"It was an okay experience. I’ve stayed here before mostly due to the convenient location of being next to the train station, however I feel the hotel needs an update. Light switches were not working properly in the room and it left a tired feel to the property. The management team should consider updating the facilities to reflect most Mercure hotels"

"Love it. I was assigned to a nearby job visit. This hotel was initially not easy due to the construction going on that blocked the direction that google map suggested, but it was manageable. There is Lidl near by and a shop for dinner or lunch nearby too. There is a bus that is easily access which will bring u to the city center, so making it easy to get back to the hotel too."

"Hotel facilities are good, the room is large, the surrounding environment is beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately, there is no time to enjoy the special SPA service."

"This hotel is definitely worth a visit! Very kind personnel. Location is great and the rooms large, clean and equipped with all you need to spend a few days without missing your home. There are different options to have either lunch or dinner (yes, different restaurants that are part of the hotel), all serving very good food. Extremely friendly waiters/waitresses and breakfast was also above the average one you can find in Europe and superb compared to most hotels in the UK (for comparable price, of course). Price is very reasonable too, so I highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending some time at Nijmegen or around (is very close to train station too). Oh, just another point is that the music they play is great too!"

"Front desk staff was courteous and professional. The corner room on the ninth floor had a great view. Open bathroom is a little strange and toilet is extremely small. Compared to other van der Valk properties this one ranks much lower than others. Very slow internet, little choice of TV stations, no streaming services etc."

"Nice Hotel in hArtje center Nijmegen. Unfortunately breakfast is not available, for that you need to go to n other Hotel a little further in the street. Also, the price of this breakfast does not appear to be matched with the received confirmation of Trip.Com. was still 5 Euro more expensive. Moreover, you will not get breakfast if you do not book this in advance. Personal is super helpful and friendly."
