Reforma and Polanco, 11.3 km from Mexico City Airport. 144 modern, soundproof rooms, air conditioning, a restaurant, bar with 24-hour snack service, free WiFi, private parking and access for people with disabilities.

"Great hotel to stay at in Mexico City because it's centrally located, and a tour operator picked me up for an excursion to Teotihuacan, which was fantastic. The staff was also cordial in general, and I felt safe with the private guard in the front lobby. As for the room, it was just as advertised in the adverisement description and pictures. Warm water worked, and so did the A/C. Wifi worked well, but because I have used Ibis Hotel in other countries, I already had a general account, so accessing wifi was a little tricky in the beginning, but after resetting my password, I was able to access wifi. With regards to the restaurant, some of the dishes were delicious for dinner, such as the Enchilada Suices. The breakfast buffet was well worth it and had a variety to select from. Overall, this hotel is a good value for your money."

"A terribly bittersweet experience. I don't know if all rooms have the same problem, but at least in room 101, where my wife and I stayed, they have a very serious problem: the shower is quite high above the floor where the sink is. Furthermore, the floor where the sink is located isn't slippery like the shower floor, so when I got out of the shower, I took a very hard fall on the floor, which, when it got even slightly wet, became completely slippery. Fortunately, it didn't go beyond an arm injury that has disabled me for a couple of days now, for which no one is paying me, and for which I'm quite upset. I was close to hitting my head on the edge of the shower head, and that could have been too serious. I consider it negligence on their part to maintain this facility in this state. I'm young, yet I was close to having a major accident simply because the hotel doesn't have at least a mat or something similar to prevent the floor from slipping. I can't imagine what could happen to someone older than me after a fall like mine. I feel sorry for the hotel employees who were there when I mentioned the situation. They're very kind, but it seems they're completely tied down when it comes to making decisions and proposing solutions. I had to ask them for assistance to help me get my bags downstairs because I couldn't even move my arm, thinking it could even be a fracture. I hope the hotel management contacts me, because I'm extremely upset about this situation and I demand that they take action on the matter."

The same problem with all holidayinn hotels is that there is a lot of room for improvement in hotel management. After the room was cleaned every day, someone would keep knocking on the door asking if the room had been cleaned. This shows very poor management. The location of this hotel is in a prosperous area in the city center, with very convenient transportation and easy taxi access for daily travel. It is convenient to eat around and safe to walk.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future. On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service. If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.

It was so nice to be able to be so close to my gate when I was just traveling through the airport and had a long layover. Once you walk through those doors you wouldn’t even know you were in an airport. It was quiet and very clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. We arrived quite late, around midnight, but the staff were accommodating and made the late check-in smooth and hassle-free. Security was present at all hours, which made us feel safe throughout our stay. The apartment itself was modern and very well-equipped with all the utensils and facilities we needed, making it easy to prepare meals and feel at home. Everything was spotless and smelled wonderfully fresh the moment we walked in. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, secure, and comfortable stay with great amenities and friendly service.

We were visiting Mexico City for holiday and found the hotel to be in a superb location for all we had planned. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. The room was superb. The only downside was that we had booked with breakfast and there was a lot of confusion as to what our breakfast should be. First day we had one small piece of toast and a couple of pieces of fruit but the second day we were offered any eggs dish from the main menu. We thought perhaps they had got it wrong on the first day as this amount was just about right for a child rather than an adult. However on day three we were offered what we had on day one so very confusing. Other than this our stay was superb.

We loved staying here although we did have a few hiccups. We arrived before check-in but we could leave our luggage at the hotel which was a relief. Unfortunately we lost our luggage ticket while out, but the front desk employee Grecia made it seem as if it were a huge problem and that we would not be able to retrieve our luggage at all. She did not reassure us even after we expressed confusion and concern. However once we had already gotten very stressed about this, another employee simply asked for our identification and quickly resolved the problem (which was their standard protocol). The stress was avoidable. When we arrived to the room we had to call to request robes and slippers, and there was only one water bottle even though we were two guests. In the bathroom, there is only one hook for the towels, which was inconvenient. The shower also leaked water all over the bathroom which is an architectural problem and can’t really be helped but was annoying as the bathroom floor was wet. The lighting in the room was also very dim, but that might just be a personal preference. Multiple times when requesting towels or water from room service, we had to call several times to remind them of our needs (we even once went personally to remind them at the front desk after 3 times of calling). On our last day we were eager to enjoy one final breakfast, which is listed as being from 6am-11am. However the food was not set up until 6:20-30, so we had to rush to eat before checking out to make it in time for our flight. Also at breakfast there is no self service tea or water station, and although the staff are attentive, it’s too much for them to be able to meet everyone’s needs at rush hour breakfast. However despite all of this we are left with a great memory of staying here. The food at breakfast was delicious, and most of the staff were very kind despite the delays in service. The location is convenient and the room was comfortable. I do not regret staying here although for ~300 USD a night I might expect a little bit more attention to detail.
