"Conveniently located about 700 meters from Shiraoi Station, making it easy to walk to the Upopoy National Ainu Museum and Park. There aren't many dining options nearby, so we opted for the half-board package (dinner and breakfast). The room itself was very spacious, but it only had a toilet, no shower – you need to use the public baths. Shiraoi is known for its Shiraoi beef and Kojohama mentaiko (spicy cod roe), and the hotel's buffet breakfast and dinner offered incredible value for money. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Everything was perfect! The staff was kind, helpful, and extremely efficient, as always in Japan. I loved the relaxing area where I could work a bit and the peaceful atmosphere, the impeccable cleanliness, and all the extra services included. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from the station."

"Kojohama Spa Hotel is new, modern, and very clean, with a welcoming lobby where guests can help themselves to free drinks – coffee, tea, apple water, and hot water. It’s a nice touch to be able to grab something the moment you arrive. The onsen is another highlight. It’s open until late and well-equipped with everything you need (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc.). The atmosphere is tranquil, away from the city and traffic noise, making it a relaxing retreat for both couples and families. The location itself doesn’t have much right outside – it’s along the highway – but that also makes it a convenient base. The hotel seems popular for its day-use onsen, and it’s also close to the shoreline where crab eateries are scattered. Perfect spot to unwind after a seafood feast. Since it’s a little outside of town, we grabbed sashimi and ready-to-eat food from the supermarket to enjoy back in our room – a simple but satisfying option. The rooms are comfortable, and being a newly built hotel, you’ll find thoughtful touches like smart lighting sensors in the lobby and onsen areas. Overall, a clean, modern, and peaceful stay with a great onsen and easy access to local food spots."

"Came in February (stayed one night) and came back again in November this time to stay two nights. Still one of my, if not favourite hotels ever. Charming hotel with excellent view. Really really awesome hotel. They even somehow knew my birthday was near and celebrated it by offering us a glass of champagne and a nice picture printed out. If possible, try staying 2 nights at least to fully relax and experience all that the hotel has to offer. From the food to the views to even the afternoon craft beer… everything is so so good 🫨"

"The hotel is very close to Noboribetsu jr station, and the shuttle service is very nice. After we got there, the pick-up staff suggested that we go directly to play. She picked up our luggage and made an appointment to come here to pick us up when we left. To the Knicks Aquarium, and proposed to send us to the Aquarium, and agreed to time to send luggage to the station, super nice. thank you very much! And there are also Chinese speakers. The hotel is in a good location, the room overlooks the sea, and is close to the Knicks. The breakfast and dinner provided is Japanese and very authentic. Worried that children who are not used to eating can buy some sushi in advance. The hotel has a refrigerator and a microwave oven to heat it. In addition, they will actively cook noodles for children. Drinking hot water and ice water are well prepared. There are also self-service machines to buy drinks. Hope to have a chance to go again. The hot springs are available both indoors and outdoors, and there are shades on the tops of the outdoors, so you can enjoy the snow without having to worry about being caught."

"This time, I stayed at a Hoshino Resorts KAI property, and the main draw was the onsen (hot spring) experience. The spring water quality was excellent, leaving me feeling completely relaxed after a soak. Compared to other Hoshino series, this one isn't as luxurious, but the architecture is modern and stylish, and the environment is serene and comfortable. The service was exceptional; the staff were attentive and polite, making for a very welcoming stay. Although the room was simple, it was clean and tidy, and the onsen facilities were easy to use. Overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for travelers who want to enjoy hot springs without excessive luxury. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit."
