When my husband went to negotiate, she still lied to us, saying that none of the rooms had these furnitures, and the photos on Ctrip were from before the hotel was renovated. Now all the rooms are the same, and they could only send us a small table. We were very angry and felt that she did it on purpose, and that it was clearly discrimination. We directly asked to find the manager to complain and informed Ctrip customer service. Ctrip asked us to negotiate on our own first. Fortunately, my husband speaks very good English, and after arguing with reason, we successfully changed the room and upgraded it to a sea view room with a balcony. Later, the manager even wrote a letter of apology in person, which really reflects the service attitude of a top luxury hotel. So let me remind everyone, be careful of racial discrimination with ulterior motives when traveling abroad, and be sure to argue with reason if you encounter such a situation."
