"I felt it was an old inn. The taps made annoying noises and the indoor slippers were not new. However, the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and parking was cheap. It would have been even better if there were bottled water in the rooms."
Hotel Urbic Kagoshima
"The check-in and check-out process was very smooth, which was great."
Koko Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan
"This time I stayed at Kagoshima Koko Hotel and it was very comfortable and relaxing. I stayed in a single room on the side of the 11th floor. It was just two steps left after getting out of the elevator and it was there. It was super convenient. Although the room is not big, the view is great. You can see Sakurajima volcano outside the window, and you can also enjoy the night view of the city and the lights of the planetarium at night. Although it was raining, the hotel's location was great. There was a shopping street with awnings nearby, so we could take a leisurely walk. I also tried an osteopathic massage from a Japanese chiropractor, and was surprised by how strong the massage was and how precise the fingers were! There are also many famous restaurants, Don Quijote and shopping malls nearby, making life very convenient. You can also store your luggage after checking in and checking out, so you can go shopping or eat nearby without worry. The hotel is within a ten-minute walk of the lush green Terukuni Shrine and the Shiroyama Park Observation Deck. It is highly recommended that you take a side trip to see the natural scenery of Kagoshima and Sakurajima Volcano. The location, service and scenery are excellent, making it a very pleasant stay."
Quintessa Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan Relax&Sleep
"This was my second time booking QUINTESSA HOTEL, the Room always nice clean, receptionist very helpful and the others staffs also kindly with smiles, this added another wonderful memory to our holiday."
HOTEL MYSTAYS Kagoshima Tenmonkan
"Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is very convenient, many foo options. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Great value for the price, would definitely stay again!"
Hotel Welview Kagoshima
"I was able to relax with a fantastic view! Thank you very much."
Rainbow Sakurajima
"I went expecting a traditional ryokan, but I was a bit taken aback because it wasn't the old-fashioned style. The meals were served in a hotel style. The hot springs were good, and the surroundings were excellent. You can think of it as a modern ryokan."
Gracias
"The big plus for the apartment is the view of the volcano across the bay. It’s a short tram ride from the train station and an easy walk to the ferry across to Sakurajima. The owner doesn’t speak English, but it is very easy and quick to communicate via her daughter. The accommodation itself is well equipped - good to have a washing machine - but it is all very basic. For the price, we were happy with our stay."
Silk Inn Kagoshima
Featuring soothing natural hot springs and comfortable rooms, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
Hotel Fukiageso
"The location is fantastic! It's very convenient for visiting Shiroyama Observatory, Terukuni Shrine, the planetarium, Kagoshima Castle, and Sakurajima. The surrounding area is also very quiet, so you won't be disturbed at night. The hotel staff are very friendly and help make your beds every day. So I booked 3 nights for this short trip. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Kagoshima next time. Highly recommended for those who like Japanese-style houses."
Sakurajima Seaside Hotel
"The environment is good but the outdoor location of the hot spring is relatively dark The breakfast and dinner provided are very good The hotel staff has poor English skills. Please try to communicate in Japanese In addition the outdoor hot spring mixed bath is suspended"
