are uncomfortable and creaky. Futon sets in the Japanese/Western room can only be used “with permission” and at an additional charge. Mini fridge sits on top of a baking sheet. Security latch for door does not have a corresponding part and is therefore is useless.

The waiters are friendly and there is free parking nearby. In particular, the breakfast is delicious. The hotel is close to the pier, and the hotel has fishing rods for you to borrow for fishing👍

Tthat DamianExcellent location and service, the location is superb, being close to not only beaches, but also in-between Yomitan and Onna (and OIST university, if you'd like to visit your friends). There's also a combini right next doors(!. Cape Maeda, Zakimi Castle is also all at cycleable distance!
