"There were large gaps in the windows, making the room as noisy as being outside. I managed to improve the situation slightly by stuffing some paper in them. The bed was short; my feet hung off at 186cm tall. The overhead shower's control was broken, but I fixed it with a toothbrush from the amenity kit. You might also have trouble with the toilet flush. Just remove the tank lid and adjust the guiding rod under the flush button. Breakfast is only for those who aren't picky at all. I asked for an omelet, and they made it without a problem, but it might be undercooked. The location is convenient. If you're considering staying in Sandakan, keep in mind that the drive to the airport will take at least 30 minutes. It's fine for a couple of days."

"What a bizarre hotel with unique decorations theme. The rooms is a bit small for a family but clean and adequate. Was very facinated with the star wars theme cafe next door and the scenery is really beautiful. Overall, very enjoyful stay."

"For a small town this consider one of the okay hotel. If you don't need anything fancy and just for sleep, this hotel is sufficient. One complaint though, the fridge have stain cause it keep on and off I guess based on occupancy availability. Afraid of mold and hotel need to be little bit more care to cleanliness. Location wise it is at the main shop areas where you can find lots of food choices as well other grocery pharmacy within walking distances."

A friendly clean hotel in a good location in the town centre. The staff were very helpful. They offered laundry and help with booking any trips. However, it is advertised that a simple breakfast is included with a picture of some hard boiled eggs, bread, bananas and spreads. When we went to have our first breakfast, there was nothing apart from 2 loaves of bread and a few spreads (butter/fruit jams to choose from) so we were pretty disappointed. This needs to be updated as it is misleading.

I made a last-minute decision to visit Sepilok and, with limited options, ended up booking this hotel. Overall, it's decent, but don't expect too much from the room facilities, as it was built in 2006. I recommend bringing your own slippers and toiletries, as they aren't provided proactively. However, the hotel environment itself is quite nice. There's supposedly a good trail within the resort, but I couldn't find it anywhere – it might be a very rustic path, and I didn't dare explore further after the rain. It's also very close to the sun bear and orangutan centers, within walking distance. The hotel check-in starts at 2 PM, and the orangutan center's feeding time begins at 3 PM, but the sun bear sanctuary closes at 3:30 PM. So, if you plan to visit both attractions after checking in, I suggest heading to the sun bear sanctuary first. Alternatively, you could visit both attractions in the morning before checking into the hotel. The hotel's night walk was pretty good; I was initially worried about safety, but it turned out to be quite easy. That said, it's still wise to bring proper gear.

It's not far from RDC and the Orangutan Conservation Center. The sanitation is good, the environment is nice and quiet, and the front desk service is good. One thing to note is that it's not so easy to get a taxi from there to the city. I waited for 20 minutes before I got one.

We stayed there three nights. We had a family room. I couldn’t say it’s very clean, but it’s definitely not very dirty. It’s a rustic kind of stay. Staff was very helpful. Keen to help whenever we needed. We had laundry service, but quite expensive. So don’t bother. I think they said it’s done by outsider. Not many options for food. Didn’t see much at the jungle in front of our balcony. We had a snake visiting our bathroom. Quite scary. My partner threw it back into the jungle. They offer free transfers to and from orangutan and rainforest areas which was nice. Happy to recommend this place to anyone. It’s different from normal hotels.

Nice place to stay, i stayed there 3D2N, i book via trip.com,have all necessities shop nearby, like restoran, bank, DIY, Watson (a bit far), etc just 3 - 5 minutes walk. Cleanliness is tip top, have shop, ahampoo and toothbrush (no toothpaste), internet is working fine,lock door room and front door is using qr. They provide mineral water 500ml 1 bottle and 1 coffee 3 in 1., another thing is they have working water heater, a/c is working fine. And they whatsapp customer asking if the room need to be serviced. They will ask rm50 deposit but will be returned at the end of stay after they go checking the room.

The location was good as it is within IJM area, there's a nearby bataras, restaurants are also close by. But the room didn't have a cabinet or hanger, kinda inconvenient for business travel. Also would appreciate if they could prepare a common area microwave.

The location is a bit far from the city center, but it has a large parking lot and a gas station nearby, which is great for self-driving travelers staying overnight. The room design is a bit retro, but all the amenities are there and it's very clean. Highly recommended for friends who are on a road trip!

A decent hotel, a bit out of town, but perfectly fine for an overnight stay. It's a quiet location. We probably visited off-season, as there weren't many places to eat during the day, though a couple of cafes were open in the evening.
